Chapter 30 Don’t fuck yourself up
Ning Yi lowered his head, his expression dark and unclear. I thought he would deny it, but he said calmly, "Yes, it's me."
Ren Yizi hugged Bai Mi tightly and stood up suddenly.
Seeing that the situation was not right, Ning Yi's younger brothers also surrounded him, ready to make a move, and some even showed their weapons, ready to stop Ren Yizi.
"Why! Do you treat my cat like this? If I hadn't saved you back then, would you still be standing here talking to me? You two-faced bastard!"
Ning Yi's younger brothers quickly gathered around and held Ren Yizi, whose eyes seemed to be spitting fire.
Ren Yizi has been struggling at the bottom for so many years and has fought countless fights, big and small. How could he be easily controlled by others?
He was seen holding the cat, swinging his arms, and quickly knocking down the thugs surrounding him.
However, he would not act rashly, as he was alone and weak, surrounded by Ning Yi's younger brothers.
Ren Yizi usually looked nonchalant and indifferent, but at this moment he stood there with a cold and expressionless face, his back as stiff as a pine tree, and a chill emanating from his whole body, just like a living demon who had fought his way out of the eighteen levels of hell.
The look he gave him would scare most people to the point of their legs going weak, and even the cat in his arms looked just as ferocious as him.
It seemed as if all the oxygen in the air had been sucked out, and Ning Yi's younger brothers couldn't help but secretly worry for themselves, fearing that Ren Yizi would explode in the next second.
Ning Yi didn't even look at Ren Yizi. Most of his face was immersed in the deep night, almost blending into it.
After what felt like an eternity, he slowly said, "Yes, I was the one who wanted to burn your cat. I was the one who betrayed you. I was jealous that you were the one she loved. She never even looked me in the eye, ever."
Ning Yi's gaze finally looked over and fixed on Ren Yizi's face.
Ren Yizi reacted, holding back his temper and asking, "Are you talking about Hang Lianqing? You're breaking up with me for a woman? I broke up with her eight hundred years ago! You could have gone after her, I have nothing to do with her anymore, why did you hurt my cat? Just because it knew you and didn't resist?"
No matter how heartbroken Ren Yizi was, he could not imagine that Bai Mi knew Ning Yi and must have run over, but Ning Yi, a beast who knew a person's appearance but not his heart, kicked her and instigated others to burn it with cigarette butts, and pretended not to know that he was the victim. If he did not know that in this school, only Ning Yi would smoke that kind of niche cigarette, he would have been fooled by Ning Yi's superb acting skills.
Ning Yi chuckled sinisterly, answering the question without paying attention to his own words, and continued to move closer to Ren Yizi: "You know what? A few months ago, I was in a bar with Hang Lianqing. She was drunk, so I took her back to the hotel and killed her. I thought she had long forgotten you and had accepted me... But when she was half drunk and half awake, the name she kept calling out was yours! Ren Yizi! Your name is like a curse to me!"
Before he could even finish his words, Ren Yizi rushed over and tried to punch him: "You bastard! Shameless thing! Hang Lianqing must have been blind to the idea of having a fait accompli with you, and you're still bragging about your intimacy with her!"
"Boss!" the younger brothers next to him shouted hurriedly.
Ning Yi shouted at the younger brothers who came to stop Ren Yizi, "Get out of here! This is between the two of us! No one should get involved! Otherwise, don't follow me anymore!"
The younger brothers were stunned. They had never seen Ning Yi with such an expression before, so they had to walk away one by one.
Some were worried and peeked at them from around the corner.
Then Ning Yi grabbed Ren Yizi's fist and whispered in his ear with a devilish smile, "It's a matter of our mutual consent. You're just her ex-boyfriend, you have no right to have an opinion. A bitch like her is now just a worn-out slut that I can kick out at any time when I'm tired of her. What's it to you to interfere?"
Ren Yizi felt like a deflated ball after hearing these words. He kept imagining the scene of his ex-girlfriend being toyed with by a man in his mind, and his heart was filled with pain and bitterness.
But soon, reason pulled him back, and he felt that his ex-girlfriend was just a public toilet that anyone could use. A self-deprecating slut who was not worth his protection: "Indeed, I broke up with her completely. What happened to her, who she was with, and whether she was ruined by some man, it really is none of my business."
Ning Yi nodded, took off his shirt and threw it on the ground, revealing his muscular body. It seemed that he was serious about it.
The two men soon started to wrestle with each other, their fists whistling past their cheeks.
They were of similar level and exchanged dozens of moves, but everyone runs out of energy eventually.
Ren Yizi took advantage of Ning Yi's inattention and suddenly attacked again: "I don't care what Hang Lianqing does, I'm beating you for my cat!"
They exchanged several moves at a speed so fast that it was invisible to the naked eye, but neither side gained any advantage and both were injured.
Ning Yi learned most of his moves from Ren Yizi in the early days. He knew very well what Ren Yizi would do next. He quickly seized the loophole and played a trick, but was suddenly grabbed by Bai Mi, and blood spurted out.
He was so angry that he wanted to kick the bad cat, but accidentally kicked Ren Yizi in the stomach.
In an instant, Ren Yizi's stomach was surging. He bit his tongue to swallow the screams, and glared at Ning Yi with hatred in his eyes.
Ning Yi quickly stopped upon seeing this. He had not expected that he would kick so hard. His original intention was just to follow the rules of the martial arts world and break up with Ren Yizi. He just wanted to injure a few unimportant parts of his body and consider it a breakup.
He opened his mouth helplessly: "I..."
Ren Yizi slowly propped himself up on the grass and sat down, talking about the quintessence of Chinese culture to Ning Yi: "You fucking..."
His voice became smaller and smaller. He was already furious after seeing a group of thugs hurting his cat after dinner. After the fight, he found out that Ning Yi was the mastermind. It was a terrible feeling to be betrayed by his brother of many years.
His already violent emotional fluctuations caused a dull pain in his stomach, and then he was kicked hard by Ning Yi.
Ren Yizi felt more and more as if invisible hands were squeezing his intestines like a wrung-out towel, and the smell of blood surged into his throat.
His forehead and back were soaked with cold sweat. He felt dizzy and fainted, falling to the grass.
Ning Yi was afraid of a trick and felt that his kick would not be enough to make an adult man with excellent physical fitness like Ren Yizi faint. But after a long time, he saw that the man on the ground was still motionless, and the white cats were surrounding him and meowing.
He realized something was wrong and shouted to his brothers who were watching from a distance, "Come quickly!" Just as he was about to go over, a figure flashed before his eyes.
The man appeared out of nowhere and kicked Ning Yi in the chest with lightning speed, like a huge rock. The power of that kick was definitely from a martial artist. Without more than ten years of practice, it would be impossible to kick with such force.
Ning Yi took several steps back and sat down on the grass. It felt like all the oxygen in his chest was squeezed out, causing him to feel pain.
After seeing who it was, he stammered, "Boss... I didn't mean to..."
Wen Siru didn't want to listen to his explanation at all. He immediately knelt on one knee beside Ren Yizi, checked his breath, and then secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
He laid Ren Yizi's body flat on the grass, looked at his pale face, and unbuttoned two buttons on the collar of his school uniform.
Ren Yizi's collarbone was exposed, and even under the dim night light, his skin was still dazzlingly white, with a slight redness.
Ning Yi used his eyes to signal his younger brothers not to come over, and tried to explain again: "Boss, I didn't mean to hurt him like this."
"What do you mean by making it like this? You originally wanted to take this opportunity to hurt him." Wen Siru raised his eyelids slightly, his voice as cold as ice. "Did I ask you to hurt him and his cat? You are purely pursuing your own selfish desires and revenge."
Wen Siru's eyes, like bottomless black holes, glared over, like millions of ice spikes chiseling towards Ning Yi. If they had turned into real objects, Ning Yi would have been turned into a hornet's nest.
Fear, along with the bleak moonlight, seeped into every pore of Ning Yi. He didn't dare to deny it, and kept gasping for breath while covering his chest.
Wen Si Ru ignored him and reached out to Bai Mi.
The man and the cat stared at each other for several minutes.
When Bai Mi saw him, the vigilance in its eyes was less than before, but it still observed Wen Si Ru vigilantly and still did not go over.

First People's Hospital.
VVIP room.
"The severe stomach pain may have caused vagus nerve dysfunction, leading to fainting. It must have been because his emotions were experiencing great fluctuations before he fell into a coma.
Otherwise, a single kick wouldn't have caused this. Don't worry, Master Wen." The doctor said to Wen Siru in an orderly and gentle manner.
"In other words, he fainted because of stomachache, not because of fighting?" Wen Si Ru asked.
"That's not the case. The fight was a minor factor. It was a combination of multiple issues that led to the fainting. He's fine now, but he's injured from the fight, so he needs to rest for a few days." The doctor pushed his glasses. "However, his stomach problem still needs to be taken seriously and treated as soon as possible."
"How long has his stomach problem lasted?" Wen Siru said, looking at Ren Yizi's still closed eyes.
"It's been a long time since I've had it. I'll have to remind him to eat on time and have a balanced diet."
The doctor gave some instructions for a while and then left.
There were two people standing next to Wen Siru. One of them, who was wearing a gold watch, asked, "Is that the person Young Master Ru was talking about?"
"Why are you pretending to be stupid?" Wen Siru said calmly, "Didn't you know this a long time ago? Why have you followed us so many times?"
Fei Yin smiled flatteringly: "I know. But how can it be the same as you admitting it yourself?"
"He's just so-so," said another man named Zhao Junran, standing next to Wen Siru. "He's okay-looking, but he's just a street urchin. But Brother Ru, I'm really curious. There are so many more talented and interesting people out there, why do you have to keep him so stubbornly?"
"Mind your own business. Don't ask questions you shouldn't ask," Wen Siru sat next to Ren Yizi, brushed the wet hair of the man lying there, and whispered, "He got away with it this time. I'm the one who let him down."
Fei Yin and Zhao Junran looked at each other and saw surprise in each other's eyes.
Outside the window, the night was deep and dark, with swaying shadows of trees. Only the sound of the wind whistling through the cracks made the ward seem even quieter.
Wen Siru turned around and saw that the two of them were still looking at him, and frowned: "You two go out first."
"Okay, okay, let's go," Zhao Junran immediately pulled Fei Yin out. When he reached the door, he suddenly looked over and said to Wen Siru, "I'm serious, don't fucking get yourself into trouble, ah~"
"Get out." Wen Siru said to him silently.
As soon as Zhao Junran closed the door and walked out into the corridor, he said to Fei Yin, "Doctor Fei, there's something really wrong with him."
"I think it's good. Young Master Ru has changed a lot. At least he's not like before..." Fei Yin stopped talking. He narrowed his eyes and looked at Zhao Junran, "But then again, I have to thank you for finding someone for him. This is the first time I've seen someone do good things with bad intentions.
It's just a pity for the person lying inside. I don't know if he can figure it out if he accidentally finds out the truth."
Zhao Junran glanced at the ward, "You!..."
His face twitched, but he couldn't say more to Fei Yin.
Fei Yin looked at Zhao Junran with a look of "What are you talking about?" and patted his shoulder: "I'm leaving first."
Zhao Junran was stunned for a few seconds before turning back to Fei Yin and saying, "You're a stalker, and you're not a good person either!"
Fei Yin waved his hand casually, and the golden watch on his wrist reflected light from time to time.
