For two consecutive days, Gu Ye went out early and came back late. He left before Jiang Yue got up and came back in the middle of the night.
If Jiang Yue hadn't seen the changed clothes when she woke up in the morning, she wouldn't have known Gu Ye had come back.
It’s not like Jiang Yue hadn’t waited for Gu Ye before, but last night, she waited until midnight and still didn’t see Gu Ye. She couldn’t hold on any longer and fell asleep.
This made Jiang Yue very annoyed. She could feel that Gu Ye was obviously avoiding her.
She also vaguely felt that what was troubling Gu Ye might be related to her, but Jiang Yue thought about it over and over again, but couldn't figure out what she had done.

"Is your team leader here?" Jiang Yue asked.
"Here, here!" Xue Hongliang turned around and led Jiang Yue upstairs, asking curiously, "What delicious food did sister-in-law bring to Gu Tuan today? Are there any crayfish?"
"No, I haven't seen it for sale recently. When I see it someday, I'll make it and treat you guys to it!" Jiang Yue would naturally not hesitate to do something that could win people's hearts with a meal of crayfish.
"Okay! I'll be waiting for it!" Xue Hongliang began to drool unconsciously when he thought of the taste of spicy crayfish.
Before he even reached the door of Gu Ye's office, Xue Hongliang's loud voice began to call out: "Gu Tuan, Gu Tuan, look who's here!"
When Gu Ye heard Xue Hongliang's voice, he turned his head to look, but was visibly stunned when he saw Jiang Yue appear at the door.
Jiang Yue tied her hair into a bun today, and wore a short-sleeved shirt with a pine green collar, brown shorts, and a pair of white leather sandals. She was already fair-skinned and pretty, and this outfit made her look even more youthful and beautiful. Her skin was white as snow, and she didn't get tanned at all in the hot summer. Instead, she looked like she was glowing.
Not only Gu Ye was stunned, but several other people in the office also stared with their eyes wide open.
Jiang Yue didn't expect there were so many people in Gu Ye's office. Her eyes swept across Gu Ye's face and looked at several men who were obviously older than Gu Ye. She recognized one of them as Captain Xu. His family had come to her store a few days ago to buy clothes for their children.
"The sister-in-law is here to bring food to Captain Gu. Captain Gu is so lucky!" Captain Xu took the lead in making a noise.
"What delicious food did my sister-in-law make today? I heard from Captain Gu that my sister-in-law's cooking is especially delicious. When can we have a taste of her cooking?" Captain Wang said with a smile.
"It's just some home-cooked dishes. I'll make crayfish in a few days. You all can come and try it!" Although Jiang Yue was talking to several battalion commanders, he was always keeping an eye on Gu Ye out of the corner of his eye.
Since she came in, Gu Ye had been looking down at the documents in his hands, except for a glance when he first saw her.
"Then it's settled!" Captain Xu had heard from Xue Hongliang and others that the spicy crabs made by Gu Tuan's wife were particularly delicious, and he had always wanted to try it. Today, Jiang Yue took the initiative to bring it up, so how could he refuse?
"Then we won't disturb Gu Tuan from eating! Let's go!"
In a flash, everyone in the office left. Xue Hongliang put the lunch bag on the table near the door and left, closing the door considerately before leaving.
When Jiang Yue and Gu Ye were the only two people left in the office, Jiang Yue picked up the lunch bag, stared at Gu Ye intently, walked up to him step by step, and put the lunch bag on the table.
Gu Ye looked up and saw Jiang Yue looking at him with her arms folded. His dark eyes flashed and he pretended to be calm and pulled the corner of his mouth, "Why are you looking at me like that?"
Jiang Yue gritted her teeth and narrowed her eyes, "Gu Ye, why are you hiding from me?"
Gu Ye paused holding the pen, and a hint of darkness flashed in his eyes, but his face remained calm. "Don't think too much! I'm not hiding from you!"
Jiang Yue was angered by Gu Ye's calm expression, "You still say you're not hiding from me? Then why don't you go home? Gu Ye, don't you want to see me? If you don't want to see me, I'll just leave. Why do you have to hide from me all day long as if I did something evil?"
Seeing Jiang Yue angry, Gu Ye tightened his lips, stood up, looked at her and said, "I've been really busy these days, and it's my fault for not telling you. I'll try to go home early tonight! You go back first!"
Jiang Yue stared at Gu Ye, feeling a chill in her heart. She had thought of many possibilities before coming here, but she didn't expect Gu Ye to be so calm and say that he was wrong while driving her away.
