Chapter 11 Seaside Fireworks

Chapter 11 Seaside Fireworks

"That's great!"

Han Yunxing squinted and leaned back, her hair still dripping wet, hanging loosely.

It's unbelievable

This is as good as it gets

It's unbelievable

Don't know what's gonna happen next…"

humming a song softly, the sunlight gently kissed Han Yunxing's face, making her skin seem almost transparent.

Kwon Ji-yong stood beside him, smiling happily. He rested his right hand on the back of the chair and used his other hand to hold up his phone and record the casual singing.

The two of them were a little sore all over when they got back, and they sat lazily on the carpet, leaning against the sofa in the living room.

They originally wanted to play Go, but they overestimated their skills. As complete beginners, they simply couldn't understand how to play.

So Han Yunxing started playing Gomoku with Kwon Ji-yong.

"Oh my god, I must be a national champion!" Han Yunxing said proudly, tilting his head slightly as they formed another perfect line.

I don't know how many games this is – the umpteenth defeat.

Kwon Ji-yong covered his face with both hands, his slightly distressed, childlike voice escaping through his fingers.

"Let's play another round!"

...

"Annyeongh! I accidentally downloaded the wrong one~"

"Yunxing, you can't take back your move!"

A victory within reach.

Kwon Ji-yong extended a finger and ruthlessly pushed away Han Yoon-sung's hand, which was trying to move the chess pieces. Han Yoon-sung puffed out her cheeks in frustration.

After the two of them started pecking at each other, Han Yunxing pulled over a nearby cushion, hugged it comfortably, and chatted with Kwon Jiyong about their plans for the next few days.

"Is Oppa going to stay in Jeju Island for a while?"

Han Yunxing tilted her head and leaned gently against the cushion, asking with a hint of curiosity.

She plans to stay until Kwon Ji-yong's coffee shop opens and then leave. Kwon Ji-yong sent her the design drawings a while ago, and the store's decoration style is amazing. She is looking forward to seeing it in person.

"I'll stay for two weeks at most," Kwon Ji-yong leaned back, resting his head on the edge of the sofa, and rubbed his forehead. "I'm having a party at home with +82 tomorrow. Is Yoon-sung coming? Sojoo and Joo-hyuk will be there too."

"Is Sojoo unnie here too?" Han Yoon-sung rubbed her face against the pillow in her arms.

Actually, Han Yoon-sung didn't attend many of Kwon Ji-yong's gatherings in the entertainment industry before, but Sojoo and Han Yoon-sung got along quite well. This lady is a cool and individualistic supermodel, and she lives a very carefree life. She also took good care of Han Yoon-sung during their previous meetings.

"Okay!" Han Yunxing thought for a moment and then agreed, "Thank you, Oppa~"

Han Yoon-sung realized that Kwon Ji-yong was helping him expand his network, and he wouldn't have specifically mentioned it at similar gatherings before.

Kwon Ji-yong reached out and ruffled Han Yoon-sung's hair, then gently pressed his hand on top of her head.

“Think about how Dawn will be discharged from the military at the end of October~” Kwon Ji-yong gritted his teeth and ruffled Han Yoon-sung’s hair again: “You should explain to your brother what happened during this time.”

"Both of you siblings are unexpected."

Han Do-eun and Kwon Ji-yong's friendship can be traced back to their time as trainees at S/M. At that time, Kwon Ji-yong was discovered by a talent scout because of a singing and dancing competition. When he first arrived at the company, he practiced infrequently, often only going a few times a month. In addition, he was not valued by the CEO, so he did not have any close trainee friends.

Then Han Daoen arrived.

Han Daoen had a passion for singing and dancing and insisted on becoming a trainee. Her parents had no choice but to ask a friend they knew to help Han Daoen get into the company as a trainee.

The children are actually quite perceptive; they sense that the teacher is very careful in her interactions with Han Daoen and doesn't dare to get close to him.

and!

Han Daoen may have dreams, but he's definitely tone-deaf and dance-deaf!

Other trainees didn't want to hang out with him either, feeling it was a waste of their time.

Kwon Ji-yong was still quite surprised when he thought about it.

They're clearly siblings, so how come their talents are so different!

In short, these two kids, who seemed to have no friends at the company, got to know each other just like that. Later, when Han Eun-do's heart broke from singing and dancing, it was Kwon Ji-yong who "ruthlessly" exposed it.

However, the friendship continued to spread in such a magical way, and it did not drift apart because of their different development paths.

Kwon Ji-yong switched companies to become a trainee, and has now realized his dream of singing and dancing, and is moving towards a bigger stage.

Han Daoen has already regarded his chuunibyou (adolescent delusions of grandeur) period as a dark history. Now he considers himself a standard domineering CEO, rarely smiling. But in the eyes of those close to him, Han Daoen is actually a boastful, talkative, and arrogant freak.

Han Yunxing felt a headache coming on when she thought of Han Daoen's talkative nature.

She tilted her head back and rubbed her palm against the top of her head, then looked at Kwon Ji-yong with her hands in a pleading gesture, trying to get someone to speak up for her.

Ah! This girl is good at playing the innocent!

"I understand. Even if Dawn were standing right in front of us saying something about you, I would still stop her for you." Kwon Ji-yong withdrew his hands, crossed them in front of his chest, and nodded helplessly to Han Yoon-sung.

Han Yunxing was extremely grateful and followed Kwon Ji-yong around like a little shadow.

Kwon Ji-yong leaned back on the sofa, wanting to laugh, as he accepted the water Han Yoon-sung handed him once again.

"Yunxing! Stop working and take a break~"

Han Yunxing said it wasn't enough!

She plans to cook dinner herself tonight.

Seeing the ramen that Han Yoon-sung brought out, Kwon Ji-yong sat at the table and raised an eyebrow knowingly.

In every life, Han Yunxing is a complete kitchen disaster, only capable of making the simplest dishes.

To make a good impression, Han Yunxing took several more plates filled with side dishes.

After dinner, it was completely dark.

Summer nights on Jeju Island are cool and breezy, with cicadas chirping in the treetops, bringing life to the tranquility.

With stars and the moon hanging in the sky, Han Yunxing felt a little like going for a walk.

The two changed into loose T-shirts and jeans, put on fisherman's hats, and went out under the moonlight.

The residential area extends outwards to a beach, where the waves crash against the sand at night with a somewhat turbulent force.

This is a private beach that is not open to anyone other than residents, and there are only a few people here now.

Han Yoon-sung and Kwon Ji-yong strolled along the coastline, enjoying the feeling of their feet sinking into the soft sand.

Seeing a few people playing with sparklers ahead, Han Yunxing felt a little tempted.

After gently bumping her shoulder against the arm of the person next to her, Han Yunxing jogged forward.

"Hello, where can I buy this sparkler?"

The young couple playing with fireworks looked at the exceptionally beautiful girl in front of them and readily gave Han Yunxing a bag of fireworks.

They didn't buy these from a nearby shop; they bought a lot specifically so they could have a great time.

Seeing that they really wouldn't accept money, Han Yunxing had no choice but to sincerely thank them again before taking the fairy wand and running towards Kwon Ji-yong.

In the darkness, the girl's figure was hazy. Her loose hem swayed gracefully in the wind, and her long hair, like a waterfall, danced in the breeze. Han Yunxing flew to Quan Zhilong like a butterfly.

"I met a kind person!" Han Yunxing smiled with satisfaction.

After opening the package, Han Yoon-sung very naturally spread her hands and reached out to Kwon Ji-yong's chest.

Kwon Ji-yong reached into his pocket and handed the lighter to Han Yoon-sung.

Han Yunxing lit the sparkler, and with a "sizzle," a stream of silvery flames poured out, illuminating the dark night before them.

Waving the fireworks in their hands, they twirled around happily.

Han Yoon-sung noticed that Kwon Ji-yong was taking a picture of her, so she turned her head to look at the camera, her smile as bright as fireworks.

The sparkler in her hand burned out quickly, and Han Yunxing leaned over to examine the photos.

The shooting style remains somewhat unique, with several finished photos exhibiting a hazy, beautiful quality. In the photos, a pair of beautiful eyes shine brightly in the night, and a sparkler illuminates the darkness, making the girl's smile even more genuine.

"Oppa, I'll take your picture too!"

Sensing Kwon Ji-yong's eagerness to play, Han Yoon-sung lit the remaining sparklers.

Kwon Ji-yong got playful, took the sparkler, and started waving it as he ran backward.

Han Yunxing picked up her phone and chased after him, feeling the soft sand kissing her feet.

Like childhood, it was pure joy.

Han Yunxing's camera was always pointed at the people in front of her.

"Yunxing na"

Kwon Ji-yong turned to look at the person behind him. He smiled gently, the corners of his mouth turned up, and his eyebrows revealed his pleasure.

"I'm really happy today..."

Han Yunxing tilted her head slightly, looking into the fireworks in the man's eyes. It was as if fireworks suddenly burst in the sky, and her heart was also shaken. A tingling sensation flowed through her blood and spread throughout her body.

The darkness made it difficult for Kwon Ji-yong to see the girl's slightly bewildered eyes clearly. He pulled Han Yoon-sung along as they ran on the beach.

The next day, Han Yunxing opened her eyes according to her biological clock.

Ahhh!

Han Yunxing rolled around on the bed, clutching her blanket, her little face flushed.

Han Yoon-sung felt like she was sick; how could she suddenly develop feelings for Kwon Ji-yong?

Sitting on the edge of the bed, I recalled uncertainly.

This guy is really good to himself...

But she's definitely not my ideal type...

It's totally like a sibling relationship...

Thinking about it this way, Han Yunxing's restless heart calmed down. Sure enough, the moonlight was too beautiful yesterday.

Kwon Ji-yong was leaning back on the sofa, originally watching a variety show.

But Han Yunxing was acting strangely today, constantly stealing glances at him from the side.

Kwon Ji-yong grinned and reached out a hand to pinch Han Yoon-sung's cheek: "Speak quickly if you have something to say."

Han Yunxing struggled with her hands, her mouth pursed and she mumbled indistinctly, "Ah... Kwon Ji-yong!"

"Call me Oppa, little duck!"

Kwon Ji-yong released his grip and saw that Han Yoon-sung's face was flushed red.

He's a super mean older brother!

Yesterday was all an illusion!

ah!

Han Yunxing glared angrily at Kwon Ji-yong and said fiercely.

"Where can you find such a beautiful duck!"

Han Yoon-sung's strange focus made Kwon Ji-yong laugh so hard he almost fell over.

He put his arm around the little girl's shoulder and coaxed her to come and watch TV with him.

Han Yoon-sung puffed out her cheeks and flung Kwon Ji-yong's hand off her shoulder as if she were disgusted, but she still climbed down the pole and watched the variety show on TV together.

Before long, the two people with low thresholds for laughter were laughing so hard they were doubled over.

In the afternoon, all the ingredients that Kwon Ji-yong ordered were delivered.

The group from +82 also arrived one after another.

Today is a beach barbecue.

After asking her aunt to prepare the ingredients and put them on the table, Han Yoon-sung greeted Kwon Ji-yong and his friends.

Some of these people had met Han Yunxing before, and they didn't feel uncomfortable around them.

However, after Sojoo arrived, Han Yoon-sung was pulled away by this older sister to chat.
