Xu Milu drove her car, but instead of heading straight out of the city, she floored the accelerator. The zombies in her path became excited and chased after the moving "monster" in front of them recklessly.
By the time she caught up with Boss Zhu's flying vehicle, a long line of zombies had already followed behind the RV, clinging to it like cats that had caught a whiff of blood.
Xu Milu glanced at the rearview mirror and saw all sorts of bizarre zombies: a spider-like zombie with a big belly, a tall zombie with long legs, and a zombie with its head split into seven pieces and covered in countless sharp teeth, all relentlessly chasing after her.
Sitting in the passenger seat, Su He held Dou Dou tightly, gripping the seatbelt and refusing to let go. Although her face was pale with fright, she still didn't make a sound to disturb Xu Mi Lu.
"Xiao Qi, how many people are on the aircraft?"
[Seven people, each carrying an electromagnetic weapon.]
"That's good, I didn't come to the wrong person."
Xu Milu sneered, made a hand seal and chanted an incantation. A gust of wind rose from the ground, directly overturning the entire aircraft with a loud crashing sound.
"boom!!!"
The bus-like aircraft suddenly crashed, its airbags deployed, and everyone inside was ejected.
"Fuck!!! Hit them!!"
Just moments ago, Boss Zhu was celebrating his victory, but he never expected to be ambushed the next second. Instinctively, he raised the electromagnetic gun in his hand to attack:
"Beat them!"
But before he could react, Xu Milu stepped on the gas again and drifted around the corner beautifully. The zombies, attracted by the engine sound, swarmed forward!
"Aaaaaah! Boss, save me!!"
"Die! Die!!"
Before the blond-haired guy could even crawl out of the airbag and draw his gun, he was blown to the head by the arriving spider zombie. The red and white liquid splattered everywhere like a shower of flowers.
"My supplies!!"
Boss Zhu, unwilling to give up, tried to salvage the compressed food trapped in the fire, but a zombie bit his calf. Just as he was about to raise his gun to retaliate, a beam of blue light pierced through his heart—
He turned his head with difficulty and glanced back. The last thing he saw before losing consciousness was his subordinate holding an electromagnetic gun.
All ambitions and aspirations to dominate the apocalypse are nothing compared to the current desire to live.
"boom!"
Zhu Laoda fell to the ground, and countless zombies swarmed over him, frantically gnawing at his flesh and blood, causing flesh to fly everywhere, a truly gruesome sight.
"Run!! Forget about it!"
The subordinate roared angrily, firing his electromagnetic gun incessantly, then turned and climbed onto a barely usable single-person flying vehicle, finally escaping with his life.
Others were not so lucky. Some had their throats bitten off by the surging zombies, while others had their hearts pierced by spider-like zombies and were left hanging high up to be devoured. The blood on the ground further stimulated the zombies in the shadows, and for a time the entire square almost became a zombie gathering place.
"Hehehe!"
"Hehehehe!!"
The RV that sped away left only a dashing departing silhouette and a left hand sticking out of the window—Xu Milu making an international friendliness gesture.
...
...
Xu Milu truly felt that since activating her phoenix bloodline, she had become increasingly unrestrained in her actions. If she used to only hold grudges, now she would take revenge on the spot, and she would not let a grudge linger overnight.
While others believe in "a gentleman takes revenge even after ten years," she doesn't want to endure even a second longer.
A moment of patience brings peace, but taking a step back only makes you angrier.
She always felt that it was the phoenix bloodline within her that was causing the problem.
After all, the phoenix is, in a sense, a kind of "great demon".
The RV sped across the boundless plains like a galloping beast, the scenery outside the window flashing by. Only when the city in her memory became a small black dot did Su He's anxious heart finally settle down.
"How did you do that?! Boss Zhu's spacecraft actually crashed on its own!! And also, since Boss Zhu is dead, why didn't you just go and rescue the women and children that Boss Zhu imprisoned? Do you have electromagnetic weapons? No, no, no, are you an android??"
Su He seemed extremely excited, managing to regain some of the vitality that belonged to her age, and kept asking questions.
"Please, do I look like a sucker? Or do I look like some kind of holy, radiant saint?"
Xu Milu gave him a strange look:
"Just like you said, electromagnetic guns are military weapons, so they certainly don't have many. Seven have already been destroyed. Plus, with Boss Zhu dead, it will be much easier for the survivors to escape. There are so many survivors in the world. If they don't try to save themselves, do you expect me to rescue them one by one and then send them to the safe zone?"
"sorry."
Su He realized she had asked a stupid question, and her excitement vanished instantly.
"Brother, can I open my eyes now?"
DouDou nestled obediently in his arms and asked softly.
—Before the “massacre” just began, Suhe had blindfolded the little girl.
Xu Milu glanced at the little girl, her expression softening, and praised her gently:
"DouDou is great! You can open your eyes now. Look, there are deer outside."
Wow! It's a fawn! So cute!
The little girl pried open Su He's hand and looked out the window. Sure enough, she saw wild deer grazing in the distance.
This is a herd of deer. After human activity disappeared, these natural creatures returned to their home.
"They are really cute."
Xu Milu nodded thoughtfully.
...
...
That night, the moon hung high in the sky, its silvery light pouring down like water. A campfire had been lit outside the RV. Suhe walked over carrying a large bundle of dry firewood, looking at the skinned and bled deer with a complicated expression.
