Zhuang Zhimeng shook her head.
"I'll only fish once more. Crayfish need to be processed before they taste good, and it takes a lot of time!"
Zhuang Zhimeng fished for crayfish once more and then stopped; she just wanted to experience catching crayfish herself.
She looked at the bucket and saw that there were about fifty crayfish, which weighed less than three pounds, not enough, so she simply added three pounds from the warehouse.
An Qingbai saw it and even asked her about it.
"Zhizhi, can the four of us finish all these crayfish? They must weigh more than five pounds! Wouldn't it be a waste if we left some?"
Zhuang Zhimeng smiled confidently.
"Heh, Qingbai, just you wait and see, there won't be a single crayfish left!"
After returning home, Zhuang Zhimeng took a large basin, placed it in the yard, and poured all the crayfish into it.
Then she took a few toothbrushes from the warehouse, handed one to An Qingbai, and demonstrated it to him.
"Brother Qingbai, use a toothbrush to scrub the crayfish first, just like I did!"
An Qingbai followed her example and picked up the crayfish to scrub them. At first, he wasn't used to it and his movements were slow, but after scrubbing a few, he became more skilled and his speed increased.
Zhuang Zhimeng and An Qingbai each grabbed a crayfish and scrubbed it.
When Jiang Yanxia and Su Mengmeng returned, they saw them sitting in the yard brushing something, so they went over to take a look.
When Zhuang Zhimeng saw them return, she told them directly without waiting for them to ask what they were doing.
"You two each take a toothbrush and do as we do, and we'll have something delicious to eat tonight!"
Upon hearing that it was delicious, Jiang Yanxia and Su Mengmeng quickly squatted down and joined the ranks of those eating crayfish.
Jiang Yanxia grabbed a crayfish, ready to follow their movements to start cleaning it, but she couldn't recognize it no matter how she looked at it.
"Zhimeng, what is this?"
Zhuang Zhimeng continued working, explaining to her.
"Crawfish, a type of shrimp, tastes incredibly delicious when cooked properly. There are several flavors available. Tonight, I plan to make several different flavors of crawfish, so delicious you'll want to gnaw the shells off!"
