Chapter 103 Seeking Justice

The next morning.

The jury members published yesterday's judging results on the website.

Because the review process for universities is a highly valued matter, everyone paid close attention to it as soon as the announcement was released.

Even before the appointed time arrived, many students and teachers had already shared the relevant links and viewing instructions on their social media.

The scores were officially released at 8:00 AM.

Countless people flooded the website instantly to check the scores.

The first thing they saw when they clicked in was that Kyoto University was firmly in first place.

And it achieved a high score of 100.35.

In other words, out of a total of 100 points, the Kyoto University score exceeded the maximum possible score.

This has never happened before.

This means that one project received unanimous approval from the judging panel and achieved a score exceeding the maximum possible score.

Second place went to Tsinghua University with 96 points.

Actually, this score is very high for other schools, but Kyoto University currently ranks ahead with a score of 100.35.

In the past, the scores of these two schools were very close, sometimes only a fraction of a point apart.

The difference is so great now that it has left everyone feeling quite emotional.

I was thinking, when did Tsinghua University become so far behind Kyoto University?

Because every detail, except the total score, is clearly stated in terms of its corresponding point value, students can't help but click to see why Kyoto University received such a high score.

When they went inside, they discovered that someone had given the food and beverage section a score of 15 out of 10.

Moreover, because this person's score was relatively high, the average total score was actually higher than the full score.

This category is undoubtedly the food and beverage industry.

In other words, Kyoto University's cafeteria received full marks from all the members of the judging panel, with one even giving it an incredible score of 15.

The students at Kyoto University were all thrilled when they saw it.

"Haha, you guessed right, it really was Senior Lu Rong's cafeteria that gave us the points."

"Yesterday I saw the members of the judging panel eating in the cafeteria. They were all wolfing down their food, so I knew our school was guaranteed a spot this year."

"Don't you guys remember? Yesterday, after the judges' leader, Teacher Wang, finished eating Senior Lu Rong's roast duck, he couldn't help but yell in the cafeteria. We all heard it."

"Oh, is that so? I hadn't eaten yet at the time, so I had no idea."

“I saw it too. At first, I thought something had happened, but later I found out it was because the roast duck was so delicious that even though I had already gotten a meal, I cleverly went to the window with the roast duck and got another one.”

"I have to say, Lu Rong's roast duck is really delicious. I ate it once and I still crave it. Although the other dishes are also good, the roast duck is definitely the best."

"You upstairs don't understand. I used to think that roast duck was the best, but now I think the best thing is the grilled squid from the night market stall last night. Anyway, I went and ate it, and I think it's even better than roast duck."

"I had forgotten if you hadn't mentioned it. Senior Lu Rong and his friends also opened a late-night snack stall. I definitely have to go tonight."

"Really? Then I definitely have to go try it tonight. I can't miss such a great opportunity."

The students in Kyoto were discussing it happily.

After all, they have a strong sense of collective honor, and now that Kyoto University has won first place in this university evaluation, their joy is beyond words.

Clearly, the biggest credit for all of this belongs to Lu Rong's cafeteria.

Without Lu Rong's cafeteria, my score might not have been as high as that of Tsinghua University.

Just think back to when Yang Fan and his team were running the business; the difference is enormous.

Lu Rong claimed that he took over the cafeteria and made a profit the very next day.

If it were still the old Yang Fan era, he would be practically half-dead.

Currently, the main problem Huaqing University is lacking is its cafeteria.

Many judges only gave it nine points, which makes the average score seem rather low.

Of course, the people most concerned about all of this are the university leaders of Kyoto University.

They are currently anxiously watching from inside the conference room.

When I saw that Kyoto University ranked first in the score rankings, I couldn't contain my excitement at all.

Zhang Weiguo went even further, jumping up on the spot.

Although he has a large belly and is quite obese, it doesn't stop him from jumping 20 centimeters high at 170 pounds.

Everyone was cheering enthusiastically, as if to say that all of this had not been in vain, and that Kyoto University was indeed the best.

In contrast, Tsinghua University was quite disappointed.

The students, in particular, expressed their dissatisfaction upon seeing these scores.

"I strongly suspect that Kyoto University pulled some strings; it's impossible for the difference to be that much."

"That's right. Everyone can see how good the food is in our Tsinghua University cafeteria. Many students from surrounding schools come here to eat, but look at how many of them go to Kyoto University."

“I once ate at the Kyoto University cafeteria, and the food was really just average. It was far inferior to what we eat at our school. I don’t understand why the judging panel gave them such a high score, even higher than a perfect score.”

"What else can I say? They must have bribed someone. Our school is pretty honest; we didn't bribe anyone, so we didn't get a perfect score."
