Chapter 284 Villains Always Die from Talking Too Much

"boom!!!"

An explosion rang out, the chains connecting the eight wildebeest to the carriage were blown apart, the rolling wheels lost momentum, and the entire float overturned and fell to the ground. Soft black flower branches fell, and bright red rose petals fluttered down like a rain of roses.

The elves and humans, bound by vines, resembled exquisite dolls, staging an absurd and bizarre pantomime amidst a sky full of petals.

If it weren't for the bloodshed behind it, this scene would be quite dreamy and romantic.

However, Xu Milu was focused on something else entirely. Looking at the perfectly coordinated teamwork of Jiang Wenyan and Nian Fengran, she couldn't help but feel utterly bewildered:

"No, where did you get the explosives???"

She had just seen it clearly: the two men had used a whole bag of explosives to blow up Sivian's carriage, and it was obvious that the explosives were incredibly powerful.

“We have all received specialized training and are able to make simple explosives.”

Jiang Wenyan's answer was always the most concise. She easily dodged the attack of the vine and handed Xu Milu a bottle of liquid:

"We just made a concentrated salt water weapon. Although these roses are troublesome, the concentrated salt water can effectively suppress these frenzied people. According to our observation, the salt will stop the roses on the float from growing further. We don't have enough manpower to make more concentrated salt water weapons—"

“Our two comrades have already formed a mission team. One of them will lead the remaining players to complete the mission, while the other will be responsible for making more saltwater weapons. This can be completely left to us.”

Nian Fengran swiftly and cleanly knocked down the gourmet hunter who was trying to attack him with a knee kick, and didn't forget to explain to Xu Milu.

? ? ?

? ? ?

Is this the source of the official confidence?!

He can make simple explosives, devise emergency strategies to fight the enemy, and is capable of both attacking and healing teammates. He can also initiate team fights. He's an absolutely amazing teammate!

Xu Milu felt even more confident about rescuing Overland.

"Damn it! Why aren't you affected?! Impossible! Impossible! The Crimson Rose is the most perfect creation! No one can escape its allure, not even you humans!!"

Sivian struggled to her feet from the float, the black rose branches around her creeping up and down, while the roots of the white roses on the float swayed like countless wriggling maggots.

"Submit to me and join Oroq! Like me, attain perfect immortality. From this day forward, we will be one. Oroq is me, and I am Oroq!"

Sivian's tone was low, and the black vines beneath him emitted an even denser cloud of red mist, enveloping the three of them.

The scent of roses in the air was even stronger, a hazy fragrance reminiscent of the aroma of decaying rose petals, full of decadence and allure.

Xu Milu seemed to be bewitched by his words, and took a step forward in a daze:

"Immortality...really?"

"Of course it's true! Join us, join Orok, and we can have long lives like elves. We don't need to pray for the mercy of the goddess of nature; we can enjoy all of this ourselves—"

Seeing that his plan had succeeded, Sivian couldn't help but raise the corners of his mouth and continued to entice:

"Come on, come on, join us..."

"Join Oroq—"

Xu Milu took a step forward in a daze. Nian Fengran and Jiang Wenyan, who were about to make a move, suddenly saw something and the two of them shrank back.

Xu Milu gestured to them with her hand hidden behind her back, indicating that they should rescue the elves and dwarves trapped on the float first.

Taking advantage of Xu Milu drawing away Xiwei'an's attention, the two quietly disappeared into the crowd.

Sivian was oblivious to this; he seemed still immersed in the rosy future he had created for himself.

"Yes, join Oroq and you'll have everything: a long life, endless wealth, wonderful adventures... and everything you could ever want. You won't even need so-called 'dark cuisine' to possess immense power—"

Xu Milu's face showed a hint of struggle, as if she were caught in a fierce internal battle:

"No, no, I still have...friends, I need to find them, find Overland, Aoki, and...and..."

"So you're the gourmet hunter Milu, the human Aoki swore allegiance to? Oh, what a pity. Aoki is no longer my friend. He hurt me and fled the castle with my elven guests—but perhaps you can be my new friend."

Sivian shifted his body, leaning forward slightly, and the rose branches clinging to him wriggled along with him:

"Tell me, where are those 'dark cuisine' packets?"

"exist--"

Xu Milu said something in a low voice, but Xiweian only saw her lips move and did not hear any sound.

He hastily released the controlled elves and human puppets, and impatiently took a step forward:

"Where is it? Where is the Dark Cuisine Bun that can grant even greater power?!"

His legs had disappeared, replaced by countless entwined wooden vines.

"You... damn it!"

Xu Milu suddenly looked up and smashed the bottle filled with highly concentrated saline solution into Sivian's green face. The crystal bottle shattered with a crash.

*Smack!!!*

"Sizzle sizzle—"

"Aaaaaaaahhhhh!"

It was unclear how concentrated the salt water was, but when the liquid splashed, puffs of white smoke rose from the half of Sivian's already petrified body, its lethality comparable to that of sulfuric acid.
