Radish greens naturally have a bitter taste, but rubbing them with salt and then seasoning them with pork belly can cleverly remove that bitterness.

The rich, oily flavor has perfectly permeated the filling, and the presence of chili peppers adds a touch of surprise. With each bite, the oil and radish greens blend perfectly beneath the warm bun skin, and the occasional bite of pork belly is a delightful little surprise.

Three large steamers of buns were eaten by five people, their mouths greasy. Xu Milu even steamed a separate pot of buns without chili for Xu Lanjuan to take back for the children.

After Xu Lanjuan left, Liu Mingji slowly put down the steamed bun in his hand and said seriously:

"Ms. Xu, do you still have any seeds of the Giant Delicious Radish? I'd like to buy some on my own behalf. I promise it will only be used for scientific research and absolutely not for commercial purposes. Is that alright?"
