[Chapter 377 A Warm Moment]

[Chapter 377 A Warm Moment]

On rainy days, fine raindrops fall from the sky like silver-grey spider silk, interweaving into a hazy web that covers the entire imperial capital.

Huo Jingze sat on the sofa in the living room, holding his knees with his hands. The pain there made him frown in unbearable pain.

Lin Yin was reading a book nearby. She looked up inadvertently and saw the forbearing expression on his face. She looked concerned and asked, "Jingze, what's wrong with you?"

Huo Jingze didn't want to make her worry, so he pretended to be relaxed and said, "It's nothing, I just sat for too long and felt uncomfortable."

Lin Yin was not fooled by him. She put down the book, walked towards him, half-knelt in front of him, and gently rolled up his trouser legs.

There used to be a bloody mess here, but it has now scabbed over, leaving only an unsightly scar.

"Is your knee hurting again?" She stroked it gently, feeling a little uncomfortable. This was all the suffering for her.

Huo Jingze knew he couldn't hide it anymore, so he smiled helplessly, "Well, it is a little, but it's not serious, don't worry."

How could Lin Yin not be worried?

Her eyes were red and tears welled up uncontrollably. "How could you be so stupid? You made yourself like this for me."

Huo Jingze reached out and wiped away the tears from Lin Yin's eyes. "This little pain is nothing. Don't cry."

"I'll help you relieve it."

Lin Yin stopped crying, stood up, took out a soft pillow from the cabinet, and carefully placed it under Huo Jingze's feet to give his knees some relief.

Then he walked to the kitchen and soon brought out a basin of steaming water with a towel in the water.

Lin Yin put the basin on the ground, wrung out the towel, and gently placed it on Huo Jingze's knees. The steaming hot towel brought a warmth, which made Huo Jingze relax a little.

"Just sit still and don't move." Lin Yin concentrated on applying hot compress to him.

After applying the medicine for a while, she took out a bottle of medicinal wine from the drawer next to her, poured some into her palms, rubbed them to warm them up, and gently massaged them on Huo Jingze's knees with just the right amount of force, which relieved the pain without making him feel uncomfortable.

"When I regain my memory or pick up medical skills again, I will definitely help you heal your knee."

She raised her head, looked at the man with her bright black eyes, and promised seriously.

Huo Jingze bent his fingers and gently scraped her tender face, his dark eyes filled with smiles, "I believe Dr. Lin can do it."

With the encouragement from her lover, Lin Yin became more confident, and the corners of her mouth curved up.

Half an hour later, Huo Jingze felt that his knee was not so painful anymore. He gently held Lin Yin's hand and pulled her to sit beside him.

"That's about it. Do your wrists feel sore from rubbing my knees?"

He rubbed her with moderate force.

Lin Yin shook her head. "It's not sore. Jingze, if your knee hurts on rainy days in the future, you must tell me, don't just bear it yourself, understand?"

Huo Jingze looked at her with a soft gaze, "Yes, my dear wife."

Hearing his name, Lin Yin's fair cheeks turned red quietly, "Don't yell."

"I'm not calling you that." Huo Jingze hugged her, resting his chin on her shoulder, and said seriously, "We have obtained a marriage certificate. We are a legal couple. What else can I call you if not my wife?"

Lin Yin turned her head slightly and gave him a reproachful look, "You are the only one who is right."

Huo Jingze kissed her face, put his thin lips to her earlobe, and said seductively: "Call me husband and let me hear it."

Lin Yin's face turned even redder, like a ripe apple. She bit her lips lightly and said shyly, "If I don't yell, you'll bully me."

Her eyes were sparkling with a hint of coquettishness, and in Huo Jingze's eyes, they were so adorable.

Huo Jingze laughed softly, and the laughter echoed in Lin Yin's ears, with a different kind of charm, "If my wife doesn't yell, I'll make trouble for you."

As he spoke, he pinched the soft flesh on Lin Yin's waist.

Lin Yin couldn't help laughing, twisting her body slightly to avoid it, "Stop it, it's itchy."

"Are you going to scream? If not, I'll keep tickling you."

Huo Jingze knew Lin Yin's body very well and knew where she was most ticklish, so he kept tickling her ticklish spots.

"Don't!" Lin Yin couldn't stop laughing.

After they played around for a while, Lin Yin finally compromised.

She raised her head and looked into Huo Jingze's eyes. It seemed as if there was a bottomless lake hidden in those eyes that made her drown. “

"Husband." She called softly, her ears turning red.

"My husband is here."

Huo Jingze's smile deepened, and he hugged Lin Yin tightly, rubbing her into his body, "It's so beautiful, I want to hear it again."

Lin Yin punched his chest lightly, "You are too greedy."

"Scream ahead, scream ahead." Huo Jingze rubbed her face, acting like a mature man.

Lin Yuan didn't know when she woke up. She ran over with her short legs, calling softly as she ran, "Husband~"

Huo Jingze and Lin Yin were stunned for a moment. They looked at each other and saw surprise and laughter in each other's eyes.

Lin Yin's face was still red. She coughed lightly, trying to hide her embarrassment, "Yuanyuan, why did you wake up?"

Lin Yuan was wearing cute little bear pajamas, her face flushed, and she looked at Huo Jingze with sparkling eyes, "I heard Daddy ask Mommy to call me hubby, and I want to call her that too."

The little fellow spoke in a baby voice, tilting his head with an innocent look on his face.

Huo Jingze smiled and picked up Lin Yuan, kissing her little face, "Yuanyuan, be good, you can't call me hubby, this is mom's exclusive name for dad."

Lin Yuan blinked and nodded, not quite understanding, "Then if I call Dad hubby, will Mom be angry?"

Lin Yin pinched Lin Yuan's little nose and said, "Yuanyuan, you can call me daddy, but you can't call me husband. When you grow up and marry the person you like, you can call him husband."

Lin Yuan scratched his head and said, "Oh, Yuan Yuan understands now."

"Dad, it's raining, do your knees hurt?" the little guy asked with concern.

Huo Jingze touched her head and said, "It doesn't hurt anymore. Mommy is here to take care of Daddy."

Lin Yuan stretched out his little hand and touched Huo Jingze's knee, "Then I'll take care of Daddy too, and it won't hurt if I kiss you."

After saying that, she kissed Huo Jingze on his knee.

Huo Jingze's eyes were as gentle as water, "Our Yuanyuan is really sensible."

The rain was still falling, and the living room was filled with a warm atmosphere.

Lin Yin leaned on Huo Jingze's shoulder, watching the interaction between father and daughter, and felt warm in her heart.

At this moment, it seems that all the pain and suffering have gone away, leaving only simple and pure happiness.

In the evening, the rain stopped completely.

Huo Jingze had an emergency meeting and hurried to the company.

Lin Yin and her daughter were the only ones left at home. She looked at the time, got up and went to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

Just after washing the vegetables, the phone on the counter rang.

It was Bai Qingyan calling.
