Chapter 151 Trapped Together

Blood Fiend hurriedly swung his weapon to defend himself. The blades clashed, producing a piercing sound, and Blood Fiend was forced to cough up blood by the internal force.

Su An was anxious and stepped between the two, shouting, "Stop fighting! The secret passage is about to collapse. Let's get out first, or we'll all die here!"

Just as he finished speaking, a sudden "rumbling" sound rang out, and countless pieces of gravel fell down. In an instant, the light source went out, and the dust and smoke choked people so much that they couldn't open their eyes.

"Blood Fiend, stop!" Feng Chunlian also hurriedly stopped Blood Fiend, knowing that this was not the time to fight.

"The exit is blocked! Everyone, follow me and let's hide in the secret room!"

With that, he led everyone and ran towards the rear.

Su An covered her mouth and nose, unable to discern the exit, and could only quickly follow Fu Zhun.

The secret room where everyone hid was hidden deep in the secret passage. The space was not very large, and could accommodate about forty or fifty people.

The walls were made of rough stones, and there were some baskets in the corners filled with water and dry food that could be stored for a long time. At first glance, it looked like an underground shelter.

Upon seeing the grain, Su An understood that the Blood Lotus Sect had long ago prepared a way out for being purged, and would hide in the tunnels to avoid danger if things went wrong.

Unfortunately, there wasn't much food, just enough to feed a dozen or so people for a month.

"You dog prince, who told you to come along? Get out!" Before Xue Sha could catch his breath, he looked at Fu Zhun and the others behind Su An and immediately blocked Feng Chunlian's way with hostility.

"Girl, come here! Don't hang out with this scoundrel! Our Blood Lotus Sect will protect you!"

There was nothing wrong at first, but upon hearing these words, Fu Zhun's eyes suddenly turned icy, and he unconsciously tightened his grip on Su An's hand.

"If you want to die, I'll grant your wish right now!"

In an instant, the atmosphere inside the secret passage became increasingly tense, as if it were the dead of winter.

"Damn it, you dare to act so arrogantly after entering our lair!"

Xue Sha was so angry that his face turned ashen. He grabbed the weapon, but Feng Chunlian quickly stopped him.

"You are an elder now, how can you act so impulsively? We are all trapped here, and killing each other will only lead us all to our doom!"

Besides, they are seeking peace; it would be a loss to continue offending the prince!

Su An also gripped Fu Zhun's arm tightly, gritting her teeth with a hint of exasperation: "Stop fighting! We have to find a way out, or we'll all be trapped here and die!"

How come this man, who usually seems so calm and aloof, is acting like a reckless fool now!

However, the two still couldn't stand each other, their eyes meeting in the air as if sparks were about to fly.

After being persuaded by both Feng Chunlian and one of them, they could only coldly give up and temporarily cease hostilities.

"Oh dear! What a mess this is!"

Su An, on the verge of tears, found a corner to sit down, her hand still tightly gripping the corner of Fu Zhun's robe to prevent him from suddenly losing control.

"Fu Zhun, you should also take a rest..."

Before I could finish speaking, I suddenly felt a weight on my shoulder and heard slightly disordered and rapid breathing in my ear.

"Fu Zhun?" Su An turned her head in surprise. Fu Zhun leaned slightly against her side, his tightly pursed thin lips and slightly furrowed sword-like eyebrows revealing his restraint.

Su An was startled and looked down to see that Fu Zhun's shoulder and back were stained with blood that had not yet dried, a shocking sight.

"You...you're injured? You got hit by a rock?"

Su An was momentarily at a loss. Just as he was about to check the situation, his hands were stopped and held down.

The two soldiers they brought stood guard in front of the two men, temporarily isolating them from the Blood Lotus Sect's menacing gaze.

But Fu Zhun was still worried and said in a hoarse voice, "Don't give anything away. I'm fine. I'm just exhausted and need to rest for a while."

Su An was taken aback, then understood the implication.

If the Blood Lotus Sect members found out that Fu Zhun was injured, they would probably gang up on him and even threaten him!

Her heart tightened slightly. Although she knew that the Blood Lotus Sect was not inherently bad, they had done heinous things in order to survive, so it was inevitable that they would change their tune and harbor evil thoughts.

No gambling!

Thinking of this, Su An nodded solemnly: "Okay, you can sleep peacefully. I will stay here and watch over you."

Sensing the tension and worry in her words, Fu Zhun's pale lips curled slightly, and he slowly closed his eyes.

The torches on the wall flickered with a faint light, casting shadows throughout the secret room, where dust and an uneasy atmosphere filled the air.

Neither side let their guard down.

Noticing the unusual silence on Su An's end, Xue Sha frowned, guessing what was going on.

He quietly gestured for a few people to get up.

Upon hearing the faint sound of approaching footsteps, Su An immediately raised her head alertly.

Xue Sha slowly approached with several of his men, his eyes filled with hatred as he stared intently at Fu Zhun.

"Move aside, I want to see how he is."

These words were spoken to the two soldiers guarding him, and he threateningly ordered his men to surround them.

The two soldiers looked grim. They exchanged a glance and resolutely stood in their place: "Your Highness is resting. No one is allowed to approach. Anyone who does will be treated as a traitor."

"Ha, traitors! We just wanted to survive, and now we've been called traitors by you officials!"

These words enraged Xue Sha, further solidifying his suspicions, and he suddenly drew his weapon.

"Get your prince out to negotiate, or it'll be a fight to the death!"

The two soldiers didn't speak, but their hands instantly went to the swords at their waists, and tensions rose.

"Wait a minute." A slightly tired, hoarse voice came from behind.

"Elder, the prince is too tired and has fallen asleep. Let's talk about it after he wakes up. Anyway, none of us can leave for the time being, can we?"

Su An made no move, seemingly resting against Fu Zhun, but in reality, she subtly protected Fu Zhun with her body, and her voice sounded normal.

"Is that so..." Blood Fiend's eyes flickered, and he brandished his knife with a forced smile. "Little girl, this elder has been more than kind to you, yet you lied to me!"

"Let's do it!"

The moment he finished speaking, several Blood Lotus Sect subordinates pounced on the two soldiers like hungry tigers. With their numbers and strength, they quickly subdued the soldiers, rendering them unable to move.

Seeing Xue Sha walk forward with a slightly ferocious expression, Su Anxin's heart jumped into her throat, and she tightly protected Fu Zhun with her hands.

"What do you want to do—ah!"

Blood Fiend showed no mercy and yanked her away roughly.

Without support, Fu Zhun collapsed to the ground, the dim candlelight illuminating his pale, bloodless face.

"He really is injured and unconscious! Hahaha, this is what they call 'the wicked get their just desserts,' he deserves it!" Xue Sha laughed triumphantly and arrogantly, raising his hand to grab Fu Zhun viciously.

"Quickly, arrest that dog prince! Then we won't have to worry anymore!"

"Don't touch him!" Su An gritted his teeth and rushed forward in a panic, while his pleading eyes hurriedly turned to Feng Chunlian.

"Master, don't forget what we discussed. The Prince will definitely help you, but if you resort to violence now, the nature of the matter will change!"
