☆, Chapter 10 Shu Wanning's Drinking Behavior Is Too Bad
Yan Hao came and went in a hurry, and Shu Wanning turned off the boring TV program.
I took a cup of warm water upstairs and when I pushed open Wen Yuci's door, he was sitting on the edge of the bed pulling at his shirt.
He ripped open two buttons, revealing his muscular chest muscles and the lines of his abdominal muscles, which were also vaguely attractive.
Shu Wanning looked up and frowned slightly. This person had a really good figure.
She placed the water glass on the bedside. Wen Yuci looked up at her, his eyes red from drinking, and his usual indifference was less evident.
Shu Wanning stood there, looking down at him for a long time, appreciating his appearance at that moment before turning around and leaving.
Walking out of the room, Shu Wanning breathed a sigh of relief. Staring at Wen Yuci in such a closed room really made her daydream.
The moonlight outside the window was like water and the stars were like brocade. Shu Wanning tossed and turned in bed, unable to fall asleep.
Around one o'clock, Shu Wanning sat up from the bed, touched his shriveled belly, and tiptoed to open the door.
When she went downstairs, she saw Wen Yuci sitting on the sofa with a half-finished glass of wine in front of him. She paused unconsciously, then slowly walked over and asked in a low voice, "Why are you still drinking?"
Wen Yuci actually knew she would come downstairs the moment she opened the door. He raised his head and asked calmly, "Want to drink together?"
"No."
Shu Wanning turned into the kitchen, opened the refrigerator and found that there was no food left for her. Then she remembered that the person who left food for her had asked for leave and went home.
She pursed her lips and closed the refrigerator door. She heard footsteps approaching from behind. Wen Yuci stood at the kitchen door and asked, "Are you hungry?"
Shu Wanning shook her head and was about to leave when Wen Yuci grabbed her arm.
He put on a black home suit, walked into the kitchen, took out some pasta from the cupboard and said, "I'm a little hungry, would you like to eat something together?"
Someone offered to make food, and Shu Wanning didn't refuse. She picked up an orange from the shelf and peeled it while leaning against the wall.
She peeled the orange and tore off the white pith bit by bit, as carefully as if she was doing skin care for the orange.
Wen Yuci, who was cooking noodles, turned his head to look at her and asked the question he had been wondering about:
"Shu Wanning, why do you come downstairs to look for food at this time every day?"
Shu Wanning threw the orange peel in her hand into the trash can and cut the orange in half.
While handing it to Wen Yuci, he looked at him and said, "Mr. Wen, it's not a good habit to pry into other people's secrets."
Wen Yuci took the half of the orange and put it in his mouth. Without responding to her, he continued to stir the pasta in the pot.
Seeing him take out the tomato, Shu Wanning stood up straight and asked, "Can I request the black pepper version?"
Wen Yuci put down the tomato, found the black pepper, glanced at Shu Wanning who was leaning against the wall and chuckled:
"You have quite a few requests. Aren't you afraid I'll throw them out?"
Shu Wanning stared at Wen Yuci and said, "Mr. Wen, if your memory is still good.
You should remember that we are now a legal couple."
"So what?" Wen Yuci asked her calmly, "What if my newlywed wife accidentally falls from the building?"
Shu Wanning looked up and met his teasing gaze, and for the first time she felt that he was not as gentle as he looked.
She nodded seriously: "I'll listen to you."
Wen Yuci laughed dumbly, then took out a plate from the cabinet and placed it on the table. He looked at Shu Wanning and asked, "What if it was a car accident?"
Shu Wanning nodded seriously again: "It's all right."
She answered without hesitation. Wen Yuci glanced at her as if he had punched cotton, picked up the noodles, walked past her and went to the restaurant.
Shu Wanning took two forks and sat at the dining table. She glanced at Wen Yuci secretly, but didn't want to meet his eyes.
Wen Yuci: "I'll have someone build a snack cabinet in your room tomorrow so you can eat whenever you want."
"No, it's too troublesome."
"No trouble."
"Thank you."
Wen Yuci agreed, but later he regretted his decision immensely.
The portion of noodles is not too big, which makes you feel full without being bloated.
Shu Wanning originally thought that since Wen Yuci cooked, she should take the initiative to wash the dishes.
But before she could say anything, Wen Yuci forcefully took away her cutlery.
Wen Yuci: "I'm not so shameless as to ask my new wife to wash the dishes."
But he didn't plan to wash the dishes himself, he just put the dishes in the sink.
Shu Wanning sat on the sofa, his eyes fixed on the wine he had drunk earlier.
She stepped on her slippers and took out another wine glass from the wine cabinet. Under Wen Yuci's gaze, she poured herself half a glass of wine.
Wen Yuci narrowed his eyes slightly and leaned lazily on the sofa.
He was indeed drunk before, but after taking a shower, he was mostly sober and his mind was clear now.
Shu Wanning drank half a glass of wine at a time until only a little was left in the bottle. She looked at him with a hint of anticipation.
Wen Yuci: "Still want to drink?"
Seeing her nod, he asked, "How can you drink?"
Shu Wanning tilted his head and thought for a moment before saying, "I don't know, but people who are drunk probably won't hit others."
Wen Yuci seemed to have a smile coming out of his nose, and he picked up another bottle of wine from the wine cabinet and opened it.
When he placed it on the table, he looked at Shu Wanning and said, "I have something to tell you."
"What's up?"
"The fifteenth of this month is my mother's death anniversary. Do you have time to go with me?"
Shu Wanning took a sip of wine and asked in surprise, "Me? As your wife?"
Seeing him nod, Shu Wanning continued, "But we are getting married by agreement. What will we do in the future? How will you explain it?"
Wen Yuci poured himself a glass of wine and said nonchalantly, "Then just say that my wife ran away when I was drunk."
Shu Wanning: …………
She took a sip of wine and nodded: "Then I'll go with you."
Her face gradually began to turn red due to drinking, and her eyes, which used to be clear, seemed to be gradually covered with mist.
After drinking most of the bottle of wine, Shu Wanning was a little drunk, but he was still reluctant to put down the glass in his hand.
She leaned against the sofa, the shawl she was wearing hanging loosely on her body.
She slowly turned her head to look at Wen Yuci and murmured, "You... are quite good-looking."
She stood up and moved towards his position, but unfortunately she didn't stand firmly and fell on the sofa.
Wen Yuci held her arm and looked at her with amusement. She usually looked indifferent to everything, and this was the first time he saw her so lively in such a long time.
"Hello, could you please unbutton your clothes for me to see? Thank you."
Wen Yuci was at a loss for words at Shu Wanning's sudden remark. He snatched the wine glass from her hand and put it on the table.
He clamped her arms and forced her to sit on the sofa, looking at her with a chuckle: "I didn't expect you to act like a hooligan after drinking too much."
Shu Wanning shook his head: "I'm not being a hooligan."
Seeing that he was unmoved, Shu Wanning moved closer to him, and while he was distracted, she pounced on him and pulled the collar of his pajamas.
"Shu Wanning, don't move."
Wen Yuci pulled her hand down. Shu Wanning tilted her head to look at him, puzzled and asked, "Why don't you show it to me? Do you feel you've been taken advantage of?"
She nodded seriously and said, "Don't be self-deprecating, you still have a good figure."
With a dark face, he carried the person on his shoulders and went upstairs. After throwing the person on the bed and wrapping him in the quilt, he strode out the door, leaving Shu Wanning alone to search for the exit under the quilt.
Wen Yuci couldn't stop smiling after returning to the room. Shu Wanning really had a good alcohol tolerance, but his drinking manners were... terrible.
