Gu Ye seemed to have just realized that he had not yet introduced Jiang Yue. His eyes narrowed slightly, and he first said to the old couple: "Uncle, Auntie, this is my wife, Jiang Yue."

Jiang Yue held Ningning's hand and walked towards the family compound. After walking for a distance, she looked back and saw Gu Ye and the old couple and the other two still standing there. The old couple and the man were looking at them.

Ning Ning quickly took out a few fruit candies from her pocket, "But I didn't eat them!"

A few days ago, Ningning complained of toothache, and Gu Ye took a flashlight and found a small black spot on her upper teeth. Later, the two took Ningning to see a dentist, who confirmed that the small black spot was caries. After returning, Jiang Yue tried to let Ningning eat less candy.

How could a child resist the temptation of candy? Jiang Yue would seize candy from Ningning's pocket every now and then, and he could only try his best to remind Ningning to rinse her mouth after eating the candy.

After returning home, Jiang Yue tied on an apron and went into the kitchen. When she went out, she put a pot of stew on the coal stove and simmered it on low heat. When she opened the lid of the pot, the heat and aroma rushed towards her.
Gu Ye came back half an hour later. At that time, Jiang Yue was sitting by the stove holding Ning Ning, warming themselves by the fire and playing with a rope.
Gu Ye stood at the kitchen window. From his angle, he could see that the firewood in the stove was burning very vigorously, with crackling sounds from time to time. The flames made Jiang Yue and Ning Ning's faces red.
