Chapter 319 Fried Mountain Crab & Crab Roe Rice Bowl

It was lunchtime, and when she looked through the iron railing, wow, it was full of high school students in school uniforms who looked like they had been copied and pasted. Luckily, she had good eyesight and immediately recognized Xu Minian from the crowd.

"Sis! Why are you bringing me food? I thought you'd been busy these past few days."

Xu Minian quickly ran to the iron fence, his head covered in sweat, indicating that he had run all the way here after receiving the call.

—For the safety of students, the school does not open its gates during the day, and parents can only deliver meals to their children through the iron fence. This has almost become an unspoken agreement in the local area.

Xu Milu opened the food box in her hand, which contained a bowl of white rice covered with bok choy, a bowl of braised pork, a bowl of crispy fried mountain crab, and a jar of crab roe oil.

"I made crab roe oil today, but I didn't add any crab meat; it was made with pure crab roe. Don't you like that?"

"Wow! This smells amazing! Sis, have you had some yet?"

Xu Minian skillfully pulled out two small stools from the bushes and gave one to Xu Milu.

Xu Milu nodded and smiled, saying:

“I ate. I ate at home. I brought you food. If you like it, I'll bring you more next time. If you still have more at home, try this fried mountain crab. It was a gift from the villagers. Eat more to get calcium.”

After receiving the answer, Xu Minian couldn't wait to open the jar of crab roe oil and scoop out a large spoonful to pour over the rice.

White rice paired with a handful of boiled, vibrant green bok choy, and golden crab oil with an orange-red hue that resembles flowing gold, dripping onto the rice like honey—it's so tempting just to look at it.

No one can resist the delicious temptation of crab roe butter, and Xu Minian was no exception. He ate three bowls of rice with the crab roe butter. It was fortunate that Xu Milu had brought extra rice because she estimated that teenage boys have big appetites, otherwise there wouldn't have been enough for him to eat.
