Chapter 111 Mutual Killing

Ning Ye clapped his hands. "Alright, stop standing there. Hurry up and get me a chair. We're finally going to have some fun tonight, so get me something done."

Xiao Wu was the quickest to react; he immediately went to move chairs and tables, and also grabbed some fruit and tea.

"Hmm, you two are teachable. You're not still thinking about how to escape from me, are you? If you have such thoughts, I advise you to save your breath. There's absolutely no way you can do that."

These two Turks were clearly stubborn and wouldn't back down until they hit a brick wall. Unfortunately, just as they were about to lash out, they were struck by a sharp pain as two sticks knocked them to the ground. Then, several sticks crossed to form a sturdy lock.

Now there's no way to escape, and even if you wanted to commit suicide, it's completely impossible.

Ning Ye took a sip of tea. "Actually, I'm not interested in you guys, but why are you so persistent? You only brought one person in, but now you want to bring two more."

“You cunning fellow, you’ve been plotting against us from the very beginning. There’s a reason why things happened today.”

Another Turk said, "Now that we're in your hands, you can do whatever you want with us. Just give us a quick death and stop dawdling around."

Ning Ye laughed, "Hey, if you think you can just do whatever you want, then you're the ones who have the final say. Do I look like someone who's easy to talk to?"

"If you kill both of us, I guarantee you won't have a good ending either. If you have any conditions, you can discuss them; maybe we can talk."

Wang Wu said with a sneer, "You think you can negotiate with my young master? You're just daydreaming."

"Old Wang, I have to criticize you here. What if they really can come up with something that will move me? It's not certain. Why don't you two tell me if you can really come up with something that will move me?"

The two Turks exchanged a glance and said, "We will also pay a hundred taels of silver to redeem our lives, and we promise never to cause you any more trouble."

Ning Ye laughed loudly, "Aren't your lives a bit too cheap? Is that all you're worth? And don't bother me anymore. Do you think I'm afraid of you?"

"Stop insulting our Turkic warriors, you bastard! What do you want? Can you release them or not? Give me a straight answer."

Ning Ye suddenly stopped smiling and said coldly, "How about this? I'll give you both a dagger. Now the two of you can fight to the death. The one who survives can leave. What do you say?"

The two Turks' expressions changed drastically. They had never heard of such a method before, and fratricide meant that even if they returned, they would likely not be spared.

"Don't say I didn't give you a chance. You're hesitating now, but if I change my mind later, you won't even have this chance anymore, and both of you will have to stay. Why don't you think about it?"

Ning Ye's words echoed in their ears like the whispers of a demon. Both of them kept convincing themselves that if they both fell here, that would be the greatest misfortune. At the very least, they had to save one of them.

The moment Ning Ye threw the dagger, all the sticks on their bodies were removed, and in that instant, one of them rushed forward without hesitation.

Before his companion could react, the man had already snatched the dagger from his hand. The dog-eat-dog scene was quite interesting, after all, you can't see such exciting things every day.

Ning Ye, on the other hand, clapped his hands and occasionally offered a few comments, as if he were simply watching their performance.

The two of them were giving it their all, each move aimed to kill, showing no sign of hesitation whatsoever.

Ning Ye could understand why these Turks had always been a major threat, given how ruthless they were to their own people.

With such ruthless personalities, these people can always unleash a fighting power that ordinary people do not have, no matter what the situation is.

But this is not necessarily a good thing. After all, a nation must be diverse. When they only have one thing to be proud of, it means they have nothing else to offer.

The fight between the two was quickly decided; the guy who grabbed the dagger first survived, panting heavily.

"Now I'm the only one left. Shouldn't you keep your word and let me leave?"

"Yes, you're right. I can't be as untrustworthy as you are. You can leave now. I definitely won't keep you here. After all, you are indeed a nuisance."

The Turk looked at the path that had been cleared behind him and turned to run without hesitation. Unfortunately, just as he was about to step out of the gate, a sharp arrow pierced through his chest.

The Turk looked behind him in disbelief. "You broke your promise, you despicable man."

Ning Ye said innocently, "I only said I would let you go, but what can I do if my men don't want to let you go? Or maybe you were just careless."

The Turk fell straight backward, seemingly dying with resentment. But it didn't matter to Ning Ye. Even if he died with resentment, what did it have to do with him?

As for the mass graves where their bodies were interred, the pits had already been dug. However, Ning Ye probably only had a few pits left, and whether they would be used depended on whether these people knew what was good for them.

There was no more drama to watch, so Ning Ye clapped his hands. "Alright, that should be enough for tonight. Time to go back to sleep, everyone. We still have work to do tomorrow."

The deaths of two Turks caused not a ripple in Ningye's mind. Everyone would just think that the two men deserved to die, and what did it have to do with Ningye?

However, Mahmud spent a very difficult night, since the people he sent out had disappeared without a trace. No matter how much he thought about it, he should know that their fate was probably unknown.

He thought he was coming here to make great strides, but he was tripped up one after another. How could Mahmud swallow this insult?

Unfortunately, even if Mahmud still wanted to deal with Ningye in this matter, he no longer had the chance. Mahmud received a message ordering him to continue forward immediately without stopping. He didn't know what had happened, but he refused to obey the order.

But Mahmud still remembered Ning Ye's name firmly. After all, the mountains and rivers remain unchanged, and even if he couldn't do anything today, he would have to regain his face in the future.
