Zhuang Zhimeng thought to herself that it was fortunate she was young, otherwise she might have had dark circles under her eyes if she stayed up half the night.
I quickly looked in the mirror, and wow! I still looked so youthful and beautiful! Only then did I happily go to wash up.

An Zaimin was still chasing Zhang Zhiyuan and didn't even have time to respond to Zhuang Zhimeng's greeting to him.

Watching Zhang Zhiyuan and Accountant An run off one after the other, Zhuang Zhimeng thought to herself, "I'm so annoyed."

An Zaimin chased Zhang Zhiyuan for most of the village, all the way to the place where he went to work.

Without thinking much, An Qingbai reached out and grabbed Zhang Zhiyuan.
An Zaimin then walked over, panting heavily.
"You little bastard, try running again! You've been keeping me in check for so long!"
Zhang Zhiyuan struggled desperately, but An Qingbai's hands were like steel bars, and he couldn't break free no matter what he did.
He looked at Ahn Jae-min with a bitter expression.
"Uncle Zaimin, please make him let me go! I won't run away anymore, I'll go back with you, is that alright?"
An Zaimin personally came over, grabbed Zhang Zhiyuan by the back of his collar, and looked at An Qingbai.

An Zaimin glared at An Fugui.
"What's it to you what I do! I'll do whatever I want. You go back to work and stop worrying about me!"
After saying that, he ignored An Fugui and dragged Zhang Zhiyuan away.
An Fugui and An Zaimin only dared to whisper among themselves after they had walked far away.
"Tch! You make it sound like I'd love to meddle in your affairs! If you weren't the village accountant, I wouldn't even bother with you!"
At An Zaimin's house, An Xiuxiu was extremely restless, pacing back and forth in the room.
Thinking about how her father interrogated her yesterday about who the child's father was, she couldn't put her mind at ease, wondering if her father would make things difficult for Zhiyuan.

Zhang Zhiyuan rubbed the back of his neck.
He glanced at An Xiuxiu.
He noticed she was looking at him expectantly.
Zhang Zhiyuan cleared his throat.
"Sigh! I need to tell my family, it'll take at least a few days!"
An Zaimin gave him an ultimatum.
"I'm telling you, I'm giving you at most half a month, otherwise I'll definitely report you to the commune! Get out now! Until there's a result, I won't allow you to see each other!"
An Xiuxiu became anxious when she heard her father forbid them from seeing each other.
"father!"
It was rare for Ahn Jae-min to yell at his daughter.
"Shut up! Go back inside and reflect on your actions. I've spoiled you rotten!"
Seeing her father so angry, An Xiuxiu didn't dare to say anything. She glanced at Zhang Zhiyuan reluctantly and went back into the house.
Zhang Zhiyuan awkwardly bid farewell to An Zaimin.
