Chapter 239 Playing Chess and Mahjong

"I'll make you braised noodles. I'm quite good at this, and I'll let Xiao An try my cooking."

"Okay, then let's make braised noodles. Your braised noodles are really good."

Zhuang Zhimeng watched as her father and Qingbai started playing chess and sat down beside them to observe.

"Brother Qingbai, how good are you at chess? My dad is pretty good at it."

An Qingbai smiled sheepishly.

"I'm actually not very good at it. I only learned from my grandfather for a while when I was a child."

Zhuang Xingzhou even comforted his future son-in-law.

"It's okay, we'll just have some fun."

He lost the first game and looked at An Qingbai several times, still in disbelief.

"Xiao An, let's play another round. I'm not in the game, so this round doesn't count!"

Zhuang Zhimeng chuckled as she watched.

"Haha, Dad, you'd better get serious now. Brother Qingbai isn't someone to be underestimated!"

Zhuang Xingzhou abandoned his nonchalant attitude and began to concentrate on the game of chess.

An Qingbai was getting into the swing of things and subtly let his father-in-law win the second game.

Zhuang Zhimeng glanced at Qingbai with a sly smile.

"Haha, I'm the one with the fewest notes."

Hao Caiyun smiled as she looked at her daughter.

"It's true, Xiao An must have gone easy on you."

Zhuang Xingzhou removed all the paper strips from his face.

"Ha, I thought it was the three of you ganging up on me!"

Zhuang Xingzhou's words made all three of them laugh, and he had the most pieces of paper on his face.

Zhuang Xingzhou didn't forget to give An Qingbai instructions.

"Xiao An, it's too late. Don't go back and cause trouble. Just sleep in Jun Jun's room for the night!"

Before An Qingbai could reply, Hao Caiyun pulled her husband away.

"Alright, stop worrying about it."

Zhuang Zhimeng smiled and pointed to the sofa.

"Let's wait!"
