Sensing the powerful aura emanating from Ying Zheng, Hades was startled. "How could a mere mortal possibly possess such power?"
As the lord of the underworld, having ruled it for many years, he still possessed such a powerful divine consciousness, and his power in this space did not diminish but rather increased.
However, Ying Zheng was merely a mortal, yet he now possessed such immense power, which was truly unacceptable to Hades.
Ying Zheng's eyes were cold and deep. "I am not the same as those kings you regard as ants. Many years ago, I was already above them."
"I am the Emperor!"
As the voice faded, the golden dragon roared, its sound like rolling thunder, resounding throughout the entire space and causing the space to tremble slightly.
A powerful aura stirred up waves of air, and then a golden dragon roared out and attacked Hades.
Sensing the terror of this attack, Hades frowned, not daring to be careless in the slightest. Yin energy surged around him, like a dark ocean in front of him, and he blocked the golden dragon.
The dragon roared out, its incomparably violent power sweeping out and instantly dispelling the yin energy. Then it roared towards Hades and crashed heavily into Hades' body.
With the powerful impact, Hades' body plummeted like a meteorite, crashing violently to the ground.
He got up, with faint wounds on his body, and spat out a mouthful of black blood.
Feeling the powerful impact of this attack, Hades frowned, "How could the divine sense of a mortal be so powerful?"
He had lived for tens of thousands of years to develop such a powerful divine sense, enabling him to contain such great power in this space. Yet Ying Zheng, a mere mortal who had only existed in the world for a few decades, also possessed such a powerful divine sense.
This truly shattered Hades's worldview. No matter how much he imagined it, he never expected that Ying Zheng would be so powerful, with his divine sense reaching such a level.
As soon as he finished speaking, the golden dragon continued its roar as it swooped down from above Hades' head, charging straight towards him.
Feeling the powerful force sweeping towards him, Hades quickly dodged to the right, moving more than ten steps away before avoiding the dragon's fierce impact.
The dragon crashed into the ground, and an endless aura spread out, along with boundless power, shaking the entire region and whipping up a fierce wind that made everyone's robes flutter.
Upon seeing this, Hades' eyes turned cold, and he waved one hand in Ying Zheng's direction, causing dense Yin energy to press down on Ying Zheng.
Now that the dragon is here, and everyone else is injured and unable to attend to Ying Zheng, if this Yin energy can kill Ying Zheng, then the dragon's power will also dissipate.
But the dragon reacted very quickly. Seeing that Ying Zheng was in danger, it suddenly rushed towards Ying Zheng, its huge body sweeping out and surrounding Ying Zheng, dispelling the approaching Yin energy.
Upon seeing this, Hades' expression changed, and his eyes widened. "How did you manage to do that? In just a few decades, how could you have created such a powerful divine consciousness?!"
Ying Zheng looked at him with cold eyes, "Weren't you born to be a king?"
Pluto was slightly taken aback by this strange question. "What do you mean?"
Ying Zheng said, "I was not born that way."
Hades' eyes darkened slightly as he looked at Ying Zheng with a puzzled expression, unsure of the meaning behind his words.
Ying Zheng continued, "Back then, I was the son of a hostage, living under someone else's roof, my life hanging in the balance. Although I lived every day, I didn't know when I would die tomorrow, or when my life would end. If you were in that situation, how would you feel?"
Hades frowned slightly but did not answer.
Needless to say, anyone in this situation would be filled with anxiety and constant panic, unable to even make a decent living.
Or perhaps they adopt a "live and let live" mentality, indulging in pleasure every day, thinking that at least they can enjoy themselves before they die, which is also worthwhile.
Ying Zheng said, "I have chosen to become stronger."
Hades' expression shifted slightly, his gaze shifting strangely as he scrutinized Ying Zheng.
Ying Zheng's eyes darkened. "People are always lost in despair, unable to find a real way out, and wandering in the mire until they are trapped in eternity. But I have found the only way out."
"I am poised to seize the opportunity. Even if I am alone, even if I am just a puppet when I become king, I will overcome all difficulties one by one."
Upon hearing this, Hades' expression darkened slightly. "What exactly are you trying to say by babbling on like this?"
Ying Zheng gazed at him, "Unlike kings like you who rely on their birth advantages, I rose from the ashes, swept away all other kings, and became the emperor, the ruler of this world!"
"The countless hardships and life-or-death situations I have experienced are beyond your imagination, so my divine consciousness is also beyond your comprehension!"
As the words fell, the golden dragon roared once more, then charged towards Hades with a furious roar. Terrifying power swept outwards, causing the void in this space to tremble incessantly.
Hades' eyes darkened, and endless Yin energy surged from his body, once again standing in front of him to block the giant dragon.
The giant dragon roared out, once again dispersing the yin energy, and then suddenly rushed towards Hades.
As the terrifyingly powerful golden dragon roared out, Hades was blasted away by the force, tumbling and rolling on the ground.
Once he regained his balance, his body was covered in wounds, and he spat out another mouthful of blood, indicating that his internal injuries were becoming increasingly severe.
Ying Zheng looked at him calmly, "Do you understand the difference between an emperor and a king now?"
Hades wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, his gaze fixed coldly on Ying Zheng. "You think you have victory in your grasp?"
