An Qingbai glanced at Zhuang Zhimeng, and Zhuang Zhimeng nodded at him. He understood that Zhizhi had agreed.
"Mom and Dad, we are willing to take care of you in your old age. You can live with us when you get old!"
An Tanxiao and Shi Meiling were satisfied and smiled.
Shi Meiling looked at the eldest couple and comforted them.
"Eldest brother, you and your wife shouldn't overthink it. It's not that we look down on you, but this is our wish, your father's wish. We want to live with the third brother!"
An Qinghua can understand.
"Mother, don't worry, we understand. If you and Father want to stay with the third son, then go ahead. If you want to stay with us, you're welcome anytime!"
Shi Meiling and An Tanxiao had no objections and agreed.
Shi Meiling then looked at Old Man An.
"Uncle An, when we get old, we'll live with our third son. Do you think this arrangement is acceptable?"
Old Man An nodded in agreement.
"Sure, why not? There's no rule saying I can't live with my third son!"
Seeing that Old Man An had agreed, Shi Meiling had An Baogen write it down on the family division document.
An Baogen has already written it all down.
"Meiling, no problem, just sign your name and it will be valid!"
Shi Meiling wrote her name and pressed her fingerprint on the paper.
An Tanxiao also wrote his name and pressed his fingerprint.
Then each of the other family members had to sign and put their fingerprints on the document, and Zhuang Zhimeng was treated the same way.
Each branch of the family receives a copy of the family division document, which signifies the formal division of the family property.
Zhuang Zhimeng felt that dividing the family property was too troublesome. It gave her a headache and made her feel overwhelmed. Everything had to be clearly divided, which was a real hassle. She said goodbye to An Qingbai and went home. She probably didn't need to be there for the rest.
Back home, Zhuang Zhimeng sat down and rubbed her temples.
Hao Caiyun and Zhuang Xingzhou were puzzled. She was fine when she left, so why did she come back looking so listless? They asked her about it.
"Ya Ya, what's wrong with you?"
