The next morning, Xu Milu arrived at the tavern entrance at the agreed time, but Fanny was already waiting there. Upon seeing her, the little girl excitedly ran towards her.
"Lord Qingluan!!"
She seemed to have forgotten that she was still shackled and almost tripped over the chains. Xu Milu quickly took a few steps to catch her, only to find that Fanny was still holding a large green leaf.

Fanny looked up at Xu Milu, her eyes filled with anticipation:

Xu Milu noticed that Fanny's calves were covered with fine, dense scratches, as if they had been scratched by bushes.
She looked up at the sky; it was only just dawn. There weren't many places in the city where the berries grew, which meant that Fanny had gone to the forest south of the city early in the morning to pick these fresh berries.
"Because Lady Qingluan is very powerful, she drove away the bad guys for Fanny and even let Fanny eat white bread, so Fanny also wants to share the food with Lady Qingluan!"
Fanny excitedly tiptoed and warmly invited Xu Milu to try the small berries.

The window was pushed open from the inside, startling a flock of birds perched by the window. The sound of their flapping wings filled the air. A man sitting in a lounge chair spoke with a smile:

The man who opened the window turned around, and sunlight streamed in beside him, casting a large shadow on his face.
