Chapter 199 Zhuang Zhimeng Treats Me to Noodles

Zhuang Zhimeng smiled.

"Hehe, as long as you think it tastes good, that's all that matters!"

Shi Meiling patted An Qinglin's arm.

"Fourth brother, go wash the dishes! You ate so many noodles from your sister Zhimeng, go help her with some chores!"

An Qinglin resignedly agreed.

"knew!"

Stack the five bowls together.

Just as she was about to go wash, she turned back and looked at Zhuang Zhimeng.

"Sister Zhimeng, where are you washing the dishes?"

An Qingbai stood up.

"Come on, Third Brother will take you to wash the dishes!"

Shi Meiling didn't stay long; she planned to go and sit with the old man for a while.

"Zhimeng, I'm going to keep your uncle company. Tell Qinglin to come and relieve us later!"

Zhuang Zhimeng felt a pang of sadness for Qinglin and nodded with a smile.

"Okay, Auntie, I'll tell Qinglin later!"

Shi Meiling waved and left Zhuang Zhimeng's house.

After washing the dishes, Qinglin asked Zhuang Zhimeng a question.

"Sister Zhimeng, where is my mother?"

Zhuang Zhimeng looked at Qinglin with sympathy.

"Auntie went to help Uncle look at the bricks, but she said you should go and replace them!"

An Qinglin pointed to himself.

"Really? Mother said I should go and replace them?"

Zhuang Zhimeng gave An Qinglin a very certain look.

"It couldn't be more true, that's what my aunt meant before she left!"

An Qingbai patted Qinglin on the shoulder reassuringly.

"Go! We believe in you! You'll definitely succeed in guarding the blue bricks!"

An Qinglin angrily slapped his third brother's hand away.

"Don't even try, Third Brother. You can't stop people, but I can?"

I can't even get a say in my own home, so who's going to talk to me outside? Don't blame me if they take all your bricks away!

An Qingbai then told Qinglin.

"Hey, Qinglin, why don't you think about this? You're really going to be the one guarding him? You're probably just keeping an eye on things so Dad can go to the outhouse or something!"

An Qinglin thought about it and felt relieved.

"I knew it! How could they possibly let me guard this place? The problem is, I'm the youngest in the family, and nobody gives me any face!"

"Then why don't you go and take a look?"

Qinglin nodded, then bid farewell to Zhuang Zhimeng.

"Sister Zhimeng, I'm going now."

"Alright, go ahead!"
