Zhou Rui was filled with regret in the toilet stall when, to his surprise, He Muchen followed him into the toilet.
Zhou Rui pounded on each toilet stall door, his heart pounding with fear at the sound of the knocking.
I have a feeling something's going to happen; I wonder if my husband is going to beat me up.
He Muchen, standing behind the door, spoke coldly to Zhou Rui inside:
"Zhou Rui, you'd better open the door for me right now."
Zhou Rui obediently opened the door, her face still flushed, and dared not look directly at He Muchen.
He lowered his head, pretending nothing had happened, and said:
"Do you need this room? I'll come out and let you use it. I'll go to another one."
Before Zhou Rui could slip away, He Muchen grabbed him, pushed him inside, and locked the door behind him.
"What do you mean by 'I won't call you husband anymore'? What do you mean by that?"
He Muchen glared at him angrily. He didn't know why he wanted this brat to call him "husband," but when the brat said he wouldn't call him that anymore, he got even angrier.
Zhou Rui was so close to He Muchen that he was having some difficulty breathing, but... it seemed like his body really couldn't catch its breath.
He Muchen noticed that Zhou Rui seemed pale and breathing rapidly, something was wrong, and nervously put his arm around Zhou Rui's shoulder.
"What's wrong? Do you have asthma? Do you have any medication with you?"
Seeing that he didn't answer, He Muchen started rummaging in his pockets.
Finally, he found the asthma medication in Zhou Rui's pants pocket and caught him tightly as he was about to collapse.
"The medicine has been found, take a puff."
Seeing that Zhou Rui's complexion had improved, they opened the door they had just locked to let in some fresh air.
Why didn't you say you had asthma sooner?
Zhou Rui finally caught his breath and thought to himself, "How would I know what this body is like?"
I've only been in this body for less than a few hours, and I don't even know what this body looks like, so how would I know if it has asthma?
"Why aren't you saying anything? Are you still feeling unwell? Maybe you should go to the hospital to get it checked out."
Seeing that Zhou Rui hadn't responded for a long time, He Muchen was afraid that he hadn't recovered yet.
He Muchen put his arm around Zhou Rui's shoulder and said, "Let's go, I'll take you to the hospital to get checked out."
Zhou Rui almost screamed when he saw He Muchen hugging him, but fortunately his body didn't allow him to get too excited right now.
"I'm fine, I don't need to go to the hospital. I'll just rest for a bit and I'll be alright," Zhou Rui said, blushing as he looked down.
"Really, are you alright? Don't let your illness flare up again."
He Muchen was still a little worried, so he took out his phone and called his driver.
"Hey, wait for me in the parking lot, I'll be down in a bit," He Muchen said into the phone.
"Let's go to the hospital."
"No need, really no need, I'm feeling better now."
He Muchen said coldly, "Do you want me to carry you over?"
Zhou Rui was startled by He Muchen's sudden words:
"Ah, no."
Before he could finish speaking, his feet were already airborne. He could no longer control himself and screamed.
"ah..."
"If you yell again, I'll throw you out that window. You're too noisy."
Zhou Rui blushed and shut his mouth, letting He Muchen hold him.
She was thrilled: what good luck she had to be held by her husband! His embrace smelled so good, but it seemed like she was getting dizzy and short of breath after smelling it for a while.
He Muchen took Zhou Rui to the hospital, where it was discovered that the asthma was triggered by the fragrance emanating from He Muchen.
Zhou Rui sat awkwardly to the side, feeling remorseful: How could this body not like the scent of her husband's perfume? She was so weak-willed.
He Muchen learned that Zhou Rui's asthma was triggered by the scent of his perfume.
Feeling a little guilty, I took off my coat and threw it directly into the trash can next to me.
She smelled herself to see if she still had that scent, and only dared to sit down near Zhou Rui when she noticed that her perfume had faded a bit.
"Try to avoid allergens in the future, so you don't have another attack. I might not be there for you then."
Zhou Rui nodded obediently, looking at him: "Honey... no, He Muchen, where's your coat?"
"Throw it away!" He Muchen said with a disdainful look.
"What? You just threw your coat away? Why? Is it because I can't stand the smell? But clothes can be dry-cleaned and the smell will go away."
Zhou Rui lowered his head, feeling extremely guilty.
Before Zhou Rui came here, he was raised by his grandparents and his family was not well-off.
He didn't have that much money to chase after celebrities at first. He really liked He Muchen, which is why he worked so hard to earn and save money.
"I've already thrown it away, and besides, I never really liked that jacket anyway."
Zhou Rui lowered his head and muttered to himself:
"If you don't like it, you can sell it and donate the money to charity in impoverished mountain areas."
"Oh, I didn't realize you were so kind-hearted! Why don't you donate some?" He Muchen teased.
"Who said I didn't donate? I donate some money to left-behind children in impoverished mountainous areas every year."
Zhou Rui said confidently, "It's just that it's not the identity I have now."
He lowered his head dejectedly and said, "Although I haven't donated much, I donate every year."
He Muchen looked at Zhou Rui, who had his head down, and didn't know what to say. It was as if he had really done something wrong and offended this brat.
He Muchen said in a low voice, "Let's go, I can't stay here too long."
Zhou Rui hummed in agreement, got up and walked behind him, gazing at the star he had always been chasing.
