Seeing that Shang Jingshu's emotions had calmed down a lot, Zhuang Zhimeng advised him, "We can wait for it. Grandpa Shang, you just need to stay firm in your beliefs!"
"Then I'll take Zhimeng's good wishes! Don't worry, I've figured it out, nothing is more important than living!"
"It's good that you understand! My grandfather also hopes that you can look forward. He asked me to tell you that he is still here for you!"
Shang Jingshu nodded.
Zhuang Zhimeng then said to Shang Jingshu, "My grandfather said he mailed some things to you. I'll pick them up for you when they arrive in a couple of days. He mailed them in my name because he was worried you might not receive them!"

Zhuang Zhimeng shook her head at Shang Jingshu, "No!"

"You two are getting engaged so soon? Have you already met each other's parents?"

An Qingbai looked at Zhuang Zhimeng affectionately before turning to Shang Jingshu and assuring him, "Grandpa Shang, don't worry, I will definitely treat Zhimeng well and won't treat her badly!"
Shang Jingshu saw the deep affection in An Qingbai's eyes for Zhuang Zhimeng and said to them, "Zhimeng, Qingbai, you must treat each other well. An Qingbai held Zhuang Zhimeng's hand and continued walking home.
An Qingbai and Zhuang Zhimeng thought it was dark and no one would see them, so they walked hand in hand. Unexpectedly, Bai Shuangxue, who couldn't sleep and came out for a walk, still saw them.
Bai Shuangxue didn't see Zhuang Zhimeng and An Qingbai come out of the cowshed; she only saw them holding hands. She felt heartbroken, knowing it was impossible but still unable to control her heart, always wanting to focus on An Qingbai. But now she told herself to let go and turned back into the house.
Neither Zhuang Zhimeng nor An Qingbai noticed anything and continued chatting.
"Zhizhi, did Grandpa Shang mean that his wife is no longer here?"
"Yes, we called Grandpa Shang's wife Grandma Song. When I was little, I would go to Grandpa Shang's house to play, and Grandma Song would always make delicious snacks for me. She was a very gentle person and was especially kind to us children. I remember that it was probably the year I was in junior high school when Grandma Song fell ill and passed away."
