[Chapter 254 Goodbye Youan]

[Chapter 254 Goodbye Youan]

Lin Yin was lying on the sofa, watching short videos out of boredom, until she saw a blogger asking for help.

They said they had built a shelter for stray animals, and more and more animals were being adopted, but they were spending more than they earned and were about to go bankrupt. They begged kind-hearted people in the society to donate supplies.

If asked to donate money, Lin Yin might still hesitate.

But what the blogger needs is supplies, and it is highly likely that he is not trying to scam people out of money.

She clicked on the blogger’s profile picture and sent a private message asking for the address.

Then I ordered supplies online, from dog food and cat food to other supplies, spending about 100,000 yuan.

Huo Jingze finished his shower and walked towards her while drying his hair. Seeing her sending a voice message on her phone, he asked curiously.

"Who are you talking to?"

After Lin Yin sent the last sentence, she put down her phone, threw herself into the man's arms, and sniffed his neck like a kitten.

"You're using that new body wash? It smells so good."

The male lead threw away the white towel he used to wipe his hair and hugged her waist, "Don't change the subject. Who were you texting with just now?"

As he spoke, he glanced at her phone. The avatar was a smiling Samoyed, and it was impossible to tell the gender.

Lin Yin rubbed the man's well-defined jaw and said softly, "I was just watching a short video and saw a blogger from a pet shelter asking for help. It didn't look fake to me, so I donated a batch of supplies and am negotiating the details."

Huo Jingze raised his eyebrows slightly, his eyes full of doting, and reached out to rub Lin Yin's hair, "The wife follows the husband's lead. Give me the address and the person in charge's phone number. I will let the charity fund under the Yunshen Group contact them and provide them with long-term assistance."

Lin Yin raised her little face, her eyes showing a little surprise, "Really? Aren't you afraid that the other party is a liar?"

Huo Jingze chuckled, "You are not afraid, so why should I be afraid? We should accumulate our virtues. If they cheat, it is their own fault. What's more, it is not difficult to find out whether they are selling misery to make money or they really need help."

Lin Yin nodded with a sweet smile on her face, "I didn't expect our lawyer Huo to be so caring."

"Do you think I'm a heartless person?" Huo Jingze deliberately put on a stern face, looking unhappy.

"No, no, how could that be? In my heart, you are the best person in the world."

Lin Yin hurriedly held Huo Jingze's face and kissed his cheek soothingly.

The hero was very pleased with her compliment, so he grabbed the back of her head and bent down to kiss her rosy lips.

Today he was exceptionally gentle, not as strong and overbearing as before. Instead, he gently caressed Lin Yin's lips, as if he was kissing a rare treasure, cautiously and with full of cherishment.

Lin Yin felt his tenderness and slowly closed her eyes. Her long eyelashes trembled slightly, like a lovely butterfly.

The kiss was gentle and long. After a long time, Huo Jingze reluctantly let go of Lin Yin. Looking at her moist and clear red lips, his Adam's apple rolled.

Lin Yin's cheeks were flushed, her eyes were blurry, and she was breathing slightly. She had not yet fully recovered from the kiss just now.

Huo Jingze couldn't help but pecked the corner of her lips again, his voice low and hoarse: "Do you want to do it tonight? It's a good time to try out the new small umbrella with particles."

His eyes were filled with eager desire and suppressed desire, so hot that it seemed to ignite the air around him.

Lin Yin blushed and shook her head desperately, "Let's do it another day. I plan to go to the Taoist temple to perform a ritual tomorrow. I heard that it's best not to have sex a few days before the ritual, so I'd better hold back."

Huo Jingze frowned slightly, feeling a little disappointed, but he still resisted his desire, held her in his arms, and said softly, "Okay, let's do it another day. I'll go with you tomorrow."

Lin Yin nodded gently, leaning in his arms, feeling his strong heartbeat.

Today is a rare good day, with clear skies and bright sunshine.

Huo Jingze put aside all his work and drove Lin Yin to Qingfeng Temple himself.

The temple master knew Ni Lu. Lin Yin had previously chatted with the master and mentioned that she wanted to perform a ritual, so Ni Lu recommended that she come here.

Although the Qingfeng Temple has few worshippers, the abbot does have some real skills and is able to liberate the souls of the dead.

So Lin Yin came here.

I haven't been here for several months, and Qingfeng Temple is still the same as before, except that the doorman has grown a little older and taller.

Lin Yin and Huo Jingze followed the doorman into the Taoist temple and met the old abbot.

Lin Yin had already communicated with the old abbot on the phone, and all the materials had been prepared. After a brief exchange of words, the ritual could begin.

The old abbot was wearing a Taoist robe, standing solemnly in front of the altar, holding a peach wood sword, muttering something, his tone sometimes high and sometimes low, as if he was really communicating with the dead souls.

As he chanted, the air around him seemed to become heavier.

Lin Yin looked at the smoke rising from the altar and thought of every moment he had spent with Jiang Shu on the island. His eyes gradually turned red and his nose felt sore and unbearable.

Tears rolled down my cheeks uncontrollably.

Jiang Shu, I hope you can live a peaceful and happy life in your next life.

The ritual was over. The old abbot had expended a lot of energy. After chatting with Lin Yin for a few words, he was helped by the doorman back to his room to rest and left them to do as they pleased.

Lin Yin wanted to take a walk in the Taoist temple, and Huo Jingze was about to accompany her, but suddenly he received a call from the company.

"You answer the phone first. I'll just take a walk by myself. I'll be back in ten minutes." Lin Yin said considerately.

The Taoist temple is sparsely populated, so there shouldn't be any threat.

Huo Jingze touched her head and said, "Well, don't go too far."

Lin Yin nodded, turned around and walked slowly along the bluestone path.

Huo Jingze watched her back disappear around the corner before answering the phone.

Lin Yin strolled in the quiet Taoist temple, where ancient trees stood tall and the leaves rustled in the breeze.

She enjoyed this moment of tranquility and her mood became particularly relaxed.

Until she heard someone calling her.

"Ms. Lin Yin, is that you?"

Lin Yin turned around subconsciously and was caught off guard by a pair of ice-blue eyes that looked like gemstones.

The man was wearing a long black windbreaker, the corners of his coat swaying gently in the breeze, and the corners of his mouth were slightly raised with a shallow and gentle smile.

"Euan?"

There was disbelief in her voice and her eyes were wide open with surprise and confusion.

Youan walked towards her with steady steps, his eyes always fixed on Lin Yin, his voice gentle and pleasant.

"Long time no see, I didn't expect to see you here
