Chapter 16 Stealing the Male Lead's Opportunity
Taking advantage of their distraction, Qin Suisui quickly stored the sandalwood into her spatial storage. Then, she picked up a withered wooden stick from the ground and shouted sharply, "Stop! What are you doing!"
Hearing the voice, the group looked towards Qin Suisui and, upon discovering it was a woman, burst into laughter: "Oh, playing the hero saving the damsel in distress?"

Zhou Zecheng was in so much pain in his stomach that he couldn't speak. He pointed to one of the rooms and then quickly clutched his stomach and rushed into the outhouse.
Su Yunyi had already gotten up and was sitting on the bed combing her hair. Hearing the noise outside, she quickly tiptoed out and saw Qin Suisui standing at the entrance of the educated youth settlement, her head covered in sweat.
"Oh! Sui Sui! It's so hot, why are you here? Come in quickly!"
Su Yunyi quickly pulled the person into her room. She wasn't short of money and wasn't used to sharing a room with someone else, so she paid a little extra and got a small, private room.
After bringing Qin Suisui inside, they poured her a glass of cold water and then took out a towel, soaked it in cold water, and used it to wipe Qin Suisui's face.
Qin Suisui had fair skin, and the midday sun was scorching, so even though she was wearing a hat, her face was still sunburned bright red.
Su Yunyi frowned, wiped her face, and then brought her a box of face cream: "Hurry up and wipe your face. How dare you go out in this heat? What if you get sunburned?"

She could only use the excuse of coming to the village to exchange vegetables with the villagers to investigate.
But most of the villagers were at work by then, and after wandering around for a long time, she didn't see a single hair. Instead, she was chased by a dog to the back of the village.
Qin Suisui's legs were practically sparking from all the kicking before she finally managed to shake off the dog. Panting, she parked the car at a spring at the foot of the mountain, intending to wash her face. But just as she crouched down, a familiar voice suddenly came from behind the tall grass:
"Mommy! Mommy! Are you alright? Waaaaah..."
Qin Suisui stood up, carefully parted the grass and peeked out, immediately spotting the little boy she had just rescued in the woods…
