The group spent a full three hours in the studio, shooting several gigabytes of footage, which they planned to edit properly when they got back.

When Li Ning arrived, he saw Xu Milu preparing to start cooking, and he gestured with his phone.
"Little aunt, I've transferred the money for the grapes to you."
Xu Milu rolled her eyes and pretended to be angry, saying:
"Who are you insulting? You call me 'Little Martial Aunt,' and I have to pay for a few grapes? I have thirty acres of land, and this whole vineyard of grapes is not for sale. It's reserved specifically to give away. I don't know anyone else, but I have grapes from several of my fellow disciples. What's the big deal about you eating a few of my grapes?"
Li Ning chuckled and said, "We felt a little embarrassed because we were eating and taking things with us."
"Come on, you're still being polite with me. But you're the one who brought these duck parts over, so I guess I shouldn't eat them either?"
Xu Milu is very easygoing now. If she used to be so stingy with every penny, now she can be very open and generous.
Before Li Ning could speak, Xu Milu suddenly lifted the pot lid, and a plume of hot, white smoke hit him directly in the face.
A burst of intensely spicy heat hit him, and Li Ning immediately felt a rush of saliva in his throat. As soon as he opened his mouth, a long drool dripped down the corner of his mouth.
"Laugh, laugh, Sigu—"
Seeing that things were going badly, Xu Milu quickly pulled him away. She hadn't expected the pot to be so potent, locking in all the flavors of chili peppers and spices. Li Ning was standing downwind, and as soon as the pot was opened, the numbing and spicy aroma that had been building up for three hours hit his face.
"Little aunt, slurp, what did you cook? Slurp, what is this? I can't feel it. Slurp, it's half my face—"
Li Ning held his face in his hands, his expression filled with terror.
