The night was as dark as ink, and the dim streetlights barely illuminated the open space in front of Sun Xinyi's house.
Although the Sun family's house wasn't luxurious, it was warm and tidy, and it was where Sun Xinyi grew up.
Lin Yuan and Sun Xinyi had just finished their day's training at the gym and were on their way home.

Sun Xinyi shouted loudly, her voice echoing in the darkness.

She stared wide-eyed at the scene before her, where her father's slightly hunched figure was kneeling alone.
Just then, Sun Xinyi's gaze inadvertently swept behind her father.
Instantly, her heart clenched.
It turned out that the seriously ill mother was also kneeling on the cold ground!
In the dim light of the flashlight, the mother's haggard and pale face looked even more shocking.
Without thinking twice, Sun Xinyi rushed forward and grabbed her swaying mother.
"Mommy, Mommy, how are you? Are you hurt?"
At this moment, the man known as Tiger noticed Sun Xinyi's appearance, and a disdainful smile immediately appeared on his ferocious face.

After saying that, Sun Xinyi gently handed her mother to her younger sister, then turned around to face Brother Hu and the others.
Sun Xinyi took a deep breath, squatted down, clenched her fists, and assumed a standard Sanda (Chinese kickboxing) stance, exuding a fierce aura.
Seeing this, Tiger on the other side not only showed no intention of backing down, but instead let out a cold laugh.

One of the henchmen yelled at the top of his lungs, his voice sharp and piercing.
The other henchman was even more arrogant and domineering.
He pointed his finger directly at Sun Xinyi's nose and said with a vicious look:
"I've heard that Miss Sun recently found a job, earning twenty or thirty thousand a month! Hehe, are you planning to have that boss help you sort this out? If you don't want to suffer, you'd better hurry up and offer some kickbacks to our big brother!"
Hearing these sarcastic remarks, Sun Xinyi trembled with anger.
Her beautiful face was now ashen with rage.
Just as she was about to start fighting, a figure swiftly flashed in front of her, firmly protecting her behind him.
This person was none other than Lin Yuan.
Lin Yuan stood tall and straight, his eyes firm and sharp, making him someone not to be underestimated.
Although his tone sounded indifferent, it sent chills down one's spine.
"Tiger, what exactly do you mean by doing this?"
Lin Yuan stared directly at Tiger and coldly questioned him.
