Chapter 88 Reaching the Other Side.

A loud explosion rang out, and the surrounding sand was hit by a powerful shockwave.

They all flew up from the objects, instantly filling the surrounding area with a cloud of dust.

As the smoke and dust slowly dissipated, Mo Ran finally arrived at the door of the house.

At this moment, the door handle had been blown off, and a gap had been blown into the door panel.

The door slowly opened inwards, and Mo Ran pushed it open.

"Creak!"

The door made a screeching sound before opening inwards.

Looking inside, Mo Ran could see a table directly opposite the door.

On the table at that moment, a pale skeleton lay slumped over.

The skeleton was dressed in a military uniform, with medals on it.

Mo Ran judged that this person should be a high-ranking military officer, and this should be his office.

Upon closer inspection, one can see a pistol on the skeleton's right hand.

On the side of the skull, two through holes can be seen.

"Judging from his appearance, he must have committed suicide."

Mo Ran picked up the pistol and examined it, discovering that its durability had long since reached zero.

With a gentle pull of the bolt, the entire pistol instantly fell apart into a pile of parts.

"It's rotten to this extent, how long will it take to recover?"

Brushing the dust off her hands, Mo Ran began searching around.

To the left is what appears to be a conference room, with many dusty documents scattered on the table.

To the right was a room full of books, and Mo Ran also found a safe inside.

"This safe wasn't even locked."

I tried turning the wrench on top, and the safe made a dull thud.

Then, Mo Ran slowly opened the box, revealing some files and an identity card inside.

The ID card has a half-body photo of a person, which can be identified by the clothes they are wearing.

Mo Ran believed that this person was the skeleton lying on the table outside.

"It turns out he was the commander-in-chief of this base. Hopefully, his ID card is still usable."

After carefully putting away the ID card, Mo Ran turned around and got off.

The mouse started again and crossed both tracks to reach the other side.

"Mouse, just crash right in!"

As the No. 1 steel shed drew closer, Mo Ran gave the order to the rat.

"Understood, conductor!"

The cold, mechanical sound of rats emanated from the vehicle, and its speed increased significantly.

"Bang! Clang, clang!"

The two double steel doors dented instantly, broke off from their hinges, and crashed heavily to the ground.

The mouse easily entered, and Mo Ran began to survey the interior.

The interior was also extremely messy, with all sorts of tools and equipment scattered in every corner.

The very center area was empty, but it was clear that it was a place for parking airplanes.

In a corner inside, there were many spare parts that had been removed from the aircraft.

After putting on the lightweight protective suit, Mo Ran got off the mouse and started walking towards the parts.

"These are all parts from an airplane. After disassembling them, we can definitely get a lot of high-grade metals."

Mo Ran quickly arrived at the pile of parts and began to disassemble them.

Large quantities of carbon fiber, aluminum blocks, wires, circuit boards, and various electronic components began to accumulate on the ground.

Not long after, those airplane parts piled up in the corner...

It had already been broken down into a large quantity of materials by Mo Ran.

"There are quite a lot of them, so we won't do a detailed count. Mouse, back the vehicle up."

After glancing at the various materials piled at her feet, Mo Ran gave up on taking a detailed inventory.

"Understood, conductor!"

A cold, mechanical sound emanated from the vehicle, which then began a 360-degree tank turn.

The entrance at the back opened, and Mo Ran began moving the materials on the ground into the storage room.
