Commander Jiang was standing at the door. Jiang Yue was crying and laughing in the ward. Gu Ye's focused eyes never left her face. He wisely chose not to go in at this time and cause trouble.

Gu Ye took a sip and turned his head, "I don't want to drink porridge, I want to eat the meal you made!"
His voice was still hoarse, but it was much better than when he first woke up.
Jiang Yue sighed in her heart. Why did Gu Ye become so hypocritical after being injured? He still needed her to coax him. However, she said gently, "I'll do it for you when you feel better!"
Gu Ye ate half a bowl of rice porridge soup, and Jiang Yue closed the lid of the lunch box.

"You just woke up. You should eat small meals frequently, otherwise your stomach won't be able to take it!" Jiang Yue said, then stood up and took out the washbasin from behind the door.
Gu Ye stared at Jiang Yue as she took out a towel and put it in the basin, then picked up the thermos and poured water into the basin.
Jiang Yue reached out to test the water temperature. The hot water in the thermos was filled last night and had been left overnight, so it was not as hot as when it was just boiled. She put her hand in and it was just right, neither too hot nor too cold.
Jiang Yue closed the door first, then picked up the washbasin and placed it on the bedside table.
Gu Ye originally thought Jiang Yue was going to wash her face, but he found that she wrung out the water from the towel and started to wipe his face.
Gu Ye could accept wiping his face, but after Jiang Yue wiped his face and neck, she actually lifted the quilt.
