Chapter 14 Do you believe me if I say it's a conditioned reflex?

"Why are you in such a hurry?! I don't believe she'd let the fruit rot in this heat!"

Wang Gang threw his cigarette butt on the ground and ground it, then said with smug confidence:

"I did work for Boss Zhao before, but people need to eat. I can't just stop making money because of Boss Zhao, can I?"

To his surprise, Xu Milu waved her phone at him, revealing the chat history, and smiled slightly:

"No need, I've already contacted another driver. The rental fee plus labor for loading and unloading will be a total of one thousand. The driver can arrive within half an hour, so I won't delay your earnings."

"How can you do business like this?!"

Xiao Wang suddenly became anxious, stood up abruptly, his 1.8-meter height resembling a small mountain:

"If you had given us 1,500 earlier, we would have started moving. It was your own fault for not wanting to, so why are you looking for someone else?!"

Xu Milu looked at him with a strange expression:

"When your dad was asking for an exorbitant price, you didn't try to stop him, but now you're all anxious? I'm just looking for someone temporarily, so why can't I pay a thousand? Nobody's money grows on trees, why should I give you money? Do I look like a god of wealth or a sucker?"

"Since we've already brought our car, you can leave if you want, but you have to pay for the gas, five hundred."

Wang Gang also stood up, walked behind Xiao Wang, and said meaningfully, with a hint of threat in his voice:

"Young lady, don't do things for the sake of momentary pleasure. We already know the location of your school's warehouse... Young people should know when to quit while they're ahead."

The sense of oppression emanating from two burly adult men is undeniable; even a single adult man would feel threatened.

Xu Milu, however, was not afraid at all.

After returning from the Gourmet World, her strength grew day by day, and once she even accidentally bent a steel pipe.

If these two, father and son, have any bad intentions, she might not be the one to suffer.

"My driver will be here soon. You can stay if you want. There are security cameras inside and outside my warehouse. If you dare to do anything wrong, I will call the police. I'll just be two more free gatekeepers."

Xu Milu shrugged, a smile on her face, but her words struck a nerve with the father and son:

"I don't mind giving you free publicity. How do you do business? You make money by being friendly, right?"

Wang Gang's face turned ashen, regretting that he had misjudged her. He had originally thought that the girl was shy and easy to talk to, and that he might be able to take advantage of her. But the girl was completely unyielding, as stubborn as a mule.

Wang Gang stopped Xiao Wang, who was about to say something, and gave Xu Milu a deep look, his face grim:

"You have to be flexible in business, young lady..."

He took two steps forward and reached out to snatch the front door key from Xu Milu's hand: "We're not leaving today unless you pay us! It's quite convenient for us to stay here."

It's obvious they're going to rob it.

Xu Milu wasn't afraid. She slapped Wang Gang's arm with her backhand, making a very crisp sound.

"Smack!"

"You dare to hit my dad?! You think you're so great?!"

Xiao Wang raised his hand to pinch Xu Milu's face, his expression fierce and menacing.

Seeing the other party's stance, Xu Milu panicked a bit and subconsciously raised her foot to kick, but she forgot that her strength had recently increased. She kicked Xiao Wang hard in the thigh, and the next moment, Xiao Wang flew straight out like a deflated balloon!

Xu Milu was stunned.

Wang Gang was also dumbfounded.

Xiao Wang was also stunned, unsure whether he was dazed from the fall or frightened; his eyes were somewhat vacant.

He really "flew" out; he didn't even touch Xu Milu's hand, and somehow he was already several meters away.

Xiao Wang came to his senses, clutching his buttocks and crying out in pain, while still swearing:

"Ouch...ouch...you ****..."

"It hurts! It hurts!"

"You wait, you wait until I get up!! You son of a bitch..."

On Wang Gang's arm, where Xu Milu had slapped him, a bright red handprint was prominently displayed.

"You hit me?!"

Wang Gang clutched his arm, wincing in pain. His arm felt burning hot, as if it had been smeared with chili water.

He hadn't realized what had just happened, thinking it was just a coincidence, and kept squeezing closer to Xu Milu, shouting loudly:

"Pay up! If you don't pay up today, this isn't over!"

Someone suddenly approached, and Xu Milu raised her hand again, her elbow slamming hard into the other person's chin. As if by reflex, after the elbow strike, she crouched down and delivered a perfect sweeping leg kick to Wang Gang!

"Thump!"

The father and son, Lao Wang and Xiao Wang, were lying together now, perfectly aligned.

Two streams of blood spurted from Wang Gang's nostrils, one on the left and one on the right, one higher and one lower, making him look quite comical.

He seemed to have bitten his tongue, his speech was slurred, and his face was tilted to the side, making it difficult to understand what he was saying. He had completely lost his earlier imposing manner.

"You, you hit me... Ugh... Call the police!"

Xu Milu hadn't expected these two to be as fragile as paper, falling over with a single push. She also hadn't expected her own conditioned reflexes to be so terrifying; those movements were as if they had been practiced a thousand times and were etched into her bones.

She pointed to the surveillance camera not far away and said:

"I'm calling the police right now. There's CCTV footage anyway. Let the police see who started it. You extorted money first, then robbed me. This is self-defense. Let's see who's in the right then and there!"

As she spoke, she moved closer, a half-smile on her face, and said, "Do you want me to help you up?"

Wang Gang's right cheek was swollen like a steamed bun, and he dared not let Xu Milu get close to him. He tried to help himself up with Xiao Wang, but he stumbled a few steps towards Xu Milu because he stood up too quickly.

"Thump!"

Another sweeping leg kick.

Xu Milu herself hadn't even reacted yet, still frozen in her previous pose with a bewildered expression:

"Would you believe me if I said it was a conditioned reflex?"

Little Wang rolled over on the ground, got up, limped, and dragged his father away, looking as if he'd seen a ghost.

They started the fight first, so even if they call the police, they won't be in the right.

Besides, if we stay any longer, we might lose our lives!

You're a trained fighter, why didn't you say so earlier?!

He looks so tall and thin, how come he's Ultraman?!

Conditioned reflex?

You're kidding me!

The large truck roared as it sped out of the warehouse area, leaving behind a gray-black trail that resembled the faces of the defeated Wang family father and son as they fled.

Xu Milu blinked, stared at her fair palms for a long time, and suddenly felt that violence could sometimes solve some problems.
