Chapter Twenty-Four: Fried Dough Sticks 2

Fried dough sticks take only a few seconds to form, and are golden, fluffy, and soft, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, making them a top choice for breakfast for all ages.

Ling Miao fried the dough sticks methodically, while Susan smoothly scooped them out to drain the oil. The two worked together seamlessly.

Everyone's mouths are watering just looking at it! You should try some, host!

Not only them, but two little heads also peeked in through the kitchen doorway.

A little while later, a big head popped out from behind the little head.

Lerin took a deep breath. "It smells so good—"

"Slurp—"

He shifted slightly, then reached out to cover his mouth; saliva was about to spill out.

He knew his mother would laugh at him if she found out, so he nervously glanced at her expression and then at his older brother beside him.

Thankfully, they weren't discovered.

Having concealed these little actions, he smelled the fragrance wafting in the air again. It smelled so good!

What delicious food is Sister Miaomiao making?

Mmm—my mouth is watering again.

Rella, oblivious to the two children beside her, peered into the kitchen, seemingly unashamed, and swallowed hard before calling out.

"Miaomiao, what are we eating today?"

Ling Miao agreed and turned around to look.

Three heads were stacked like a Jenga puzzle at the kitchen doorway. She couldn't help but laugh out loud, before she could say anything...

The live stream viewers, who had been waiting for her to taste the food, went wild.

[Laughing, laughing, streamer, take a bite before you laugh!!!!]

[Host, if you still won't eat, I'm begging you [cute] jpg.]

Please, eat up!

Is there anything more important than us?

[Streamer, do you even remember you're a streamer? How can you abandon your fans like this? [crying/begging]jpg.]

Ling Miao only chuckled, then turned around to see the screen filled with resentment. She quickly composed herself and put the last fried dough stick into the pan.

She coughed lightly and explained, "The freshly fried dough sticks were too hot; the temperature should be about right now."

I'll just quietly watch you weave this.

So, is it safe to eat now?

[If you don't eat, I'll issue a warrant for your arrest across the entire galaxy [threat] jpg.]

Ling Miao selectively ignored it, her gaze flickering for a moment, and then the last fried dough stick was cooked.

She picked up a fried dough stick; it was golden brown, fluffy and soft, with a crispy outer crust. One bite revealed a soft interior.

With a rich, savory aroma unique to deep-fried foods, the high-temperature oil imparts a distinctive fragrance to the food. The aroma of the oil complements the softness of the wheat perfectly, creating a delicious and harmonious blend.

The allure of fried food reaches its peak at this moment.

The live stream room fell silent.

Even Sheng Qinian, who wanted to say something, hesitated for once, the taste rising up the walls of his mouth.

His usually clear and rational mind was now somewhat sluggish. He chewed slowly, thinking somewhat dulledly.

What was he about to say?

"elder sister--"

Ling Miao's legs were suddenly grabbed. She looked down and saw a fair face facing her, with big, round, wet eyes.

Its fluffy ears and bushy tail wagged incessantly, occasionally brushing against Ling Miao's waist.

"I want to eat—"

A soft voice came from the little cub's mouth. Ling Miao bent down, rubbed her face against the other's cheek, and agreed to its request in a daze.

Realizing what had happened, Ling Miao looked at the innocent-looking little cub in front of her: "..."

"Okay, then we can eat now."

Those in the live stream who heard this seemingly closing remark exclaimed: !!!

etc--

Before I could say anything, the streamer in front of me finished speaking with a smile and then turned off the live stream without hesitation.

It's that familiar black interface again.

Fans: "......"

I hate ignorant little kids!!!

Sheng Qinian, still waiting with bated breath: "..."

And so, on that day, a new thread started appearing under the comments section.

#How annoying are cubs?!#

#Ignorant toddlers should all be arrested and sent to kindergarten to be taught how to behave properly [smile]jpg.#

This outrageous flood of red comments actually attracted a lot of onlookers, sparking a new wave of interest.

Ling Miao was unaware of how things would unfold. After cleaning up the kitchen with Susan, she placed the breakfast they had prepared in front of them.

The two children were immediately drawn to the eye-catching fried dough sticks; their golden color, steaming heat, and rich aroma firmly occupied their attention.

With a soft yelp, Lerin closed his eyes, trying his best to appear calm.

But his constant swallowing betrayed him; there was grease around his mouth.

Normally, Rella would have pulled the children aside, cleaned them up, and given them a good talking-to, but now she simply couldn't care less about her two children.

She held a bowl of tofu pudding in her hands. The tender, trembling tofu pudding solidified into a quivering mass, while the originally crystalline sugar granules melted into a pool of transparent syrup with the heat.

With a couple of quick stirs, it blends seamlessly with the tender, white tofu pudding.

Scooping up a spoonful and putting it in my mouth, the soft, tender tofu melted quickly like water, leaving a sweet and delicious taste. A feeling of pleasure flowed through my entire body.

Even though Rella doesn't like sweets, she couldn't lie and say that this bowl of tofu pudding wasn't delicious.

Oh, and fried dough sticks too.

Her eyes were sharp, and she quickly locked onto the fried dough sticks on the plate.

Only two are left!

Rella's gaze shifted, and she saw that the two children were eating with more enjoyment than their mother, who was holding fried dough sticks in one hand and scooping up tofu pudding in the other.

As Rella suffered a heart attack, she pulled the plate of fried dough sticks over, but a small hand reached out halfway through.

Looking up, she saw her youngest son chewing, his cheeks smeared with oil, yet his gaze remained fixed on her.

"Holy crap!"

Rella squinted, tightened her grip, and smiled sweetly: "Mommy hasn't eaten yet."

Lerin shook his head vigorously, "Mom, sister, make some more!"

That heartless brat!

What a waste of my life raising him! He even tries to take food from his elderly mother!

Rella was heartbroken. Suddenly remembering something, she loosened her grip on the plate, but still held it firmly. "Your grandma hasn't eaten yet."

Odeya doesn't get up this early; she usually waits until they've almost finished eating before heading to the restaurant.

Upon hearing this, Lehring indeed hesitated.

In that split second, Rella snatched the plate over.

He grabbed a fried dough stick in each hand, stuffed it into his mouth, and looked at his son smugly.

Your mom is still your mom!

Seeing his mother's stunned expression, Lerin pouted and couldn't help but loudly berate her—

"Bad mom!"

Rella was delighted, watching her son, who was rarely humiliated, burst out laughing without restraint. She reached out to pat his head, but he dodged it.

But it didn't affect her mood at all. "Good son, Mom will always remember how good you are to me, sweetie~"
