[Chapter 398: A Slight Mistake]
The morning sun shines into the room, making it bright.
Huo Jingze woke up slowly, his temples still aching slightly.
His consciousness was still struggling in chaos, however, when his eyes fell on Bai Qingyue beside him and the eye-catching marks on her exposed skin, he was instantly struck by lightning and woke up completely.
Huo Jingze sat up suddenly, and his movement was so big that the bed shook violently, "Bai Qingyue, why are you in my bed!"
His voice was hoarse and contained some anger.

Huo Jingze came to the outside of the hotel and called He Kai.
He gripped the phone tightly, his knuckles turning white, and was about to curse, but suddenly stopped.
He took a deep breath and tried to suppress the anger in his heart.
This matter must not be known to any other people, otherwise it might reach Lin Yin's ears.
He hung up the phone directly and took a taxi back to the hotel.
Along the way, Huo Jingze looked at the passing scenery outside the car window, with a lot of thoughts in his mind.
Back in the hotel room, Lin Yin had just woken up. When she saw Huo Jingze, she thought he had come back last night.
"Jingze, how did the discussion go?" she asked, rubbing her eyes.
Huo Jingze tried hard to force a smile, "We have almost finished the discussion. You can go back to the capital today. If you are not feeling well, you can go back tomorrow."
Lin Yin sat up and stretched, "I'm almost well now."
As she said that, she moved closer to Huo Jingze's arms.
She frowned slightly and sniffed, "Jingze, why do you smell like a strange perfume?"
Huo Jingze's heart skipped a beat, but he remained calm, "The other party brought a female companion to the dinner last night. I think he got acquainted with her by accident."
Lin Yin looked at him, eyes clear and full of trust, "Oh, I see."
Then she gently pushed him and said, "Go take a shower first. You reek of alcohol."
"Okay, I'll go right away, you can sleep a little longer."
Huo Jingze walked into the bathroom, turned on the shower, and hot water poured down.

Liu Meilan looked at Lin Yin and then at Bai Qingyue, and said with a smile: "Qingyue and you really look alike. No wonder my friends all asked me if you and Qingyue are twin sisters."
After that, she turned her eyes to Huo Jingze and asked jokingly, "Xiao Huo, will you admit your mistake?"
Hearing this, Bai Qingyue subconsciously looked at Huo Jingze and pursed her lips.
Huo Jingze glanced at her, his dark eyes filled with warning, as if to say, don't say anything you shouldn't.
Bai Qingyue felt mixed emotions when he stared at her and lowered her head.
"They do look alike, but the difference is as great as a mile. In my eyes, Lin Yin is unique and irreplaceable." Huo Jingze pulled Lin Yin to his side, put his arm around her waist, and spoke in a cold tone.
His confession made Bai Qingyue feel even more bitter, and she forced a smile.
Lin Yin stood aside, looked at Huo Jingze and then at Bai Qingyue, and sensitively noticed that something was not right between Huo Jingze and Bai Qingyue's gazes.
A strange feeling came over her.
But she didn't think much about it, she believed Huo Jingze and he would not betray her.
Soon, a voice was heard at the airport reminding passengers to check in.
The few of them stopped chatting. Huo Jingze took Lin Yin's hand and left the VIP waiting room first.
Bai Qingyue looked at their clasped fingers and said bitterly, "Mom, do you really think we are making the right move?"
