All the cold dishes were served, and Zhuang Bingqian and his wife, along with Zhuang Xingzhou and his wife, and An Tanxiao and his wife, led Zhuang Zhimeng and An Qingbai to each table to offer toasts.
Zhuang Bingqian, holding his wine glass, spoke first.
"Fellow villagers, eat and drink to your heart's content! Make sure you eat and drink well. We won't say anything else, it's all in the wine! Cheers!"
Thank you again to all the villagers for attending their engagement banquet!
As soon as Zhuang Bingqian finished speaking, he downed the wine in his glass.
The people following behind him, each holding a wine glass, began to speak.

An Fugui got angrier and angrier when he got home, and there happened to be a broken bowl on the ground in the yard.

The loud bang startled Wang Jinfeng, who had just gotten up and was getting ready for work.
Seeing that it was her husband through the window, she quickly came out.

An Fugui snorted and went back into the house without saying a word.
Wang Jinfeng originally wanted to clean up the broken pieces of the bowl, but seeing that An Fugui was obviously angry, she knew her own husband was more important, so she quickly followed him into the house.
"What's wrong that made you so angry?"
An Fugui took a sip of water before telling Wang Jinfeng.
“An Laosan is having his engagement banquet today, but no one notified me. Nobody told me.”
They should at least have told me! They should have informed me whether I was going or not. But the banquet is already over and I still don't know anything!
Upon hearing this, Wang Jinfeng stood up and started to walk out.
"This won't do! I'm going to settle accounts with them! They didn't even bother to inform us! It's one thing for Shi Meiling not to come, but An Tanxiao didn't even tell us!"
An Fugui stopped her.
"Don't go! Don't forget that An Laosan's girlfriend is Zhuang Zhiqing. If she throws you out like a ball, I'm not going to save you!"
Besides, Zhuang's family is also there. Who could you possibly beat? A few of them could easily take you down!
Wang Jinfeng then awkwardly stopped in her tracks.

An Fugui countered with a question.
"If you don't care, what else can you do? Go find Lao Si and his wife to settle the score, but do you think you'll be in the right?"
If this gets taken to the brigade leader, they'll still say it's our fault. After all, we've severed ties with them, so it's understandable that they don't want to invite us!
