Not long after, footsteps were heard at the door. Yan Hao followed Wen Yuci and opened the door. The woman on the sofa immediately stood up and said, "Boss, I have a new plan that I need your attention."
Wen Yuci didn't take the document from her hand, but asked, "Why are you here?"
Wen Yuci never liked anyone entering his office without permission. Shu Wanning put away his phone and wanted to watch the fun.
But the man pointed directly at her: "It's her. She said you went to a meeting and asked me to wait for you here."
Wen Yuci looked at Shu Wanning, only to see her nod and speak calmly, "She asked me who I was, and I said I was your sister, but she didn't believe me."
Hearing this, Wen Yuci took the document from the man and said, "She is my wife."
The word "wife" seemed to have split the person apart, but she still kept smiling and said to Wen Yuci: "Then you take a look at the plan first, I will go to work first."
Working hard and managing your facial expressions perfectly, Shu Wanning silently commented in her heart.
She looked at Wen Yuci, and he looked at her as well, and asked with a curved lip, "Did she make you angry?"
Shu Wanning shook his head. He then asked, "Shall I take you around the company?"

Wen Yuci walked to the left side of the desk and opened the door, saying with a curved lip, "The bathroom and lounge are inside. You can rest if you're tired."
His eyes fell on Shu Wanning's face. It was the first time he saw her smile in such a long time. Even though the smile was not visible in her eyes, at least a ripple finally appeared on her usually calm face.
After she entered, Yan Hao leaned closer to Wen Yuci and said in a low voice, "Madam is really different."
Wen Yuci glanced at him, sat down, and asked, "What's the difference?"
"Madam has a temperament that is indifferent to worldly affairs, has no interest in anything, and doesn't care about anything."
He nodded as he spoke, and then continued: "And he's not afraid of anything and dares to say anything. It suddenly reminded me of a few words."
"What word?"
“Life is one day at a time.”
When Shu Wanning came out of the bathroom, Yan Hao was no longer in the office. The room was empty, with only Wen Yuci processing documents.
She sat back quietly on the sofa, turned on her computer and wrote her own draft. She was so serious that she didn't even realize Wen Yuci was looking at her.
Wen Yuci stopped writing and looked at her serious profile. Now that he thought about it, he didn't know why he brought her to the company. It was obvious that the less interaction between the two of them, the better.
But seeing her sitting alone in the living room, drinking hot tea with her head down, a soft-hearted feeling quietly emerged in my heart.
He glanced at the time and remembered that Shu Wanning hadn't eaten breakfast that morning. He turned off the computer and asked in a low voice, "Are you hungry?"
Shu Wanning, who was concentrating on her thoughts, didn't hear his voice. Wen Yuci stood up and walked towards her. Standing behind her, he patted her shoulder and asked, "Are you hungry?"
Shu Wanning was startled. After saving the draft, she turned around and looked at him: "Why are you walking so quietly?"
Wen Yuci: "You were too focused and didn't notice me."
"Oh, what shall we eat?"
"Yan Hao has booked a restaurant. I'll take you there."
Yan Hao always feels that he has to juggle several roles, and sometimes he is so busy that he even doubts his life. But when he looks at the doubled bonus on his phone, he feels that he can still work for at least another fifty years.
At this moment, Yan Hao was walking towards the planning department. He pushed open the office door and said to the planning director, "Find someone who can take over Lina's job."
The planning director nodded in agreement. He had heard that Lina had violated company regulations by entering the president's office without permission. He wiped the sweat off his forehead, fortunately he was not implicated.
When Yan Hao returned to the president's office, he happened to see Wen Yuci and another person walking out of the office. He stood by the wall and watched them leave, and felt that the backs of the two people were an unusual match.
He shook his head to try to stop the thoughts, but found that he couldn't stop them at all.
Maybe it was because his boss was getting older and finally had a wife (although it was fake), and he was really happy for his boss.
Wen Yuci didn't ask for a driver this time. He drove himself. Shu Wanning sat in the passenger seat, fastened her seatbelt, and turned to look at him: "Mr. Wen, is your driving skill safe?"
Wen Yuci: "I think it should be safe."
He tilted his head to look at her, chuckled and asked, "Are you afraid of an accident?"
"Not really. I just think that dying in a car accident is too ugly."
Wen Yuci stepped lightly on the accelerator, resting one hand on the steering wheel and asking her with confusion: "At such a young age, how can you be so uninterested in life and death?"
Shu Wanning fixed her hair while looking at her phone and said, "Mr. Wen, it's better for you to just drive safely."
She said this as if to warn him not to ask around. Wen Yuci tapped his fingertips on the steering wheel and stepped on the accelerator. The restaurant was not far away, and when they arrived, someone was already waiting at the door to greet them.
He opened the car door and got out. When he was about to walk around to the passenger seat, Shu Wanning had already gotten out. Before he could say anything, the waiter at the door asked:
"Mr. Wen, the private room is ready. Can we serve the food now?"
After checking the time, he said, "Come back in ten minutes."
He walked to Shu Wanning and lowered his head and said, "Follow him to the private room first. I'll go choose a few dishes for them to send to grandma."
In the lobby, he watched Shu Wanning go upstairs, and then looked through the menu in the conference room on the first floor, but he didn't know that Shu Wanning was stopped before she reached the private room.
At this moment, Shu Wanning looked at Ji Cheng who was blocking her in front of her, shifted her gaze to his face, and persuaded herself a lot in her heart before she could resist scolding him.
"Ningning!"
He rushed to Shu Wanning and reached out to grab her hand but missed.
Shu Wanning always thought that she was a slow person and never knew that she could escape his touch so quickly.
Ji Cheng: "Ningning! I finally see you! I heard that your father sold you, and I've been looking for you for many days! No matter how aggrieved you are, don't worry, I will come to rescue you as soon as I have enough money!"
He looked at Shu Wanning and found that she seemed to have gained some weight, her face was much rosier, and she was even prettier than before.
Shu Wanning knew what he was thinking by looking at his constantly moving dog eyes. She quickly leaned against the railing and said, "The creditor said that I can pay you two million first and the rest later. You should have two million on you, right?"
"Ningning... I just had dinner with my friends and I don't have enough money."
Shu Wanning understood clearly that it was not that he didn't have enough money, but he just didn't want to spend money on her.
