Chapter 40 "Congratulations, you're an adult"

Chapter 40 "Congratulations, you're an adult"

"This is very normal in the UK. Gays can get married there." Wen Siru smiled faintly. He took Ren Yizi's hand and walked to the beach. This was the private beach of the Wen family. There were no outsiders, so the two of them didn't worry about being looked at strangely.

"Marriage? Can gays get married?" Ren Yizi was a little curious, and said with regret and sadness, "I want to marry you too..."

The waves rushed up one after another, reaching above their ankles and bringing a slight chill. They stepped on the fine, soft, wet sand, which sank a little with every step they took.

"Yes, we will definitely get married." Wen Siru looked at Ren Yizi gently and firmly. The sunlight shone on his eyes, and his pupils were clearer than the light blue jelly-like sea water beside him, flashing with tiny and fragmented shimmering light.

"That's what you said." The softest part of Ren Yizi's heart turned into a pool of water. He leaned over and kissed Wen Siru on the cheek.

-

In the evening, the two had dinner in the living room on the first floor of the villa.

Wen Siru asked the aunt and the chef to leave work first, leaving them some space alone.

The whole restaurant has a great atmosphere, with European retro candles burning like stars and a faint scent of incense lingering in the air. It is a romantic candlelight dinner.

Wen Siru was also very considerate and asked Ren Yizi to sit farther away from the candle flame, while he himself sat closer to the candle.

There were many luxurious seafoods on the huge dining table. Although Ren Yizi grew up on the coast, he had never even seen some of the seafoods, so naturally he couldn't tell what they were called.

Ren Yizi only picked out the ones he knew to eat. He took a few bites of the huge king crab legs and found the meat very tender and sweet. Then he took a spoon to stir up a piece of shark fin and took a few sips of the silky red wine and swallowed them happily.

Then he saw the geoduck on a nearby plate and was about to grab it, but he burst out laughing and couldn't even hold his chopsticks steady. "No, I swear I don't want to think about it that way, but this thing, it... it looks too damn like that. Is it a kind of nourishment that you can get from eating it?"

Wen Siru was breaking the meat of a large Australian lobster for Ren Yizi to eat. He followed his gaze and smiled, almost dropping the lobster meat on the ground. "Can you please eat properly?"

"There's nothing I can do. A man's small head has the same neurons as a big head. It's not my fault that there's yellow waste inside." Ren Yizi said as he ate the delicious and chewy lobster that Wen Siru fed him.

"If you think it's used to nourish your penis, then just eat some." Wen Si Ru continued to tease.

"I don't need that thing to enhance my virility." Ren Yizi refused righteously, as if he couldn't lose his dignity as a man. "I'm very strong, okay?"

"Okay, okay, you're very strong," Wen Siru agreed with him, a smile in his eyes. He picked up a piece of white and smooth fish meat and put it in front of Ren Yizi, "Do me a favor and have a piece of fish meat?"

Ren Yizi was a little hesitant. He didn't like eating fish, firstly because he was lazy, and secondly because he couldn't stand the fishy smell of fish. His rusty cooking skills couldn't do the chefs' way of completely removing the fishy smell. But today was Wen Si Ru's birthday, and he didn't want to spoil Wen Si Ru's interest.

Wen Siru saw through it, and he said calmly: "I know you don't like eating fish, but eating fish can improve your memory, and now is the critical period for using your brain.

I specifically asked the chef to cook this fish so that it only has large bones, no small ones. I'll pick them all out for you now. Oh, and there's still a fishy smell, so I asked the chef to add ginger to remove that, too."

A man who pays so much attention to details, who is both a father and a mother, is hard to find even with a lantern. Ren Yizi ate a mouthful of fish with a feeling of half being moved and half being sweet.

Sure enough, the taste of this fish is as delicate, silky, mellow and delicious as its appearance.

Ren Yizi then realized that it was not that he didn't like eating fish, but that he had never eaten such delicious fish and he didn't know how to cook it so deliciously.

He took a few more bites with his chopsticks, and seeing Wen Siru picking out the bones for him with his gloves, he couldn't bear it and took a chopstick to put the fish meat into his mouth and said, "Don't pick out the bones for me all the time, eat it too.

Oh, I remember I could ask the chef to remove the fish bones, so why is it your turn now?"

"I'm afraid they can't clean it properly, so why don't I pick out the thorns for you myself?" Wen Siru lowered his eyes and smiled slightly. He finally finished picking out the thorns and started eating with Ren Yizi.

The birthday cake was soon delivered to the door. When Ren Yizi went to pick it up, he exclaimed, "It's so big? And it's a strawberry cake!"

Wen Siru looked at him and said, "Well, you like to eat, don't you? Then eat more."

Ren Yizi blew a kiss to Wen Siru. Privately, he loved to eat all kinds of strawberry food, such as strawberry cake, milkshake, salad and milk tea, etc. However, such girly food was too inconsistent with his image. So since Wen Siru knew that he liked to eat strawberries, he always bought strawberry food and brought it back to the dormitory for him to eat.

Ren Yizi put the cake on the table and took out a picture of a hundred blessings from behind: "Happy birthday, dear."

Wen Si Ru took a closer look and saw that it was a picture frame composed of a hundred "Fu" characters written in various fonts. The gold-plated characters were set on a crimson background, neatly and squarely arranged together. The owner of the painting must have put a lot of thought into it, otherwise the gold dye would easily overflow.

"If you want to be happy forever, I'll give you one hundred "Fu" characters. The store owner also told me that I can choose ninety-nine of them to write, because there are taboos in some places, such as "the moon is full and then it wanes, and the water is full and then it overflows." I don't care about that.

I'm a materialist, so how could I be afraid of those feudal superstitions, ghosts, and monsters? So I want to give you a hundred full-length "Fu" characters. Actually, I want to give you an infinite number of "Fu" characters, so I secretly drew an "∞" on the largest one.

Ren Yizi pointed with his slender finger at the largest character "Fu" in the picture frame, and the "∞" sign next to it, and spoke eloquently.

Wen Siru looked at him carefully. Tonight, Ren Yizi secretly wore three metal earrings on his right ear, which sparkled with silver light. He also combed his hair to the side with styling spray, leaving a small tuft of hair on the right side, and sprinkled a lot of fine glitter on his hair. He definitely put a lot of thought into his hair.

His already handsome and three-dimensional face, after some tinkering, became even more handsome to the extreme. He looked unkempt and lazy, rebellious and sexy, and could make people fall in love with him at first sight.

Wen Siru has seen many top-level handsome guys, including celebrities and internet celebrities, but Ren Yizi has a unique temperament that those people cannot match.

"Thank you, I like this gift very much." Wen Si Ru suddenly hugged Ren Yizi and said very seriously.

His grip was so strong that it seemed as if he wanted to embed Ren Yizi into his body and become one with him.

Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, the night is hazy, the sea water rises and falls, seagulls fly and cry, and the lighthouse on the sea emits a faint light. The house is quiet, with only the sound of heartbeats and breathing, as if time has stopped at this moment.

Ren Yizi felt the warm affection and patted Wen Siru on the back: "Congratulations, baby. You are an adult now and can do whatever you want."

Ren Yizi opened the cake box, lit eighteen candles, and said, "Eighteen years old, so light eighteen."

Wen Siru smiled faintly: "What about a hundred years?"

"Then order a super big cake and get you a hundred candles."

"Haha, okay."

"Now, make a wish."

Wen Siru didn't hesitate at all, his eyes shining as he looked at Ren Yizi affectionately: "I hope you can stay by my side forever."

Ren Yizi had no time to stop him and quickly said, "Hey, didn't you say that wishes won't come true if you speak them out loud?"

Wen Siru raised his hand, dipped it in some cream, and scratched Ren Yizi's nose. "You are a materialist, so I will follow you and be a materialist. I don't believe in those gods and ghosts."

"Marry a chicken, follow the chicken; marry a dog, follow the dog, right?" Ren Yizi joked.

Wen Si Ru nodded happily.

They shared some cake and drank a bottle or two of red wine.

Ren Yizi, who seemed to have a good alcohol tolerance but actually got drunk after just one drink, couldn't hold back. He felt dizzy and light-headed, and his whole body was hot. He had no choice but to say, "I don't want to drink anymore. I'm going to take a shower first."

As he stood up, his feet felt like they were stepping on cotton. He used his hands to support the chair. Wen Siru quickly got up and supported him: "I'll drain the water for you."

Ren Yizi nodded in his brain and let Wen Siru support him. Wen Siru, who seemed to be a good boy who had a poor alcohol tolerance and could not drink a single sip of alcohol, remained sober even after drinking so much alcohol, and was even more stable and mature than usual.

Ren Yizi was led by Wen Siru in the elevator to the bathroom on the third floor. He sat on a stool and waited for Wen Siru to fill the bathtub with water, making a sound of splashing water.

When the water was almost full, Wen Siru felt the water temperature and found it was neither too hot nor too cold, so he turned back and said to him, "You can wash now."

Ren Yizi was about to take off his clothes, but he paused and stared at Wen Siru for a long moment. Seeing that Wen Siru had no intention of leaving, he smiled, his eyes blurred. "Why don't you leave? Do you want to take a bath with me?"

Wen Siru walked towards him and lifted his chin: "Brother, the birthday gift I want most is actually you... Is that okay?"

Ren Yizi grabbed Wen Siru's finger and took it into his mouth, sucking it slowly for a few times as if enjoying it, but his eyes kept meeting Wen Siru's. Ren Yizi's most attractive feature was his almond-shaped eyes, those narrow and long eyes that were slanted upwards and would make anyone who saw them fall in love. He bit the finger again and said vaguely without comment, "Happy adulthood."

Wen Siru leaned over and kissed Ren Yizi's forehead, nose, cheeks, and finally lips in turn. These dense kisses made Ren Yizi so confused and emotional that he could hardly breathe.

He responded to Wen Si Ru and put his arms around Wen Si Ru's neck.

Wen Siru pinched his thin waist and hugged him, and both of them had disordered breathing.

The next day, Wen Si Ru suggested going to the big balcony to watch the sunrise.

Ren Yizi thought it was romantic to watch the sunrise together, so he agreed, but he didn't want to sit on the beach chair at all, he just wanted to lie on it. Wen Siru brought him black gold abalone porridge and fed him, saying it was good for nourishing his body.
