"Okay!" Seeing Gu Ye smoothing the cement with a scraper, Jiang Yue called Ningning out to help push the pebbles in.
"It's so fun!" Ningning carefully pressed a pebble into the cement. When she looked up, she saw her father and mother looking at each other. She didn't know what they were laughing at, and no one was listening to her.
Ningning sniffed and felt there seemed to be a hint of sweetness in the air.
The cobblestone path was paved, and there was still more than half a sack of pebbles left.
