Chapter 3 Vacation

Chapter 3 Vacation

As soon as Han Yunxing pushed open the door, she heard a loud bang.

The girl let out a muffled groan, followed by rustling sounds coming from under the table.

This is a not-so-spacious dormitory room, and the air conditioning is very strong.

Under the warm yellow light, there were two bunk beds, and all three beds were made up. There were also several cute dolls on one of the beds.

Looking at the only empty bed left, Han Yunxing knew that she was the last member of this dormitory.

Below the chandelier was a long table, where the girls' cosmetics, skincare products, and other daily necessities took up a considerable amount of space, but were arranged fairly neatly.

Han Yunxing stared wide-eyed, somewhat horrified, at the tablecloth trembling, and then the two of them crawled out.

Yun Qi rubbed her forehead vigorously, and with her other hand, she pulled Jin Zhiyu up.

"Ouch...it hurts! Thank goodness it's unnie~" Yunqi's eyes flashed with a hint of guilt as she smiled ingratiatingly at Quan Shaoyan in front of her.

Yunqi has round, puppy-dog eyes with slightly drooping corners. She bumped her head, and her eyes turned slightly red. She was rubbing her forehead vigorously, and her hair was a bit messy, making her look both pitiful and somewhat funny.

Quan Shaoyan could tell at a glance that Yun Qi and Jin Zhiyu were secretly eating snacks.

She stepped forward with a hint of annoyance and tidied Yun Qi's hair, then introduced her to Han Yunxing: "Yunxing, this is Yun Qi and Jin Zhiyu. We'll be living together from now on~"

Yun Qi and Jin Zhiyu both looked at Han Yunxing. They had been too flustered just now, and Han Yunxing was standing behind Quan Shaoyan. They thought they were going to be discovered by the staff, so they didn't notice the person who came.

Looking at Han Yunxing in front of them, Yun Qi and Jin Zhiyu exchanged a somewhat excited glance.

My goodness, this must be the trainee who caused such a stir in the company today! He truly lives up to his reputation!

After bowing and exchanging greetings, the three of them enthusiastically helped Han Yunxing make the bed and even cleared space for the wardrobe and desk.

Han Yunxing's things are regularly replenished by someone. This time, when she came to stay at the company, she just casually brought some of her usual clothes from home.

Han Yunxing prefers casual and comfortable clothes. This time, apart from a few dresses, all she wore were short-sleeved shirts and pants suitable for practice.

After putting away their things, Han Yunxing was enthusiastically pulled aside by Yun Qi to chat.

Han Yunxing had a general understanding of her roommate's personality.

Jeon So-yeon is very strong and serious. Although she looks like a mature woman and can be a bit fierce when she's expressionless, she's surprisingly easy to talk to and has a gentle personality.

Kim Ji-woo has a gentle personality, doesn't talk much, is very quiet, and has the kind of pure look that Koreans love.

Yunqi has a very lively personality and can be described as the atmosphere-creating machine of the dormitory.

Han Yunxing's worries did not come true; her roommates seemed to be easy to get along with.

Yunqi asked Han Yunxing to sit next to her and started chatting about something casually.

Han Yunxing turned her head and saw Jeon So-yeon and Kim Ji-woo's big smiles, and was a little confused.

Yunqi gave her two older sisters a light snort, shook her head, and explained, "I'm planning to take the TOPIK exam recently, so you unnies are thinking that someone has finally come to their rescue!"

Han Yunxing chuckled and guessed, "Yun Qi, are you Chinese?"

"Correct!" Several people stared in surprise, their eyes widening. "Wow, I am indeed Chinese!"

Han Yunxing was amused by the "you're so amazing" look in the eyes of the person next to her. "Hello, Yunqi, I really like Chinese culture, so I taught myself Mandarin. Just now when you bumped your head, you subconsciously said 'Ouch' in Chinese~"

When Yunqi heard her fluent Mandarin, her eyes lit up, and she pounced on Han Yunxing, begging for a kiss.

"Unnie, your Chinese is amazing! We're just meant to be!"

Yun Qi wished she could take Han Yunxing directly to her home in Beijing so that she could experience the warmth and hospitality inherent in the Chinese people.

Quan Shaoyan and Jin Zhiyu looked at each other and both breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that Yun Qi had found a better study partner.

"Let's speak informally from now on."

She and Quan Shaoyan were the same age, while Yun Qi and Jin Zhiyu, who were only a year younger than her, had to use honorifics.

Although Han Yunxing accepted the hierarchical culture of this country, she still found it difficult to adapt.

Since we'll be spending every day together from now on, let's communicate more comfortably.

The weather in Seoul is getting hotter.

The month of training went by quickly.

The trainees are busy with the end-of-month assessments, but because she just joined the company, Han Yunxing is not participating in the assessments this time.

Although the training intensity was about the same during this period, Han Yunxing felt sorry for her roommates because she could feel their strong mental pressure of being eliminated. She took the initiative to feed them breakfast and received pats from Quan Shaoyan and Jin Zhiyu, as well as a big bear hug from Yun Qi.

However, it's worth celebrating that Kim Ji-woo and Yun-ki both joined them in the same practice room class, and the four of them were filled with anticipation for the future.

There's one more thing! I received the reward for Task Two—a vocal masterclass.

After reading the system manual for some time, Han Yunxing had a general understanding of the mechanism of this star-making system.

The fact that the star-making system is only an auxiliary system indicates that the host has a strong sense of initiative.

The tasks and rewards issued by the Star-Making System are all linked to the host's inner plans.

In addition to the initial task one, the system's reward is not to directly improve one's dance and vocal skills, but to find and specially integrate the most suitable training courses for the host from a massive database of information.

Furthermore, the success of the star-making system's plans is highly dependent on the host's learning level. Those who lack willpower or talent will not be able to get the star-making system to continue issuing tasks.

So, thousands of years later, after making its first fortune, this star-making system was widely criticized. Consumers accused the company that created the system of using the generous rewards for passing the test as a promotional gimmick, because almost no one could be recognized as a successful star by the system.

Han Yunxing was unaware of the rewards for successfully creating a star; she was now very interested in master vocal lessons.

This month of practice has given me confidence in my own abilities.

I am quite talented in vocals; my tone is nice and distinctive, like the gentle sunlight of spring—warm and vibrant, with great emotional expressiveness. It's a very warm voice. Unfortunately, I haven't practiced enough, my technique is lacking, and my control over high and low notes is inadequate.

In terms of dance, since switching from ballet to another dance style is not easy, Han Yunxing still needs to strengthen her practice. However, Han Yunxing has a solid foundation, and her learning ability and comprehension are extremely strong, which is the consensus of the company's teachers. Although they did not praise her directly, the admiration that the teachers occasionally showed in their eyes gave Han Yunxing some confidence.

Seeing that Han Yunxing was unusually lying in bed so early, Quan Shaoyan touched her forehead with concern and checked her temperature.

Han Yunxing rubbed her palm gently and said with a smile, "Shaoyan, I'm just a little tired from practice today~ I'm super excited for the party tomorrow, I was just too excited today."

Two heads also peeked out from behind Quan Shaoyan, receiving the affection of her three sisters. Han Yunxing closed her eyes as she deliberately softened her footsteps.

"Accept the reward for Mission Two"

Han Yunxing found herself in a bright vocal music classroom, with a piano in the center that gleamed under the lights, and a guitar in the corner.

Han Yunxing sat down on the high stool in front of the piano, looked at the gentle teacher in front of her, and began her lessons.

It was a very mysterious feeling. When Han Yunxing was woken up, he unconsciously touched his neck. That control over his voice seemed to have come into reality.

The vocal masterclass lived up to its name; it was indeed very rigorous, and I wonder how long the classes lasted.

Han Yunxing rubbed his head, and when he thought of how quickly his gentle teacher could change her expression, he would tremble.

I must take notes and review what happened after today's dinner!

Girls have many preparations before a get-together.

Han Yunxing braided her hair into two pigtails, paired with a white suspender dress and black leather shoes, and slung a Mori-style woven bag across her shoulder, admiring herself in the mirror.

The girl in the mirror simply applied some lip gloss, and her face was very plain.

Her cool and aloof demeanor comes from her delicate eyebrows and eyes, but she is still young and full of collagen. She is humming a song in a good mood, and her lips are shiny, making her look very charming.

Ah, I've grown taller recently!

Thinking of this, Han Yunxing couldn't help but show her dimples. In her previous life, she was born weak and her height was just 160cm. Now she was already 165cm!

Noticing Yunqi leaning closer, Han Yunxing grabbed her arm and shook it. "Yunqi, let me braid your hair."

Han Yunxing is very skillful. In her previous life, she worked as a makeup artist's assistant and earned a lot of extra money by braiding hair.

Pressed down into a chair, Yunqi said with a smile, "Then I want to have the same hairstyle as you, so we can look like good friends!"

By the time all four of them had finished cleaning up, it was almost lunchtime.

It was a bit hot in Seoul in July, but when the group went downstairs, there were still several fans waiting there.

Looking enviously at the eagerly waiting fans, Han Yunxing and her friends still didn't know when they would have their own fans.

Han Yunxing and her group walked out from the side, attracting little attention.

Seeing the doll keychain that had accidentally fallen to the ground, Han Yunxing observed the people around her and noticed that a young lady's crossbody bag had only one string that swayed with her movements.

Qiaoqiao saw a pair of jade-like hands carefully holding up the plush toys that had fallen to the ground at some point, and extending them in front of her.

"Be careful when you take your little one home~" Han Yunxing smiled sweetly, then seeing that Qiao Qiao was stunned and didn't react, she quickly said in English, "You dropped your doll, be careful!"

Qiaoqiao stared blankly as the little girl's face flushed red as she ran forward with small steps, her white skirt swaying with each step like a fluttering butterfly.

Ah! I'm totally blown away, is it a new trainee?!

After returning home, Qiao Qiao searched frantically for trainees on the Cube website, only to find, to her dismay, that there was absolutely no information available.

I occasionally went to Cube to wait for her, but I never ran into her again. I just felt like I had missed the chance to meet a beautiful woman.

But that's a story for later. Han Yunxing ran back to Yun Qi's side, and the others were laughing so hard at Han Yunxing's blushing face.

After spending a month together, they naturally knew that Han Yunxing blushed easily when she was shy, and sometimes they would tease her on purpose.

Yes, that's right. It's very satisfying to make Han Yunxing blush!

I happily checked in at the ginseng chicken soup restaurant recommended on Naver's list, then went shopping in Hongdae, and even took a four-grid photo of my life. My vacation time slipped away like sand through my fingers.

Back in her dorm and after reviewing her notes, Han Yunxing realized that she seemed to have forgotten something over the past month.

A note from the author:
