Seven people, three children, and two dogs—one car is enough.
We arrived in the county and went to our home in the county town.
There are still rooms available if everyone has a room. Once you've chosen your room, you can move in.
Before going to bed that night, Zhuang Zhimeng took out the hand warmer she had won and asked her partner about it.
"Ah Bo, do you want to put some on? The classroom must be really cold, these will keep you warm."
An Qingbai took it and looked at it.
"Should I just stick it on my body? I don't think I need to, I'm afraid I'll get too hot and sweat."
Zhuang Zhimeng thought so too.
"Forget it, I'll take a few over to Xiazi. You men are all strong enough, so you don't need to apply them."
Zhuang Zhimeng sent a few pieces to Jiang Yanxia.
"Xiazi, tomorrow morning, stick this on the outside of your innermost layer of clothing, and your whole body will be warm."
"Put one on your stomach, and one on each knee. Make sure they're firmly attached, or we'll think you're cheating."
Jiang Yanxia nodded.
"Okay, I understand. I'll put them on carefully."
Su Mengmeng picked it up out of curiosity and took a look.
"Boss, should I put one on too?"
"Brother Meng, you're pretty resistant to the cold, so you don't need to apply any patches."
I'm really worried that you men will sweat if you wear it.
"Okay, I won't put on the stickers. I'll just wear something thicker."
"Yes, it's appropriate to wear thicker clothes."
The classrooms all seemed to have broken windows; be prepared for your hands to freeze stiff if you take an exam inside.
After Zhuang Zhimeng finished speaking, she went back into the house, where the man had already warmed the bed for her.
Zhuang Zhimeng tucked the blankets around the two children before lifting the blankets from the couple and getting into bed herself.
The man instinctively put his arm around his wife.
"I put several IV bottles in our blankets."
We have nothing to keep warm, so we'll just have to make do with this.
"Yeah, you're warm, and we're not cold under the covers either. Do Mom and Dad have IV drips too?"
"Don't worry, I have ten IV bottles in one room."
"When I first got the IV bottle, I almost threw it away. I always thought it was useless, so I just left it there and didn't care about it."
It seems to be a decent temporary warm garment.
"Yeah, thank goodness my wife didn't throw me away back then, otherwise we'd be stuck hugging each other for warmth right now."
Zhuang Zhimeng yawned in her lover's arms.
"Honey, let's go to sleep."
"Okay, goodnight, wife."
The couple embraced and drifted off to sleep.
In the morning, Shi Meiling got up specially to make breakfast for the children.
With Zhuang Zhimeng around, there will never be a shortage of ingredients at home, no matter where we are.
When we arrived in the county town yesterday, Zhuang Zhimeng took the opportunity to put it in the car.
Everyone ate two eggs, as a wish for them to get a perfect score on their exams.
After checking what they needed to bring, the group prepared to leave for the exam.
Fatty and Nao Nao ran to their side and raised their chubby little hands.
"Keep it up, everyone."
The two little ones made everyone laugh.
Zhuang Zhimeng picked up her two sons and kissed them.
"You all stay home and listen to your grandparents, and don't go outside the house."
Fatty and Nao Nao both returned the kiss to their mother.
"We understand, Mom. Don't worry, we won't run away."
The fluffy ball came over and barked.
"Woof."
Zhuang Zhimeng smiled and stroked the fluffy ball.
"Okay, you and Yarn protect them well."
Zhuang Zhimeng put her two sons down, and the group prepared to go out.
Shi Meiling suddenly asked.
"Do you need us to pick you up?"
An Qingbai smiled and shook his head.
"Mom, you don't need to pick me up. The school isn't far from here. It's just a short walk."
"Okay, then we won't pick you up. I'll cook you a hot meal for lunch."
"good."
The five of them left their homes together and headed to the examination site.
Of the five, only Zhuang Zhimeng and Jiang Yanxia applied for liberal arts.
An Qingbai, Su Mengmeng, and An Qinglin all applied for science majors.
The five people were not at the same test center.
Zhuang Zhimeng told a few people.
"Let's meet at the main gate after the exam, and then go back together."
The other four nodded.
Before entering the school gate, the group checked everything again to make sure they hadn't missed anything before heading to their respective exam sites.
Zhuang Zhimeng sat in the examination room and looked around.
There were a few people in the exam hall who had bought her study materials, but no other acquaintances.
A female teacher came in shortly afterward, stood in front, and clapped her hands.
"Put away all your study materials and prepare for the exam."
The first subject is Chinese, and the exam lasts for two hours.
No one is allowed to cheat. Anyone caught cheating will be disqualified from the exam and the incident will be recorded in their file.
Everyone put away the documents, leaving only pens and draft paper.
The female teacher handed out the test papers as soon as the bell rang.
Zhuang Zhimeng glanced through the test paper after receiving it, got a general idea of what to expect, and then began to answer the questions seriously.
When the exam had been going on for almost an hour, a loud noise came from the exam room where Zhuang Zhimeng was taking the exam.
Thump!
All the candidates turned around and found that one candidate was so nervous that his forehead was covered in sweat in the middle of winter.
The chair he was sitting on was unstable, and he fell to the ground.
The female teacher quickly reminded her.
"Everyone else, continue answering the questions. Don't look at this."
The female teacher changed the student's chair.
"Continue answering the questions."
"Thank you, teacher. I was so nervous."
The female teacher gestured for the students to look at their exam papers.
Liu Dongliang wiped the sweat from his forehead and focused entirely on the exam.
Zhuang Zhimeng didn't look back once throughout the entire process; she focused intently on answering the questions.
