"How long has it been since Gu Ye came back?" Sister Zhao frowned.
"Not long..." Jiang Yue lowered her eyes and took another bite of the chive box. When she opened her eyelids, she saw Sister Zhao looking at her and smiled, "Don't worry, Sister Zhao, he will come back when he wants to!"
Sister Zhao couldn't help but sigh, "I'm afraid you'll be wronged!"
Jiang Yue smiled and said, "Sister-in-law, I'm not wronged!"
At nine o'clock in the morning, Gu Ye walked to the door of his house and heard Ning Ning's laughter coming from inside, "Mom, throw it to me, I can catch it!"
"Okay, Ningning, go on!"
When Gu Ye pushed open the gate, he saw Jiang Yue throwing a rubber ball to Ning Ning. Ning Ning stared at the ball and ran towards it, reaching out to catch it, but just as she was about to touch the ball, it bounced away.
Jiang Yue smiled and comforted Ningning, "It's much better than last time. Ningning can now touch the ball."
Ningning was running after the bouncy ball, and Jiang Yue suddenly felt someone watching her from behind. When she turned around, she met Gu Ye's gloomy and sharp gaze.
At that time, Jiang Yue still had a bright smile on her face, and her big eyes were sparkling, but the moment she saw Gu Ye, the light in her eyes slowly dimmed. Although she was still smiling, the smile had obviously faded.
