The two men stared in disbelief at the three men, who appeared visibly energetic and full of life. "You three were here from the beginning???"
Kerwell found it absurd. He said seriously, "You broke the rules and sneaked out without participating in the wilderness survival exercise?"
The entire restaurant fell silent.
Eating melons is human nature, and beastmen are no exception.
They quietly looked up, their gazes shifting back and forth before finally settling on Avril and her two companions.
What does it mean to violate the rules and not participate?
Kerry has a fiery temper and always speaks his mind.
Avril quickly reassured them, explaining, "We participated, we just came out early."
Since they had been stranded before, they had a specific location and route.
If you still can't get over this, then all the suffering you endured over the past five days was for nothing.
I don't believe it!
They were struggling and miserable inside, while the three of them were enjoying a life of luxury outside.
Is this normal?
Believe it or not.
Ellis shrugged, indifferent.
Mugson and Kerwell also calmed down, realizing that they couldn't possibly be lying.
Each military academy student has a GPS tracking device attached to their computer, and their whereabouts are sent to the school in real time.
If they were cheating, they would have been caught long ago.
Their expressions softened, and they sat down again after standing up.
Kerviel couldn't help but glance at the three men's relaxed expressions, looking as if they knew the place well and had been having a great time these past few days.
He frowned, and was about to mutter a few words when Mugesen took out his Star Brain.
"what you do?"
"Send them your location."
The students were all connected to each other, and Mugesen couldn't bring himself to hide the fact that there were better places out there.
Kerwell frowned, about to refuse, but then he saw the three people opposite him and said, "They haven't sent any."
"Why are you being so kind?"
Mugesen: "How do you know the school doesn't know?"
"If it had been released from the beginning, then this training would have been meaningless."
The purpose of wilderness survival is to cultivate students' self-reliance and awareness in wilderness survival.
The locations where they were deployed were all deep in the mountains and forests.
Even if these three people were incredibly lucky and arrived here by following the correct direction and route, it would still defeat the purpose of this event.
The school will definitely stop it.
But no.
You can tell just by looking at them.
That can only mean that they survived in the wild.
Kerviel shut up; he didn't speak, but his eyes began to dart around.
He also saw the food stalls outside.
That's unbelievable.
There are so many people on such a remote and underdeveloped planet.
Are there still stalls available?
Although the food smelled delicious and made him very hungry, he still didn't choose to eat it.
He's not used to eating while walking.
As I was lost in thought, a shadow suddenly fell over me.
"Your food is here."
"There are three dishes in total: steamed pork with rice flour, lemon shredded chicken, and winter melon and pork rib soup."
"If it's not enough, we can add more."
"Please enjoy your meal." Ling Miao put down the dishes and turned to go into the kitchen.
Kerwell picked up his chopsticks without carefully examining the dishes in front of him.
It doesn't matter if he looks good or not, he's starving to death right now.
The aroma, in particular, hits the nose and is incredibly enticing.
Fearing that eating large mouthfuls too soon might upset his stomach, he first ladled himself a small bowl of soup.
The soup was very clear, and the winter melon was stewed until it became translucent. The skin had been peeled off, but you could still see some green streaks.
The winter melon flesh at the bottom was almost completely stewed until it was soft and mushy, like jelly.
Two small pieces of ribs lay quietly at the bottom of the bowl.
Because they use the finest spare ribs, both ribs are of very high quality, with a good balance of meat and bone, and a transverse bone running through the middle, so you can easily tear the meat off without much effort.
A bowl of warm soup traveled down his esophagus to his stomach, and Kerwell felt completely refreshed. The fatigue from these days of eating and sleeping outdoors dissipated considerably.
Even the lingering irritability was instantly soothed by the light and delicious winter melon soup.
"It tastes really good."
He sighed and looked at Mugesen, who was holding the Star Brain, across from him, urging, "Try it, it's really delicious."
He wasn't lying; this soup was a million times better than any food he had ever tried before!
The other person just grunted in response and didn't make a move.
Kerwell pursed his lips, not caring at all.
His gaze fell on the other two dishes.
The vibrantly colored shredded chicken immediately caught his eye.
Kerwell, holding his chopsticks, picked up a piece of chicken without hesitation.
The boss just mentioned something like hand-shredded chicken?
Was it torn by hand?
He examined it curiously. The chicken was cut in a very haphazard way, and there were even strands of chicken fiber on the edges, making it look like it had really been torn apart.
It's fragrant and spicy, but also has a subtle lemon scent, making for a refreshing and lingering flavor.
He looked around again and realized that the atmosphere in the restaurant was incredibly quiet.
Everyone was focused on trying their own food.
They ate with such relish that they seemed oblivious to their surroundings.
Even the people who had just spoken to him, as well as Avril, who was also a military academy student, were all intently trying the food in front of them.
Kerwell even saw a boy who, after finishing his rice, wasn't satisfied and poured it into his plate.
