Chapter 115 What a strange person!

Without hesitation, Xu Milu upgraded the storage compartments and the dimensional gene analysis function. The light blue system panel refreshed slightly, and the black text reappeared.

[Do you want to perform a dimensional jump?]

New dimensional coordinates also mean new opportunities and risks.

Strangely, there was no timeout indicator in this dimension; only a pale blue jump button was quietly lit up.

If it were the Xu Milu of the past, she might have thought about it, but after so many adventures, she asked herself, would she go back to that ordinary and boring life?

Working day after day, that's not living, that's just surviving.

Without a second thought, she changed into a lighter windbreaker and sneakers, and tucked the dagger with the handle that Sunny had given her into her bosom.

To test the time flow between the two worlds, Xu Milu turned on her phone's camera, pointed it at the alarm clock on her bedside table, and the moment she tapped the camera, she selected dimensional jump.

...

...

After a slight dizziness, Xu Milu slowly opened her eyes.

"cracking--"

"Flap flap—"

The birds in the bushes fluttered away at the sudden noise, casting shadows on her face.

A blazing sun hung high in the sky, the sky was clear and blue.

If she hadn't been certain that she had arrived in a new dimension, Xu Milu would have thought she was still on Earth.

While spring was just beginning to appear in Ningcheng, with willow buds yet to fully sprout, this place was already lush and verdant.

It seemed to be the height of summer, and she landed on a mountainside. Looking out, there was a deep forest, a vast expanse of blue, with wild animals running around and birds singing.

Tall, sturdy pine trees reach for the sky, while low-lying dodder climbs along the branches. Clumps of wild grass, taller than knee-high, and various wild vegetables grow on the ground.

Further away, wisps of smoke could be vaguely seen rising from chimneys, suggesting that people lived there.

Many wild vegetables on the ground resemble native species on Earth in both shape and color.

Xu Milu's gaze fell on a clump of wild grass whose leaves resembled cow tongues and from which several grass whips grew.

[Plantago asiatica: Non-toxic, also known as plantain, is an annual or biennial herb that grows along roadsides, field ridges, and ditches. It is sweet and cold in nature and has diuretic, heat-clearing, and vision-improving effects, among others.]

The upgraded bioinformatics atlas seems much more intelligent, with explanations that are more in line with Xu Milu's comprehension.

She immediately squatted down, broke off a piece, and sniffed it. The pale green sap stained her fingertips, carrying a faint fragrance of grass and trees.

"It really is plantain!"

Xu Milu was somewhat surprised. After testing several times, she discovered that many plant species directly overlapped with those on Earth. The existence of the same plant species at least indicates that the biological environment of this plane is very similar to that of Earth.

Next, we will test the time flow rate on both sides.

Xu Milu looked around and saw no one. In the desolate mountains and wilderness, there were only traces of wild animals moving through the forest, and even wild cranes flying in the deep mountains. She simply took out her old cell phone that she had discarded before, tied it to an inconspicuous tree branch, pointed it at herself, and then chose to return.

Back in the room, the minute hand on the alarm clock remained in its original position, and the timer on the camera had just started counting down.

"Wait a minute, I was there for at least a minute, so why didn't time pass on Earth?"

Xu Milu frowned, finding it extremely strange.

To verify her suspicions, she waited in the room for a full half hour before choosing to jump between dimensions again.

The scenery was still familiar; the sun's position in the sky hadn't changed, and the old phone was still securely tied to the tree branch with the camera still on.

In the video, Xu Milu did not disappear; she just seemed to pause slightly before reappearing off-camera, so fast that the camera couldn't capture her.

"Could it be that when I am in dimension A, time in dimension B stops for me, and similarly, time in dimension A stops for me when I come to dimension B?"

Xu Milu held her breath.

Wouldn't that give her twice as much time as others? Or even more?!

To continue verifying the results, Xu Milu tested it several times, even trying to enter a new dimension from the food dimension, but the results were always the same.

Time in dimension B seems to have stopped, or rather, the dimension jump system takes her to the point in time she left, so it looks as if time has stopped flowing in both directions.

"Or... how about we go and see the world first?"

Xu Milu was somewhat tempted, but then suddenly remembered something and returned to Earth. When she came back, she had a backpack on her shoulder and a clown turtle that had gotten fatter after the New Year.

"Gah—"

Ah Chou was somewhat displeased at being suddenly woken up, and slightly raised her head.

"Let's go, I'll show you this dimension that's similar to Earth!"

Xu Milu tightened her backpack, took a deep breath, and strode towards the source of the cooking smoke.
