He sat on the edge of the bed and gently rubbed her delicate cheek.

His brows and eyes were dim, filled with unspeakable pain.

The person on the bed seemed to have had a nightmare and was sleeping uneasily. He patted her back gently to comfort her.

After washing up, he lay down beside her, but when Shu Wanning woke up, he was no longer in the room.

This went on for several days in a row. Every time he came home or left home, it was when she was asleep.

Shu Wanning was a little tired of being tossed around by him in the past few days. She would occasionally go to Sheng'an and never went to Wen's.

She got up, changed her clothes, and on her way to Wen's, she looked out the window at the gloomy sky.

Wen Yuci already knew that she was on the way. When she opened the door, he hurriedly turned off his phone and hid it in his pocket.

"Mr. Wen, what are you hiding?"

She walked over and sat on his lap as usual, but he grabbed her arm and forced her to stand up.

"Why are you here?" he asked.

Shu Wanning leaned against the table and joked, "I haven't been here for a few days. I came to check on you today."

Wen Yuci: "I've been busy with a bidding recently, so I'll be back late tonight."

His tone was flat, and Shu Wanning didn't suspect anything. She nodded and said, "Then make sure you get some rest."

She bent down and moved closer, leaving a lipstick mark on his lips before speaking: "Sheng An is also very busy, so I'll go over first."

"Well, be safe."

He watched her back as she left. Of course Sheng An was very busy recently because it was arranged by him.

Yan Hao walked in after Shu Wanning left. After hesitating for a long time, he asked, "Boss, do we really have to do this?"

During the long silence, a ray of sunlight from outside the window passed through layers of dark clouds and fell into the office.

Wen Yuci slowly stood up, his throat was extremely dry, and he uttered the syllables with difficulty: "Time is running out."

Barritt has begun to crack down on his father's illegitimate son, and some companies in the capital have slowly turned to him.

In the face of absolute interests, everyone wants to fight for a share of the rich wealth he gives.

"Let's go," he said.

In the evening, Shu Wanning got off work and saw a familiar green sports car parked outside the company.

Wen Yuming leaned against the car, his face wrinkled.

"Have you been bullied?" Shu Wanning stepped forward and asked.

"Sister-in-law, did you have a fight with my brother?"

Shu Wanning was a little confused by his question, but she still shook her head and answered him: "No."

Wen Yuming pursed his lips, and after much hesitation, he handed the phone to her:

"Sister-in-law, my classmate took a picture of my brother drinking in the club, take a look."

In the picture, there is wine in front of Wen Yuci, a hostess is sitting next to him, and there is a smile on his face.

Pretty cool, she thought to herself.

"When was the photo taken?" Shu Wanning asked.

"Half an hour ago."

She looked at the photo carefully and said calmly, "Let's go and take a look."

She sat in the passenger seat, listening to the roar, a hint of hostility appeared between her brows.

At the entrance of the Aurora Club, Wen Yuming threw the key to the waiter and followed Shu Wanning with big strides.

Shu Wanning wore a long black coat and black high heels, and the hem of her beige skirt rose as she walked.

After entering the room, she looked around and saw Wen Yuci with his suit buttons undone on the sofa not far away.

His tie was a little loose, and there were hot beauties sitting on both sides of him, looking very happy.

She stood there and watched for a long time. The Wen Yuci in front of her was a stranger, so she didn't dare to go forward to identify him.

Wen Yuming wanted to rush over, but Shu Wanning reached out and held him back.

She walked over slowly.

After approaching, she threw the bag she brought with her on the sofa and looked at him against the light: "Wen Yuci."

As soon as she entered the door, Wen Yuci saw her.

He slowly raised his eyes, his cheeks slightly red, and he looked drunk: "How did you know I was here?"

The woman next to him was still toasting. Shu Wanning chuckled and said, "Is it bothering you?"

She kicked over the table with the wine on it and said calmly, "Get out of the way."

Wen Yuming stepped back. The oppressive feeling from his sister-in-law was no less than that from his brother.

The two women relied on the man on the sofa and did not stand up, looking at Shu Wanning provocatively.

Everyone present turned their eyes over here and whispered to each other. The person in charge of the Wen family, standing in front of him was Mrs. Wen, who rarely appeared in public.

Shu Wanning raised her eyelids and glanced at the two women, then waved her hand. Yan He behind her stepped forward and slapped her twice.

Seeing this, Wen Yuci stood up and pulled Shu Wanning's hand: "Okay, let's talk about it when we get home."

Shu Wanning raised her eyes and looked at him coldly.

After a few seconds, she turned and left. Wen Yuci reached out and took her bag and followed her.

When passing by Wen Yuming, he paused slightly and received a look of contempt from him.

Yan Hao sat in the front of the car, not daring to move. Shu Wanning kept his head down playing games, looking calm and composed.

However, this peace only lasted until Qianyue Bay.

As soon as the car stopped, Shu Wanning opened the door and got out. She stood there without moving, slowly raised her eyes and looked at the man standing in front of her.

"Wen Yuci, explain yourself. I'm listening."

His brows were no longer as gentle as before, and there was a layer of contempt in his eyes.

"There's nothing to explain, Shu Wanning. I'm tired."

When he met her eyes, he could not find any love for her in his dark pupils.

Shu Wanning's eyelashes trembled slightly, and she gave a distant smile: "Are you kidding me?"

"No, I'm just tired."

"Shu Wanning, I don't have the energy to think about you every day. I don't have that much patience to accompany you all the time.

I've done a lot over the years, but I also want to relax enough, you know?"

"I see. I've delayed you, haven't I?"

Shu Wanning raised her head and looked at him again: "Then why don't you say it?"

"You know I don't like to get entangled with others. If you are tired of it, you can just say it directly. Why do this?"

She saw the person in front of her and sneered: "What if you cry again? If you cry, I will have to..."

"Wen Yuci!"

A loud slap rang out in the silent night.

Shu Wanning staggered for a moment, and Wen Yuci subconsciously stretched out his hand, then quickly retracted it.

He touched the side of his face that was hit and looked at her coldly:

"I'm not a consistently good person. If you can't accept it, we'll divorce..."

"Okay, divorce."

Two very light words hit Wen Yuci, making him almost unable to breathe.

The wind was so cool at night that it made Shu Wanning's skirt sway, and she was getting further and further away from Wen Yuci.

The winter wind was so cold that her eyes and nose turned red.

"It's been a year, too." Shu Wanning said softly.

She took a step back, looking at him from a distance, just one step away.

She bent her lower lip and looked at him tenderly: "I still have a copy of the agreement you tore up.

After a year, it turns out that Mr. Wen is indeed trustworthy."

She didn't cry, but he couldn't help it.

"Shu Wanning..."

"Wen Yuci."

She interrupted him, her hair blown messy, hiding her distant brows.

Wen Yuci clenched his fists at his sides, and the cold wind whistled in his ears.

But all he heard was Shu Wanning's trembling voice.

She said, “That’s it.”
