Liu Lin'er nodded slightly and admitted it.
"Well, my dad has learned a little about us from the Jiang family."
"He called me this morning and asked me about it. I neither admitted nor denied it! So I'm going home tonight and have a good talk with my family."
Liu Dawei really wanted to know what Liu Lin'er was thinking, so he asked curiously.
"What will you do if your parents object to us being together?"
Upon hearing this, Liu Lin'er frowned and fell into deep thought. After a long time, she bit her lip and spoke.
"To be honest, I don't know either!"
"They have always hoped that I would marry Jiang Zhenghong, but I don't like him at all."
When Liu Lin'er mentioned Jiang Zhenghong, her eyes were filled with disgust.
"He has ulterior motives. He wants me only for profit, but more importantly, he wants my company."
"You don't like me either, do you?" Liu Dawei smiled. "You're always giving me the cold shoulder. What would you do if I wanted your company?"
There was a hint of ridicule in Liu Dawei's smile, and he thought his cold-faced wife was very interesting.
Liu Lin'er bit her lip, a hint of coldness flashed across her face as she spoke.
"Liu Dawei, I hope you understand one thing. Whether I like you or not, we are now husband and wife!"
"You are my husband. If you need money, you can ask me and I will give it to you. But if you want to interfere in my company, dream on!"
At the end, Liu Lin'er's tone carried a hint of unquestionable coldness.
