Chapter 127 [Post-Apocalyptic Reconstruction] Three Questions

The violent explosion startled the troops on the ground, and countless people looked up to witness this horrifying scene:

Suddenly, a burning fire dragon appeared in the originally dark black sky, extending from the top floor of the burned-down research institute into the clouds.

The next second, the sky suddenly lit up, illuminating the entire cloud layer. A golden-red flame lit up half the sky, and two fire dragons intertwined and tore each other apart, soaring straight into the sky!

"What is that! A fighter jet?!"

"Look! The sky is on fire!!"

"Oh my god! What is that?! Is the end of the world coming?!"

"The sky... is on fire!"

People screamed in terror, and even the mutated animals and plants that had been rampant on the ground seemed to sense something, screeching as they fled the city. Like thunder, several muffled explosions ripped through the sky, and golden-red fireballs continued to fall.

Within the clouds, two phoenixes, one large and one small, are locked in a fierce battle.

The smaller phoenix looked somewhat immature, with a single golden-red feather on its head. It had a delicate body, a bright red pointed beak, and its entire body was covered in colorful feathers. Its magnificent and long tail feathers floated in mid-air, bringing with them a colorful glow.

The larger one was covered in an ominous black and red color, with one wing broken off. Its long black tail feathers burned in the air, and its whole body was covered in dark red flames. There was a viscous black light behind it. Instead of any auspiciousness, it gave people a sense of evil.

There are no tricks, it's purely a battle of flesh against flesh, a battle of blood against blood.

You tear off a feather from me, I'll bite off half your leg; we'll fight to the death, sparing no effort.

At first, the larger black phoenix, being more experienced, tore off several exquisite phoenix feathers in succession.

"cracking!!"

But gradually, the old phoenix, with its missing arm, fell into a disadvantageous position. With a sharp cry, it turned and fled back into the base.

"Yo! Yo!"

The golden-red phoenixes cried out crisply, relentlessly pursuing the enemy. One large and one small transformed into two shadows, one black and one red, and landed in the base one after the other.

The phoenix was none other than Xu Milu. This was the first time she had used her full strength since advancing in rank. Although she was injured, the exhilaration she felt was incomparable.

She plunged into the base with the black light, giving Lavinia no chance to catch her breath—if he escaped this time, who knows how many more lives would be lost.

"Run! A meteorite is falling!"

"Aaaaaah! Help!"

"Run to the underground bunker! Don't panic!"

The base's inhabitants seemed to mistake the flames from their fight for a meteorite impact, screaming and fleeing toward the air-raid shelter. However, this made it easier for Xu Milu to attack without any restraint.

"boom!!"

The tall building snapped in half, heavy cement fell, and the flying dust obscured Xu Milu's vision. But she ignored the collapsed building and instead kept her eyes glued to the black shadow, chasing it all the way to a silver-white building.

In the center of the building, a spiral elevator climbs upwards, the long and deep corridor is pitch black, and countless screens that are turned off face to face with Xu Milu, like eyes.

Xu Milu's face darkened slightly, and I cursed the other party for being a cunning old fox.

If Lavinia had fled elsewhere, he might not have been able to escape, but this was a sanatorium, where fifty percent of the people in the entire base were waiting for prosthetic transplants. He blended in like a drop of ink into the ocean.

"Click...click".

The entire building lost power due to the emergency, and every screen went dark. The brains in the rooms were like diaphragms, relying on emergency power to stay alive. In the dimly lit corridor, only her own footsteps could be heard.

In the darkness, these electronic screens seemed to come alive, staring at her intently.

Xu Milu felt the sparrow bone in her hand tremble slightly. She gently curled her lips, pretended not to notice, and continued walking upstairs.

"Whoosh—"

"Whoosh—"

"Whoosh—"

"Whoosh—"

Just as she approached one of the electronic screens, the entire building suddenly came back to light, and every electronic screen on every floor lit up at the same time, with gray-white snowflakes jumping around. Lavinia's figure appeared in the snowflakes.

He looked disheveled; his usually proud long hair was a mess, his face was covered in bruises, blood was at the corner of his mouth, and the prosthetic arm on his right arm was missing.

"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!"

"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!"

"Don't forget who gave you a second life. Without me, you would still be a tiny insect worrying about money!"

He had lost all his former superiority and arrogance, looking as pathetic as a stray dog: "Whatever you want, I'll give you! I can give you inexhaustible wealth!"

Xu Milu shook her head at one of the screens: "I already have more money than I can spend, so it doesn't tempt me at all."

Lavinia immediately added:

"Then I will grant you eternal and endless life! If the Ars race has no lineage, the newborn Ars cannot undergo rebirth, and your life will only last for a short period of a few hundred thousand years!"

Xu Milu continued to shake her head: "I have eaten the peaches of immortality, which has already increased my lifespan considerably. Tens of thousands of years of life is too long for me. I do not need the method of Nirvana."

"Dimensional jumper! I can give you the remaining fragments of the dimensional jumper, as well as the dimensional coordinates I've cultivated for half my life. I can give you all of that, as long as you let me leave!"

Lavinia realized that Xu Milu was no longer the little fledgling he used to be, and if he didn't think of a way to deal with her today, he would definitely die here!
