"Thank you so much, Brother Qin!" Xi Junmai said excitedly, hugging the longswords. There was no other way; the two swords hadn't been sheathed yet, and they were so wide, he could only hold them with both hands.
"It's alright, just two longswords," Qin Mu said, shaking his head slightly.
"Let's go, we still have to go see that guy tomorrow," Yu Chi Baolin said, stretching.
As it was getting late, the others echoed their farewells and left.
"Ruoxi, wait a moment, I have something to show you," Qin Mu said, gently patting his forehead.
Upon hearing Qin Mu's words, everyone walking by turned around to look.
"Cough cough! You can look if you want, no one's chasing you away." Qin Mu was startled by their actions, rolled his eyes, and said irritably.
The group stopped and gathered around with smiles, even pulling at the somewhat bewildered Ma Zhou Hanchen.
"What's this? A bag? What's in it?" As soon as Qin Mu brought it out, Cheng Huaimo quickly grabbed one, looked it over, and asked a series of questions.
"This is a handbag designed for girls," Qin Mu explained.
Princess Changning naturally knew, but she didn't expect Qin Mu to have already done it. She picked it up and examined it with great interest, then picked it up again and hung it in her hand. Her self-taught manner left people speechless.
"Tch! I thought it was something good!" Cheng Huaimo lost interest and threw it on the table.
"Not bad, it can hold a lot of things, which is more convenient than carrying them on your person," Ma Zhou gave a fair assessment.
"You have good taste! Mr. Wang, this is for you." Qin Mu praised, picking up a men's handbag and handing it over.
Ma Zhou could tell that it wasn't anything particularly valuable, just beautifully crafted, so he smiled and accepted it. He figured it would be useful for storing documents, so he wouldn't have to carry it around all the time or worry about forgetting to put it somewhere else.
Xiangli Yanran glanced at it and lost interest. She had something better: the pocket at her waist, which was like a treasure chest, even though it only contained snacks.
"I want one, to give to my second sister," Yu Chi Baolin said, blinking as he picked up a bag.
Qin Mu couldn't help but glance at this guy. He was usually incredibly dense, but when it came to women, this guy seemed to suddenly become perceptive, his emotional intelligence soaring and his IQ returning. Qin Mu was certain that the "second sister" he was referring to wasn't his own second sister, but Cheng Ying from the Cheng family.
"That's right! Take them back to Mother and the others." Never letting good things slip by is typical of the Cheng family. Cheng Huaimo's eyes lit up, and he reached out and grabbed a few pieces.
With a "smack!", Qin Mu slapped his hand and said, "These are samples for the Empress. You can take any extras of each style. If you don't have any, you can wait a while."
"You can choose whichever you like!" Qin Mu said to the others.
"I don't need it!" Han Chen said coolly.
“I didn’t send it to anyone,” Xi Junmai said, shaking his head.
“I’ll just take one,” Li Chongyi said.
"Qin Yong, send the rest to the Princess's residence tomorrow," Qin Mu instructed, seeing that no one wanted them.
With their belongings in hand, the group left again, but Princess Changning was stopped by Qin Mu once more.
"What are you doing?" Princess Changning glanced at the others and blushed as she asked.
"There's one more thing I'd like to give you," Qin Mu explained.
"I want one too!" Perhaps feeling a little annoyed that she hadn't gotten one, Xiangli Yanran raised her hand and said before even seeing the item.
"You don't need it!" Qin Mu said after glancing at her, then pulled Princess Changning upstairs.
"Hehe!" Cheng Huaimo chuckled mischievously, grabbed his bag, and left.
"You bad person!" Xiangli Yanran kicked her little foot angrily and turned to leave.
The others also felt that Qin Mu wanted to give them gifts, but he was just looking for a tender excuse. They smiled knowingly at each other and left the Qin family together.
Princess Changning was thinking the same thing. When she entered Qin Mu's room, her heart started pounding, her cheeks flushed, and she nervously clenched her hands, unsure of what to do.
Looking at the bed on the side, Princess Changning couldn't help but let her mind wander. Should she half-heartedly comply, or openly cooperate? To be honest, she was actually quite looking forward to it.
Princess Changning felt her mouth was dry, her body was burning, and all her strength seemed to have vanished, leaving her unable to even take a step.
"Here! Try it out?" Qin Mu entered the room, walked to the side, opened a wardrobe against the wall, took out a few items from a drawer, and placed them somewhat embarrassedly in Princess Changning's hands.
"Ah! Ah! What did you say?" Princess Changning came to her senses and asked somewhat bewilderedly. Then, looking at the thing in her hand, she asked again in confusion, "What is this?"
Seeing the somewhat dazed Princess Changning, and with no outsiders around, Qin Mu couldn't resist the urge to hug her. He stretched out his head and kissed her pink lips.
"Um…"
………
After a while, Qin Mu released Princess Changning, took several deep breaths to suppress the burning desire in his heart, and silently recited the Heart-Cleansing Mantra. The red light in his eyes faded, and he smiled as he admired the beauty from the side.
"What's this?" She sat up in bed, straightened her clothes, gave Qin Mu a look that seemed both pleased and annoyed, and picked up the things that had fallen on the bed again to ask.
"This is something I prepared especially for you!" Qin Mu said excitedly, then whispered something in Princess Changning's ear.
"I don't want to!" Princess Changning's face flushed red again. She gently pushed Qin Mu away and dropped what she was holding.
"Your mind is always filled with all sorts of nonsense," Princess Changning said reproachfully.
"I'm innocent! This was specially made for you. I thought it might be because it was too big and affected your balance, which is why you fell down so suddenly. I made this to help stabilize you, and it's much more comfortable than what you're using now," Qin Mu hurriedly argued. Honestly, he made this thing entirely to relieve Princess Changning from feeling so tightly bound. He only remembered it when he was making the bag and needed to use wire to shape the bottom.
This was entirely handmade by him, and the fabric was carefully selected. It was not only comfortable but also breathable. Of course, Princess Changning didn't need any sponge; she only needed one thing to cover her lower body.
Qin Mu racked his brains to make this, referring to some classic examples from his memory. Only the lower half of the circle was made of steel wire, with straps on both sides hanging around the neck. This saved the trouble of fastening it tightly at the back. Moreover, this design, because the straps are around the neck, creates a pulling force towards the center, making the shape more beautiful.
