"The Aoki Mercenary Group offers 25,000 platinum coins! 25,000 platinum coins!!"
The bidding for the VIP boxes upstairs never stopped, but no one had followed up anymore, since no one wanted to get involved in the battle between the two mercenary groups.
Everyone stared at the instant noodle seasoning packet in the auctioneer's hand with fervent expressions and flushed faces; anyone who didn't know better would think they were scrambling for some rare and precious treasure.
Under the spotlight, Xu Milu could clearly see the image of the dark-colored meal package projected onto the large screen in the auction hall.
The "dark cuisine package" in the auctioneer's hand was just a packet of instant noodle seasoning, and unfortunately, it was pickled cabbage flavored.
Xu Milu, being a Chinese, immediately recognized the "ancient characters" on the screen.
She didn't know whether to first think about why Earth's things were here, or whether she should go back to Earth and buy a couple of packs of instant noodles to get rich.
Maggie kept a close eye on Xu Milu's expression and noticed that she wasn't excited at all; instead, her expression was calm. Suddenly, an idea struck her:
"Is Lady Miru a member of the Gourmet Association? You don't seem interested in this ingredient."
“I don’t belong to any organization, but I really have no interest in this item.”
Xu Milu bluntly retorted, "And what is 'dark cuisine'?"
Maggie's eyes flickered, and she patiently began to explain:
"Dark cuisine is a source of pride for the dark cuisine community. They believe that using ingredients processed through non-natural means is the true essence of good food."
Xu Milu understood; to put it bluntly, it was a food additive supplier.
"Logically speaking, these seasoning packets, cough cough, 'dark cuisine' packets, shouldn't be produced in small quantities, so why are they much more precious than natural ingredients?"
Xu Milu quickly realized something was wrong.
Maggie smiled and shook her head:
"A century ago, the Dark Cuisine world attempted to replace natural ingredients with industrialized cuisine, leading to the extinction of many ingredients and the decline of the culinary world. The whole world was plunged into a food panic. Later, it was the top food hunter of the Food Association, Arov, who destroyed the Dark Cuisine Group and completely saved the food world. As for those dark cuisines, they have all disappeared without a trace."
Xu Milu couldn't help but click her tongue: "Aren't you afraid the Food Association will cause trouble when you auction off the Dark Cuisine Buns?"
Maggie smiled slightly: "Although the Gourmet Association is committed to eliminating all existence related to the Dark Cuisine World, Phuket Island is located on the new culinary route and is not within the jurisdiction of the Gourmet Association."
Xu Milu nodded knowingly. To put it bluntly, it's similar to the high seas under international law. Even if the Food Association knew, there was nothing they could do.
After all, they have no right to attack civilians.
Xu Milu was still somewhat concerned about that line of Chinese characters, and suspected that the bizarre cuisine from a hundred years ago was something created by the previous owner of the dimensional jumper.
Lost in thought, Xu Milu didn't notice that Maggie quietly left the room.

The auction has entered a heated phase. The Wolf Head Mercenary Group has offered a high price of 40,000 platinum coins, but the Green Wood Mercenary Group is keeping a close eye on the bid. This auction seems to have turned into a showdown between the two major mercenary groups.
"Enough!"
The curtains of the VIP room on the second floor were drawn back, and Su Lang appeared in everyone's view. He looked at the room of the Green Wood Mercenary Group with a gloomy expression and said in a deep voice:
"Aoki, don't go too far! The Baron has long coveted this item. Are you trying to go against him?!"
The curtain opposite him was not drawn back; only a figure could be vaguely seen reclining on the sofa, speaking with a hint of nonchalance:
"I heard that Puka died in the Snow Valley? You're so eager to surrender to the Baron, it seems that this is true."
Xu Milu felt that the voice sounded somewhat familiar.
“Puka died protecting the Baron’s fiancée, which has nothing to do with your participation in today’s auction—if you continue to raise the price, the Aoki Mercenary Group will face the double wrath of the Baron’s Mansion and the Wolf Head Mercenary Group!”
Su Lang raised his bidding paddle with a warning in his voice and a sinister expression: "Forty-five thousand platinum coins!!"
This is all the assets the Wolf Head Mercenary Group can currently utilize!
But Su Lang had no choice; he knew very well what the Baron's attitude would be if he messed things up.
The auctioneer stammered as he announced the final price:
"Forty-five thousand platinum coins, the Wolf Head Mercenary Group offers forty-five thousand platinum coins!"
"Forty-five thousand platinum coins at a time!"
"Forty-five thousand platinum coins twice!!"
"Forty-five thousand platinum coins three times!!"
"Congratulations to Lord Su Lang of the Wolf Head Mercenary Group for successfully bidding on this precious Dark Cuisine Bun!!!"
"Thump!!"
As the auction gavel fell, images of gold coins scattering appeared on the large screen in the room, signifying that the final ownership of this "dark cuisine bun" had finally been decided.

Su Lang was so impatient that he even disregarded the rules of the auction and instructed Vera to bring back the Dark Cuisine Package.
"Father, is this what they call 'disastrous cuisine'?"
Vera handed over the crystal box, and Su Lang held his breath, carefully taking out the contents, holding them preciously in his palm, and closing his eyes to feel them.
A moment later, he opened his eyes and a look of joy appeared on his face:
