This is actually a female bard from the Elven race!
This was the first time Xu Milu had ever seen a legendary elf, and she couldn't help but glance at her a few more times. The other elf looked at her gently, as if she were looking at a naughty child.
The elf's voice was so beautiful, like a deep cello, Xu Milu couldn't help but praise:
"I'm sorry, your singing is just too beautiful."
The silver-haired elf smiled slightly, showing no sign of anger: "This lovely girl, you seem quite interested in the mandolin?"
Xu Milu nodded: "I've heard that there's a master knife maker in Mandolin, and I'd like to visit him. You seem to know a lot about Mandolin. I wonder if you've heard of the name Sanette?"
The female elf did not answer directly, but instead began to pluck the strings of her harp and sing softly:
"The king of the mandolin was named Sanette. He loved his daughter so much that he built a huge castle out of sugar and love. But the melancholy girl was struck by illness, and her fate was like a fragile branch—she was about to die—"
"Which brave warrior can save her? The king will grant you any treasure you desire—"
Is Sanette the king of the mandolin?
Xu Milu was somewhat surprised.
...
...
The ship docked at Mandolin Harbor. As soon as Xu Milu stepped off the ship, her face was covered in sand. The strong wind whipped up yellow sand that stung her face. She suddenly regretted not buying a face towel to cover herself.
Mandolin is truly a magical country. It is a very small country, almost only half the size of Phuket, and as far as the eye can see, all you can see is yellow.
Even the river was a strange dark brown, and it was impossible to see what was swimming in it.
"You must be a new guest!"
One of the people who disembarked said with a smile, "Here, you don't need to resist these pebbles; you have to learn to accept them."
Xu Milu looked around, puzzled, only to find that everyone seemed unconcerned about the sand that might end up in their mouths, and instead opened their mouths wide to welcome it.
"!"
Suddenly, she had a feeling and picked up a pinch of "gravel" with her hand to examine it closely. The slightly transparent yellow particles refracted a rainbow of colors in the sunlight.
Xu Milu tentatively licked it and immediately felt a sweet sensation spreading on her tongue.
She stared wide-eyed in shock.
This isn't sand! It's yellow sugar!!!
Even the water flowing in the river isn't "black water," but rather sweet and rich chocolate sauce!
She slowly shifted her gaze, and in the boundless golden sugar desert, where countless rivers flowing with chocolate syrup sweetly converged, stood rows of strangely shaped buildings.
The transparent glass on the buildings is made of sugar, the door frames are made of cookies, the door panels are made of bread, the lampposts along the roadside are made of chocolate, the blue bricks on the ground are made of chocolate with a milky smell, the fountain in the center of the square sprays not water, but golden honey, and even the pink flowers growing in the flowerbeds have a sweet fragrance.
The pebbles on the roadside are black chocolate chips, the clock tower used to tell the time smells of toffee, and the beverage machines on the street don't dispense water, but rather rich, creamy milk.
Translucent jelly-like fish swim in the chocolate river, and pink and white lambs rest by the roadside, while children laugh and tug at their wool to eat—clumps of pure white wool.
For a moment, Xu Milu truly believed she had stepped into a fairy tale world.
That's completely illogical!
