Chapter 69 (Bonus Chapter)
After singing "Happy Birthday," Han Yoon-sung and the other two ended their day's activities with a warm hug from Lee Joo-hyuk.
While waiting for the car, Lee Joo-hyuk mentioned a recent rumor: "It seems like Dami-nuna is in a relationship?"
Kwon Ji-yong nodded, his throat itching: "They said it was a relationship with marriage in mind."
The word "marriage" was pronounced very clearly.
God knows how shocked he was when he received the call from his parents after returning home. The child who was being pressured to get married suddenly had a flash marriage partner. Kwon Ji-yong immediately asked people in the industry who knew this future brother-in-law. After confirming that the other party had a good reputation, he left it to his own devices and waited for Kwon Da-mi to inform him.
Han Yunxing was chatting with Han Daoen about their trip to Thailand when she overheard Lee Joo-hyuk and Han Dae-eun's conversation. Her attention shifted, and she remarked, "So Dami unnie is in a relationship."
I ran into Kwon Da-mi and the other person near the company a while ago. Han Yoon-sung just said hello briefly and went back to practice.
They arrived in the car after only a few words of conversation. Lee Joo-hyuk and Kwon Ji-yong didn't live in the same area, so the driver took him home first, and the remaining three turned around and drove towards the residential area.
"iye's ban on cats has been lifted kk" Han Yunxing yawned delicately, then turned on her phone screen. It was almost 1 a.m.
Kwon Ji-yong, who had been seated in the passenger seat by Han Dao-en, turned his head and noticed Han Yoon-sung nodding his head. His eyes were filled with tenderness. He said softly, "Yes, I'll feed him when I get home."
Kwon Ji-yong reached out and put his hat on Han Yoon-sung's head, carefully adjusting the brim for her.
Han Yunxing's vision went dark, filled with an even dimmer light, and then, in a hazy state, she heard a familiar, low voice: "Babe, take a rest first."
"Um…"
Han Daoen was taken aback, but seeing his dozing sister, he didn't say anything and turned his head to look at the rapidly passing tree shadows outside the window, trying to avoid getting annoyed.
The car quieted down, with only the whooshing wind and the fading sound of horns. Soon the three of them arrived at the parking garage.
Han Daoen looked at Han Yunxing, who was fast asleep with her head pressed against the glass, and was at a loss. He moved his hand in mid-air but couldn't find a suitable position to wake Han Yunxing up.
Kwon Ji-yong got out of his seat, walked around to the back of the car, opened the door, and silently gestured to Han Do-eun to get out first.
Han Daoen: ? ? ?
The alcohol he drank a few hours ago seemed to be taking effect now, and his mind was automatically conjuring up images of Han Yoon-sung and Kwon Ji-yong leaving him behind to go out and have fun. The little dumpling that he had carefully held in his arms and proudly shown off to Kwon Ji-yong had been snatched away by Kwon Ji-yong in the blink of an eye.
My brother is useless now; he's not the first person Yunxing will bother anymore TT
Han Daoen became more and more disappointed. She glanced resentfully at the person standing at the car door and remained seated without moving.
Kwon Ji-yong's pupils contracted slightly as he was inexplicably glared at. Then, seeing the redness spreading in Han Dao-en's eyes, he turned his back to him.
Han Yunxing's slightly curled eyelashes trembled gently. After feeling the car stop moving, her consciousness gradually returned. When she opened her eyes, she met Han Daoen's slightly red eyes. Han Yunxing exclaimed softly, "Oppa, what's wrong?!"
Han Daoen looked at her without speaking. The sudden somber atmosphere made Han Yunxing wonder if she had missed something important during her short nap. She glanced slightly at the person behind Han Daoen.
Kwon Ji-yong received a questioning look from Han Yoon-sung and shrugged helplessly: This guy's thought process is beyond the comprehension of ordinary people.
Han Yunxing's eyes were so clear that Han Daoen reached out and pulled down the brim of her fisherman's hat: "Yunxing, did you have fun today?"
She nodded without hesitation.
"Would you still like to play with your brother in the future?"
Han Yunxing straightened her hat, finally able to see Han Daoen's expression clearly. She muttered in surprise, "Of course, what kind of talk is that? Hmm? Is Oppa drunk?"
The rest of the way, Kwon Ji-yong and Han Yoon-byul escorted Han Do-eun to the elevator, one on each side. Han Yoon-byul even accepted Han Do-eun's loving invitations from time to time: "Will you still like eating your cooking, brother? Would you still like to travel with me, brother? Would you still like to go for a medical check-up with me, brother?"...
Han Yunxing nodded repeatedly, like a chick pecking at rice, as if coaxing a child: "Yes, I'm willing to do all of this with Oppa~"
The elevator doors opened, and Han Daoen patted Han Yunxing on the shoulder: "Yunxing, are you willing...?"
"Yes!" Han Yunxing nodded reflexively.
"Would you like to help your brother see the guests off?"
Kwon Ji-yong chuckled, walked around the obstructive Han Do-eun, and went to Han Yoon-sung's side: "Goodnight, Yoon-sung." He took off the hat from Han Yoon-sung's head and put it back on his own, then reached out and ruffled her hair.
"Goodnight~" Han Yunxing smiled sweetly, and Kwon Jiyong couldn't help but want to hug her.
Then, the next moment, Han Daoen pushed him back into the elevator: "Brother, take care."
...
The door opened, and the dim light illuminated the room, blending seamlessly with the night. The thumping footsteps stopped in front of the cat tree.
Suddenly pulled out of the cat bed, Iye bobbed its head, its small body emitting a purring sound like a motorcycle starting up. Before it even opened its eyes, its tongue was already licking the cat treat that Kwon Ji-yong was holding.
Iye had a wonderful dream in which a cat sat on a high mountain, and delicious food would automatically jump into its mouth whenever it opened it.
