"Why are you in such a hurry?" Zhang Ling frowned.
"Several sentries outside have been killed." The soldier ran in to report.
"What? The sentry was killed? Is there any other situation?" Zhang Ling's face darkened.
"To reply to the general, there is no other situation for the time being."
What does it mean that people from the Du Kingdom sneaked in and killed several sentries?
This is a provocation.
Zhang Ling's blood pressure rose as he thought of this. He kicked over the chair next to him and said, "Asshole! Damn it! Let the people on the front lines finish this quickly!"
"Yes!" The soldier was frightened.
He didn't know why the general suddenly flew into a rage. With several sentries dead, shouldn't they have thoroughly searched the barracks to see if there were any spies? Why was the front line being accelerated?
Confused, he tried to find a way to pass the general's message to Zhang Wentao, the military advisor who led the team.

It was quiet all around.
Zhang Ling drank some wine before going to bed and slept soundly.
Logically speaking, he shouldn't drink alcohol during this period, but he was in a depressed mood, so he drank two more glasses than usual.
Outside, Duan Yu and his men were quietly surrounding the military camp.
The people Duan Yu brought with him were all highly skilled in martial arts and killed many guards silently.
By the time Zhang Ling heard the noise outside, Duan Yu had already rushed to his tent.
Zhang Ling woke up in shock and immediately rushed out with his weapon in hand. However, Duan Yu's strength far exceeded his expectations, and after a few moves, Zhang Ling was subdued by Duan Yu.
"Duan Yu, what are you doing? You and I are both from Jiang country, but you are working for Du country!" Zhang Ling shouted angrily.
Duan Yu sneered, "Zhang Ling is plotting a rebellion. I'm here to take your life today!"
"Haha, treason? I am the current emperor of Jiang Kingdom!" Zhang Ling was furious.
"Our family? It seems that the emperor has not forgotten that he is a rootless person." Duan Yu pressed the sword against Zhang Ling and said sarcastically.
"You!" Zhang Ling's face turned blue with anger. "You traitor, you are committing treason. Believe it or not, I will kill all your clans!"
Duan Yu's eyes flashed with disdain, "Do you really think you are the emperor?"
Duan Yu pressed the blade hard, and Zhang Ling fell to the ground in pain.
"That's all." Duan Yu sneered, "I won't kill you. I want you to live well."
As he spoke, Duan Yu raised his foot and stepped on Zhang Ling's face: "Do you remember?"
Duan Yu was referring to the insult Zhang Ling had inflicted on him back then.
"You..." Zhang Ling's heart was filled with anger, but he could not break free from Duan Yu's suppression.
Duan Yu bent down, leaned close to Zhang Ling's ear and said, "You have to live well."
After saying that, Duan Yu stood up, waved his hand, and signaled his men to take Zhang Ling away.
Zhang Ling was tied up and escorted out of the tent. He looked back at Duan Yu, his heart filled with resentment.
"Who are you?"
A woman's voice came from behind.
Zhang Ling's pupils shrank. Gu Yufei was still here. If Duan Yu discovered his feelings for her, he might use this as a threat.
Zhang Ling forced himself to suppress what he wanted to say.

Gu Yufei looked at the group of soldiers in front of her.
Their clothes had no markings.
"Miss, please come with us." Just when Gu Yufei was confused, Watson appeared.
Seeing Gu Yufei's confusion, Watson continued, "They are the elite soldiers around the Prince Consort. They don't usually wear uniforms with the country's name on them."
"Where are you taking me?"
Watson hesitated for a moment and said, "Let's leave here first."
