At dawn, a rocket streaked across the sky.
Horns blared throughout the city of Dayuan, and 50,000 elite cavalrymen filed out of the city gates. Their warhorses thundered, their hooves shaking the entire oasis.
This is the most elite force in Dayuan, and every rider is equipped with a Ferghana horse.
These divine steeds could travel a thousand miles a day without thirst, and their speed was astonishing. More importantly, each horse was a veteran of countless battles and was already accustomed to fighting.
"Release the arrows!"
On the city wall, hundreds of archers began to fire. They used a specially made, powerful bow, incredibly potent. The sound of the arrows piercing the air was like a shrill scream, sending chills down one's spine.
The wicked man stood at the front of the battle, coldly observing everything.

Immediately, the Qin army began to change formation.
The shield bearers in the front line formed a tight formation, blocking all the arrows. The swarm of troops behind them aimed at the arrow towers on the city wall, waiting for the enemy to come into range.

The Ferghana cavalry charged in like a flood. They were divided into several square formations, each with a uniform banner. Even more astonishingly, these riders could turn around and shoot arrows while charging, with remarkably accurate aim.

The Qin army unleashed its first volley of arrows.
Thousands of arrows fired simultaneously, instantly turning the sky black. The dense barrage of arrows resembled a swarm of locusts, emitting a deafening whistling sound.
However, the Ferghana cavalry reacted extremely quickly. They immediately scattered, avoiding the fatal blow.
Not only that, they also displayed astonishing horsemanship. The riders suddenly leaned forward on their horses, almost touching the mane. This highly difficult maneuver allowed them to successfully dodge most of the arrows.
"What excellent Ferghana cavalry!" the wicked man exclaimed. "However..."
He sneered, "Keep firing! Aim specifically at those arrow towers!"
A new volley of arrows rained down. This time, all of them aimed at the arrow towers on the city walls.
Although the arrow towers were sturdy, they could not withstand such a dense attack. The new armor-piercing arrows easily penetrated the towers' defenses, turning the archers inside into pincushions.
"Oh no! The city walls have fallen!" shouted the Dayuan general.
Without the cover of the arrow towers, the situation took a sharp turn for the worse. The once-unstoppable Dayuan cavalry had no choice but to change their tactics.
"Withdraw back into the city!" the King of Dayuan ordered.
However, the wicked man had already anticipated this. He immediately ordered his cavalry on both flanks to encircle and cut off the retreat of the Dayuan cavalry.
A chaotic battle ensued.
Although the Dayuan cavalry were all brave and fierce, they could not withstand the Qin army's sheer numbers. What was even more fatal was that the range of their "swarm" of arrows was farther than that of their powerful bows.

A deafening roar followed. It turned out that the Qin army's catapults had unleashed their power, smashing the city gate to pieces. The Dayuan cavalry, now with no way to retreat, were thrown into panic.
