"Waiter! Waiter! Come here right now!"
The obese woman was yelling and waving her hands wildly in the air.
Her face flushed red, beads of sweat hung on her forehead, and her body trembled with every movement, just like an enraged pufferfish.
At that moment, a waiter rushed over with a standard but slightly stiff smile on his face, attempting to smooth things over with his professional demeanor.
"Big sister, don't worry, tell me slowly what's wrong."
"Take your time? Humph, I've waited so long for this window seat. Now he's taken it, what are we going to do?"
The obese woman pointed at Lin Yuan not far away, her eyes filled with impatience and resentment.
The waiter's face was full of apologetic smiles.
"Madam, your seat is indeed reserved here, but unfortunately you are more than an hour late. According to our restaurant policy, we reserve the right to make reasonable seating adjustments for reservations that are overdue to allow other waiting guests to be served."
The obese woman completely ignored Xiao Li's explanation.
She grabbed the waiter's arm, shook it violently, and shouted, "You're bullying me! I don't care about any rules! I made a reservation in advance, this seat is mine! They have to give it to me!"
The waiter winced slightly from her grip and looked embarrassed.
However, he patiently said, "Madam, making a scene like this won't solve the problem. Please calm down, and we can discuss it further..."
"Discuss what?!"
The obese woman suddenly shoved Xiao Li aside, then turned and pointed at the waiter, shouting, "Give me your seat! Or I'll call the police!"
Just then, a man who was as thin as a monkey walked over, leading a little girl.
The man's face showed a hint of timidity, and his eyes darted around, as if he were afraid of getting into trouble.
The little girl stared wide-eyed, looking completely bewildered at the argument unfolding before her.
"Oh, honey, stop it. They were here first, let's wait a bit longer."
The skinny man whispered his advice, his voice barely audible, like a mosquito's buzz.
The obese woman, however, didn't buy it at all and pushed him away.
She pointed at Lin Yuan's nose and scolded, "How can you be so inconsiderate? I've been waiting for so long, can't you even give up your seat?"
Lin Yuan finally slowly raised his head, a hint of impatience flashing in his eyes.
He scrutinized the obese woman opposite him with an almost indifferent air, a slightly mocking smile playing on his lips.
"Ma'am, I'm afraid you've forgotten, but I reserved this seat in advance. If you're really in a hurry, there might be a better option next door."
Upon hearing this, the obese woman's anger erupted like a volcano.
"How can you be so unreasonable, young man? I've been waiting here with my child for a long time, can't you be a little more considerate?"
Lin Yuan gave a cold laugh, then straightened up, casually put his hands in his pockets, and his eyes were full of indifference and coldness.
"Bringing a child? What does that prove? Should I give in to you just because of that? That's overestimating your own importance."
Seeing that things were going badly, the waiter put on a big smile and quickly apologized.
"Ma'am, this seat was indeed reserved by this gentleman. How about this, we'll arrange a window seat for you right away, and you'll get a 20% discount on your bill today."
The obese woman, however, was unmoved and pointed at Lin Yuan's nose, yelling, "20% off? You think I don't know your restaurant's tricks? I don't care, I want this seat!"
The skinny man was sweating profusely with anxiety and tugged at the fat woman's sleeve.
"Honey, stop making a fuss. They're having a hard time too."
The obese woman shoved him away and yelled, "You useless piece of trash, all you know how to do is be afraid of trouble!"
Lin Yuan felt a surge of irritation as he looked at the scene before him.
I really hate people who make trouble unreasonably, especially women who act arrogantly just because they have more people than they do, even when they are in the wrong.
He took a deep breath and looked coldly at the obese woman, his eyes full of disdain.
"If you keep causing trouble, I won't be so polite."
Lin Yuan's voice was as cold as ice, yet it carried an undeniable authority.
The obese woman, however, showed no fear and became even more arrogant: "What can you do to me?"
Lin Yuan sneered and uttered a harsh remark: "With your fat body, like a pig, you still dare to act wildly here?"
The obese woman was instantly enraged, her face turning bright red and her eyes widening like saucers.
"You dare to insult me?"
Lin Yuan sneered, his eyes full of mockery: "I not only dare to curse you, I also dare to hit you."
Enraged, the obese woman lost her temper and suddenly raised her hand to slap Lin Yuan across the face.
Xia Qingxue watched in horror and cried out, "Lin Yuan, be careful!"
Lin Yuan remained completely calm. With a slight sway of his body, he delivered a flying kick that sent the obese woman flying three meters away.
The obese woman fell heavily to the ground, but her body fat cushioned the impact, so she was not seriously injured.
She sat on the ground and started yelling, her curses flying out like bullets: "You dare hit me? You dare hit me?"
After being kicked away by Lin Yuan, the obese woman sat on the ground, her body still swaying slightly due to inertia.
Her face turned bright red, and her eyes widened as if they were about to spit fire.
Her flesh trembled violently, like an enraged beast ready to explode at any moment.
